There’s no new video today.
After completing development for the October update, our team has been focusing on wrapping up final tasks this week.

This month has flown by so quickly, starting with conversations and feedback from all of you.
At first, I had a lot of worries—not because it was hard to read your comments and prepare responses, but because I wondered,

“What if we listen only to what players ask for, yet fail to actually evolve the game?”

Like the line from Goethe’s Faust — “Man finds satisfaction in his relationships with others.”
I was afraid that I might find comfort only in being understood by you, rather than truly improving the game.

But once our conversations began, I realized your feedback was far more specific and insightful than I had expected.
At the same time, I reflected that I had been seeing life simulation merely from the perspective of a single player.
And honestly, I enjoyed how tireless you all were in challenging me. 😢

Since our communication started a bit late in October, we couldn’t fully reflect your feedback in this update.
So starting next week, I’d like to share the December update plan in detail and hear your thoughts directly.
We’re currently preparing features like store management, Christmas decorations, a calendar system, group actions, multitasking, and family interactions.

We’re also planning to adjust our update approach.
While we’ll still deliver a major update at the end of December, we’ll also release smaller patches and immediate fixes in between.
This decision aims to reduce potential chain issues that can occur when too many systems are updated at once.

At inZOI, we believe that games are an art of interaction.
Developers create the world, but it’s you—the players—who live in it.
That’s why we’re adjusting our process to balance your feedback with stable updates.

Of course, splitting updates this way might make the December patch feel a little smaller in volume.
We ask for your understanding in advance. 🙏
The inZOI team will continue to grow the game step by step, steadily improving it until its full release.
Even when faced with opposition, we’ll keep trying bold new ideas in search of fresh fun.😁

Hello Kjun, i have a small bug with the main screen if i went away for a minute or so, the game closes itself. But everything in the update is working perfectly even with mods in version (0.4.1). I hope the december update shows a great family interactions for all ages, group actions and multitasking.

inZOI is definitely growing, and not a single update so far has ever disappointed me. The October update was truly impressive. I especially noticed that the graphics have improved remarkably compared to before. The ZOI hair colors now look much more detailed in-game, and the lighting and shadows made me feel as if I had stepped into a completely different world while playing.

However, there is still some light flickering when using the “realistic shadows” option. I’m not sure whether this is an issue with my PC or with Unreal Engine 5 itself, but I believe it will gradually be improved over time. Once again, I want to send my sincere support and appreciation to the inZOI team for their hard work!

Hey Kjun! I've spent some time with the new update and it's definitely a huge improvement over the previous version! That said, the character autonomy still needs some work — especially with their logic and behavior.

I'd love to see Zois automatically cook meals for multiple people, swim in the pool on their own, and do gardening without me telling them to.

Also, I noticed the Karma system has been completely reworked. It's taking some getting used to, and honestly, I prefer how it was before. One more thing — could we have negative social interactions shown by default instead of being hidden? It would make gameplay a lot smoother.

There has been debates on the traits system and on whether the karma system was removed .

I was wondering if you are still developing the karma system , and if the karma system will become more developed in the future for all Zois . I think the karma system is an important feature that bring something unique to Inzoi .

Regarding the traits system , I think all your initial ideas for traits had advantages . The first one with a notebook style in which there were traits depending on age evolution , the second one and the new one you just introduced.
I think it would be nice if there could be a way to combine all of the previous traits system and new systems together instead of replacing one for another since some of us liked the initial ideas .

I think combining advantages of each feature introduced would be good for the game

I think it will also help ease the team's schedule for a Christmas break. Please don't burn out 😩 . You're doing great. At the end of the day we're just here to help give you ideas you haven't thought about. We know you can't incorporate everything. Excited to see what the team develops in the coming months. 화이팅 !! 💪

Thank you Kjun! I also think smaller updates make more sense; you and the team will get feedback sooner that you can improve upon on the go, and I believe it will keep the playerbase more engaged. Managing stores has me excited! Please do share something about what is planned in that regard in a future video or a Q&A. I think many of us will be interested!

p.s. if I may ask, has the team positioned themselves about multiplayer options? I know it's the latest of priorities but I can't help but wonder if you have made any decisions yet, given that the feature was kind of controversial!

Dear kjun, thank you so much for your update! The october update was definitely amazing, and I'm looking forward towards your december plans. Inzoi defnitely isn't the same game as it was when it was first released, and it's definitely showing!

Anyways, when it comes to this genre of open sand box, casual games, a lot of players LOVE collections. And as such, I have a proposal specifically related to books.

Just as the case in real life, authors always write based on their own experiences/knowledge. And as such, I propose that instead of books being solely tied to critical thinking skills (or even a writing skill), the quality will also depend on the zoi's experiences. The more a zoi experiences/performs certain actions, the higher the chance they'll write a better quality book in a genre. My proposals per genre:

  • Essay: if something interesting happened to the zoi (they traveled, met someone new, got yelled at, etc), they will write higher quality essays
  • Romance novels: same as above only romance related
  • Fantasy novels: researching the occult, befriending mysterious librarian, talking to ghosts
  • Science fiction: researching science fiction on the computer, talking about aliens to others
  • History: visiting and praying at the temples, making offerings to cats, finding rare treasure
  • Adventure: travelling, snorkeling and visiting various locations, escaping jail
  • mystery novel: encountering thieves, experiencing hauntings, talking with police
  • Horror novel: experience hauntings, encounters with ghosts, walk outside at night
  • Autobiography: reach the top of a career or max out a skill, go to jail
  • Self help book: overcoming negative emotions faster 1/3

Once a zoi finishes writing a book, he can do 1 of 3 things: put in personal collection (keep at home, never publish), self publish (pay 3000(?) meow for publishing fees, or traditionally publish.

If they choose to traditionally publish, the zois will first need to find an agent. An agent will only accept novels that are at least normal quality, with excellent quality novels having a higher chance of finding an agent. How that would look:

  1. write query letter

  2. send off letter and wait for a day

  3. an agent texts the zoi and the zoi may proceed or nobody reaches out

  4. if nobody reaches out, the zoi will need to edit their query letter and go back to step 2

  5. if a zoi gets contacted by an agent, they’ll need to submit the book through the computer

  6. if the agent likes it, the zoi will get published. If not, they’ll need to edit the book and submit again.

Published books will earn a zoi a certain amount of daily royalties, with traditionally published books earning more, and royalties are tied to book quality and genre. The zois will get a daily payout for a week. A zoi may pay more meows to run a marketing campaign and thus extend the royalty payout time, though they’ll make less and less.

On rare occasions, a perfect quality published book may become a bestseller and earn a lot more royalties.

Of those bestsellers, there’s a chance that the zoi’s agent will contact them because someone wants to buy movie rights. If they accept, they’ll get a large payout and a week later, a movie with the same name as the book will be available in the theatre.

A literary agent only needs to be found once. After that, a zoi will only need to edit and submit the book to publish (and once a zoi has an agent, it opens up the door for them to traditionally publish bad quality books). 2/3

Could there be a possibility to use the original, pre-0.30 (pre-cahaya) UI in the future as an option ?

There have been a couple update to the UI since including the one in October.
Each time it makes part of the UI bigger or change a component. The pre-Cahaya or "slim" UI as I call it, had a slim emotion bar, a smaller round portrait, small "urges" bar with a white line that grew shorter the less time you had to complete it, no Zoi bubbles over their head, and had the infamous "Cat's eye" pointer. Now many of us loved that early design, and I dare say we would still chose it if we had the chance.

Since many love the new UI and the bigger things without having to "mouse over" each component, I do not want to deprive them of it, but it would be REALLY NICE if we could have the old one as an option !

Is that something that would be possible or are you already considering it?

I love the update. The venues I've checked so far had more people like the club and the farming supply store.
That was nice to see other people shopping.

I wished the NPC dressed up in costumes for Halloween. I had to manually dress some NPC through the add Zoi to venue feature. Please, next Halloween the random NPCS need to be dressed in Halloween costumes.
And the town in decorated with Halloween decor. Please for Christmas Decorate the whole city in Xmas decor if possible.

I tried the party feature for the first time. I wish it had a costume selection for dress code.

I wished it had a Halloween themed party event automatically happening at a park or the club and everyone dressed in costumes(Like the Shibuya Halloween Event).

Now that the writing skill is out of the way, here are a few more book related suggestions:

  • a better bookshelf system so it’s easier to sort books by genre

  • a brand new book store venue with a vast collection of books a zoi may buy. Likewise, traditionally published books may also appear there. Each city will have its own collection of books available for purchase. A book club could assign a weekly reading requirement and zois will need to buy the book and read it before the next meeting, where they'll discuss the book

  • traditionally published books will also appear in the library

  • Rare collectible books may be found around the world in treasure troves and on rare occasions drop when picking up a book in the AR library. You can either store them in Zoi’s bookshelf or sell them.

As closing notes, I would like to state that again, a lot of players LOVE collecting (I myself used to love collecting rare books in other, older life sim games to complete my home collection). Such a system would also work WONDERFULLY with the LLM you’re planning on implementing since it could generate a book description based on what the zois have been up to, beautifully combining AI with life simulations. It wouldn’t even require a substantial amount of work either since books have the exact same model and animations, and book covers can just be tied to genre. So I’m really hoping you might consider this 🙏. Such a system would allow for a deep and meaningful writer career, and it could even be tied with a fame system once it makes its way into the game.

Thank you so much for all your hard work so far. The latest update has given the game so many cool additions. I hope these holiday style events become an annual thing with new items each year. It would be cool to get more costumes next year or even have items celebrating other autumn holidays such as Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Oktoberfest, Diwali, Mooncake Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival), Chuseok and etc.

I can't wait to see what you'll have for us in December!

Actually im happy that it is coming out in these patches because like someone said it does keep the playerbase engaged aswell as i feel this october update showed me that you guys work really fast, im excited to see what the new updates hold!! Im interested in seeing of maybe we could get usable skincare and added hairbrushes/blow-dryers into the build mode? That would be great ❤️ty for ur hard work 🙂

also i noticed in game that a court was added, and a gas station would this ever become functional? It would be super interesting if the court was used during divorces etc could we possibly get the extreme apocalypse feature back? That would be great if so and the ability to have drinks at the bar (ive heard someone mention that bartenders are planned) i wonder if drinks could give zois an effect of they drink too much

I was sad for months that I could not make my zoi pass properly away but now I can thanks to this , and the interactions with the baby is amazing! If we could with the children too have some moments that are more closer I would be so happy !! I wonder if after December update , we could have a updated roadmap for January February?

October's update has been great. Its fun now going around places in the city that they're not empty anymore, and simulations in the city have improved so much. But I have few feedbacks about group activities, I think they still feels a bit underwhelming and I hope devs will put more depth to them in future.

  • I hope certain activities like bowling/basketball/etc can be played with more than 2 Zois (Maybe up to 4).
  • I would like to see Zois reacts more naturally, dynamic and realistic when doing group activities. Watching, cheering, booing, laughing, whining and randomize reactions based on their emotions. Not just clapping from start to end.
  • Maybe certain group activities can be watched and reacted by other Zois around. Just like turtle race, other Zois can watch the games.

Another suggestion is to add a "Challenge" interaction with a simple score system. They will play games like the billiards or bowling for multiple rounds instead of just once and done. It's more satisfying when activities are actually fun to watch, engaging and lasts as long as possible. I'm not sure if there are already better plans by the devs team, but I'm up for anything that will make group activities more interesting and fun.

  • Zoi with high logic skill or positive moods have higher chance of winning 🏆
  • Zoi with clumsy traits or negative moods have higher chance of losing ☠️

Here are some suggestions for what id love to have in the December update/future. id love: the ability to travel between cities without actually having to move there, the ability to control the weather for longer periods of time without it resorting back to the old weather. Nose, eye and lip presets. Skincare as there are already objects within the build mode but if they were functional that would make them even better! Ive already mentioned this alot but functional hairbrushes. Salons/barber shops with animations of the hairstylist washing hair etc. wasd for surfing, and a jump feature! More animations for talking within the car and a functional drive through for golden burger. And lastly this would probably be added later maybe, but functional a functional hospital, school, and court (maybe the court could be used for duvorces) and functional gas stations! Sorry that was alot but im pretty excited to see where this goes!

Thank you, Kjun! I hope you enjoyed the BTS Concert. 😍 I just want to say the inZOI October update is absolutely incredible! I can really tell that the developers have been paying close attention to player feedback, and every change feels intentional and player-focused. This update adds a ton of thoughtful details and quality-of-life improvements that make the game feel more alive than ever.

What’s especially cool is how it seems to draw inspiration from some fan-favorite packs and expansions: there are little touches that remind me of The Sims 4: Life and Death, Spooky Stuff, Paranormal Stuff, Lovestruck, Get Together, and even Bowling Night Stuff. It’s like the devs took the best parts of those experiences and made them feel fresh and uniquely inZOI.

I am happy to hear we will get Christmas decor! I would also love to have a option to hang Christmas lights on the outside of my Zois house. Another fun thing will be to add a option for Santa to bring toys to kids. As for group/family actions I really hope we get more group activities like watching tv together and for parents to have affectionate interactions like hugging. Would like seeing longer animations. I look forward to what December brings and understand it takes time to put all these features in, but I do hope we will see Christmas decor before Christmas starts in the game. I didn't get to decorate for Halloween till the holiday was over 🙁

I’m one of those players who are hoping for certain updates, like family gameplay and functional furniture that’s already in the game.
But I also want the devs to stay true to their vision. You can’t please everyone, people are asking for literally everything, from skincare to unicorns. I’m sure the devs had a genuine and fun vision for the game, and I don’t want them to lose that while trying to fulfill everyone’s wishes.
At this stage of Early Access, I think it’s important to focus on feedback that helps improve the core of the game, the rest can wait.
I'm sad to see that the orginal karma system was removed because of negative feedback and the original personality system was completely changed into something that looks more like The Sims... I loved the cirle, and loved the design. It probably just needed more depth to what was already there.

Kjun, thank you for your updates message. I'm collecting feedback for the Halloween update, and I'm glad to hear about smaller updates more often to avoid potential chain issues.

I can't give detailed feedback about the changes to personalities yet. I would've preferred more specific details about the changes before the influencer preview videos showed the changes. Especially with replacing 8 of the personality types rather than adding to the existing system. Removing the karma system blindsided me, so please share more information about such major changes beforehand, whenever possible. 🙏

It makes me feel we should write as much about what we like as what we want changed, or you might remove what we like because you don't know that it matters to us. Removing big things convinced me not to buy an Early Access game again, even though I've participated in several before.

New events: The dinner event was beautiful! Is it only for married couples, or can dating zois have the dinner event as well? I enjoyed being invited to a big dance party in Cahaya. I wasn't sure I'd be able to enjoy group dancing outside of Bliss Bay's nightclub, so I really appreciate it being available elsewhere.

Thanks for the change with textures. It means people can download things with custom textures and enjoy them, but cannot re-use and re-upload your textures. It protects creators while improving stability, so that's a double win.

I'm glad it's busier around town, but it doesn't feel right in all places. When I went to the cat temple, there were so many zois that it really didn't feel sacred. I had to queue up and wait for many other zois to burn incense and pray before my zoi could use the altar to burn incense, pray, and leave an offering. Please make it so that the temple and yoga locations still feel peaceful, if possible. They don't need to draw large crowds, I think. I would love to have the feeling of a sacred space in the temple again. 🙏

PS Christmas update sounds sweet!

Hi Kjun! Thank you for your message. As requested here are my personal thoughts on the stuff you are gonna focus on for the December update. I have copy pasted the keypoints and will shortly give my thoughts on each one.

store management -> If by this you mean looking into managing a store as a Zoi, I'd advise to look at Sims 2 Open for Business for inspiration. That expansion pack is still considered one of the best in the entire franchise, and I often miss it while playing the other installments or Inzoi. Especially the way you can level up sales skills, actively convince people to buy your stuff and basically sell any object in the game, whether from the buy catalog or something your Zois have crafted, really made it a fun endeavor to open up a store.

Christmas decorations -> I don't have any feedback on this, have at it!

A calendar system -> I'd like it if this included the birthdays of all zois you're friends with, with an opportunity to organize an event for them, or to text them happy birthday on the day they age up.

group actions -> Long, looping interactions are key here I think. I'd also like it if you could expand the fitness club event to other hobbies, like a painting club or a bookclub.

Multitasking -> I think we mostly just want zois to be able to talk to other zois while performing certain actions like doing an activity together or eating.

Family interactions -> Interactions and emotions that cater to sibling jealousy would set this game apart from other life sims, I'd love to see it. Also wondering how things are going with the family tree? I'd like it if Zois in a family could move out once grown up, but still be a part of the family tree, continuing their own little side branches while you keep playing the main household. However, with the limited amount of residential lots I do wonder how this would work properly.

Hi Kjun! So I’m already excited about all the possible activities and family interactions we could get! I would love if we could possibly get some fun winter activities/ sports such as snowball fights, building snowmen and igloos, ice skating, snowboarding, skiing, possibly hockey? Also I think a fun new skill to have would be sculpting ( particularly ice sculpting for this update)! I think something that would be really nice and festive is having a city Christmas tree lighting event. So each city would have a large decorated tree ( in different designs) and zois could gather to watch it get lit up on Christmas ( and to add realism there could be npc zois setting up the event over the span of 4-5 days leading up to Christmas ). There could be free family photos being taken, free hot chocolate/ candy canes or peppermints and maybe even small random gifts given to children. Or we could have Christmas events based on each city so the one I suggested would be for bliss bay and then you could have ones for Dowon and Cahaya.
So I know we can decorate the tree but I’d love to have an option where we can select a color scheme for it or at least have a color wheel for ornaments and being able to select what color lights we use for the tree. Having selectable ornaments, spray on fake snow and tinsel for the tree. Stackable present boxes of multiple sizes added in build mode. Stockings for the fireplace overall I think we should have the option to manually decorate our tree. And if this is added it could work this way:

buy a plain tree in build mode, then after clicking on the tree we get a list of decoration options: lights, tinsel, fake snow, ornaments and various tree toppers. When selecting any of the decorations a color wheel would pop up so we can manually pick each color/design for the specific decoration. I’d love to have the option to decorate gift boxes and stack them as well. I saw someone suggest being able to label presents so each zoi could open their own

Having Hanukkah and the option to not celebrate Christmas. I’d love to see icicles form on the edges of roofs and ice form on the ground ( making zois more prone to slipping). Layered snow and blizzards perhaps? An interaction to give gifts to coworkers or students that our zois are friends with would be nice as well. I’d love to see more desserts so I looked some up: Cinnamon punch, sweet rice drink, half moon rice cakes, Dasik, sweet red bean porridge, poached pears( which we could also have in the description for it that it works for coughs and sore throats). Yakgwa, sweet rice cakes, Yeot, Iced Hongsi. But anyway thank you in advance for whatever is going to be in the update and I hope you get some good restKjun_Heart text_ThankYou

I wish to add my perspective on the writing suggestions made.

It is common advice to writers, musicians, and artists to create what you know. It helps when you're just getting started creating, because it can add authenticity that can make up for the lack of writing experience in earlier works.

However, creative people are never confined by the life they've lived.

If authors only write what they know, there wouldn't be science fiction, post-apocalyptic, fantasy, etc. Authors research just about everything for the project they're working on. We buy books on all kinds of topics, such as body language, anatomy, chemistry, crime scene analysis, etc. The amount of research can even exceed the perceived importance of the element the author wants to study before writing!

That's why I enjoy inZOI book writing being connected to Critical Thinking. 👍

Of course, creativity plays a huge role, but there are many types of creativity and forms of creative expression in the game (music, painting, etc.), and the game doesn't have a Creativity skill. Quality is tied to experience with the skill used alongside creativity—art for painters, instrument for musicians, critical thinking for writers.

For me, the Critical Thinking requirement perfectly represents the research aspect required for all forms of writing and the skill it takes to write. It would be fun to expand our author zoi's Critical Thinking reference book list, or subscribe to a magazine for Authors that takes hours to fully read through... (Hey! Yeah, I'd like to have books that take longer to read and are more fun, such as novels and books written by our zois, and they would need a bookmark. But that's a whole other point! 😅 )

I view Essay as Non-fiction, and people research to write Essays and Non-fiction. They might include personal experience, but it shouldn't be limited to that. I want to roleplay my zoi writing non-fiction about something that's not in the game.

I'll start with my feedback and wishes. 🙂
Thank you for adding the "Edit Properties" feature in map mode. I really missed that.
Regarding editing properties, I have a wish: I edit a lot of public properties, and every time there's an update, the changes I've made disappear and I have to restore them. I saved them as "default buildings," but every time the buildable space changes a bit, and I have to readjust them. It would be nice if this didn't happen.
The biggest problem is with the Bliss Bay school, because if I save the changes to the surrounding environment as a "default building" and then install it, the school no longer works: either the kids don't go, or if they do go, they're not there, and homework isn't assigned.
I know it's a minor issue, but being able to build my own world is very important to me.

I LOVE these. I wish to add that I want to keep/have a choice to keep a household copy of the books written by household members. Perhaps a unique bookshelf would work? It could include title, author, book type, and description for all the books completed.

I roleplay my favourite zoi as an expert in something that's not in the game (he's a shaman). I have him write essays whenever he's not doing other shaman-tasks I gave him. It always begins with "Introduction to Shamanism," then followed by every subject and study on specific spirit animals, songs that include hidden knowledge, etc.

This is just me. It's fun for me to make stuff up like that, and have family knowledge, wisdom, history, etc. passed down through the books our zois write (even if they are not published).

I love all the ideas of getting the books published by a publisher, or choosing self publishing. It would be nice for both to have a chance to become bestsellers. If an author's book doesn't end up in the library automatically, it would be nice to be able to donate the book to the community reading program, or something like that.

It would be fun if our zois could purchase copies of their books (regardless of how they are published), and sell them as autographed at the sales booth. The zoi running the sale could set the price however they wish, like with tools we craft, etc.

That way, a zoi could write a book and charge more for it, to represent the author's perceived value of the content. It would be fun to see if other zois are interested enough in the genre and autographed book that they'd pay a higher price for it. 😎

More ways to earn money as self-employed zois is a lot of fun. 😊

Also, could we please have zois apply on the computer to be registered as self-employed? 🙏 It would be nicer than unemployed when they work hard, and most NPCs being unemployed. Maybe they have to earn a basic amount weekly? Just a thought.

Hey Kjun! I feel like the adult faces in inZOI look a bit too aged for what I'd expect. Shouldn't adults around 30 years old appear a little younger? I think the current face models would work better for middle-aged characters, but regular adults could use a fresher, more youthful look.

게임을 하든 운동을 하든 어떤 상호작용을 할때 왜 이렇게 금방 하고 끝내나요? 이거 예전부터 나왔던 지적인데 아직도 안고쳐졌네요.. 제발 좀 고쳐주세요.. 몰입감을 너무 해쳐요. 그냥 유저가 X버튼눌러서 그만하라고 할때까지 모션이 계속 지속이 되도록 고쳐주세요. 그리고 친구를 집으로 부를때, 전화로 초대해서 손님이 와서 초인종누르고 인사하면서 맞이하고 정식으로 방문하는 모습이 연출되도록 시스템을 고쳐주세요. 그냥 '여기로 부르기'를 눌러서 오게 하는건 너무 몰입감을 해치네요.

I think life stages should be renamed.

👩 Young Adult would be better if called Adult, I think.
👱‍♀️ Adult would be better as Middle-Aged because it's how they appear, and the length of the stage makes sense for Middle-aged too.
👩‍🦳 Middle-aged would be better as Seniors because they look quite aged but able to do many things in life, and the length of the stage makes sense.
🧓 Seniors should be Elderly or Elders to reflect their great age and the short time remaining in their natural lifespan.

I would like if Elderly/Elder life stage would have a hidden timeframe (days remaining shown as ??? on the zoi card). It could be randomly assigned. If possible, it would be neat if the way a zoi lived (diet and exercise) influenced the number of days for the last stage. There could be a base number of days with bonuses for healthy eating and exercising habits, managed stress with meditation, high life satisfaction "score," and also karma (if it's restored to suit all play styles, as in a player could play as a "dark demigod" and reward low karma, so low karma would add a bonus day for that save, but play a "light demigod" in another game and reward high karma).

Since the topic of older Zois’ appearance came up 👵👴, I’d like to ask about toddler Zois 👶.
I know their appearance is planned to change ✨, but I wanted to point out something about the anatomy of toddlers, specifically the butt and belly area. 🍑

In the game, toddlers have small, narrow bottoms and flat bellies.
In real life, actual toddlers have bigger bottoms because they wear diapers, and their bellies should be more rounded. 🍼💛
I’m also attaching images for anatomical comparison. 📸

Will the toddler update be ready in December, or is it something planned for a later update, with no confirmed release date yet? 🗓️❓

The reflections of lights on wet streets… it looks so atmospheric ✨ — something that inZOI is currently missing during rain. The wet roads in inZOI look gray and dull instead of lively and shiny.

Those little sparkling reflections on wet streets even remind me of Christmas time 🎄 — when cities are full of lights and decorations shining through the rain. What do you think? 🌃💫

Second wish.
Something needs to be done about the training camps at Bliss Bay. 😆
Teens already spend a lot of time at school, I don't know if that's the case in Korea. In Italy, they finish almost every day around 2 pm.
Training camps have the problem that they can't be replaced by other commitments, and even if you cancel them, they come back. It's boring having to cancel them every Zoi-day.
It would also be nice if the Zoi didn't put their laptops in their bags on their own.
To avoid wasting time during the camps, I set up an outdoor study area outside the school and placed the laptops on the desk for greater credibility, but the Zoi kept putting them in their bags. 😀

Some have mentioned that inzoi should focus on large parts of the game in order to make the game better. And while i agree that they should that also doesn't mean they cant focus on other aspects. Skincare is already in the game making it functional doesn't mean that its going to halt other upgrades in the game or that other upgrades would "cease to exist" this update showed that they CAN work on larger functions like funerals crowd system really BIG things while also focusing on smaller details like blow-drying and having zois spit out toothpaste after they finish brushing theyre teeth

Dear kjun, im reading over this response and you've specifically mentioned a new store managment system (which I definitely cant wait to hear more about) more than once, and also something about instanced lots in previous posts. Does it mean that malls could be a possibility in the future? And maybe even hotels in each city once travel has been perfected so our zois could stay in them while travelling around?

hi Kjun, just a small bit of feedback regarding the family dynamics. Can parents not automatically (unless it is a part of their traits/values) drop everything you just queued up for them to go help with the baby. It makes it very micromanage-y and hard to accomplish tasks when the Zoi keeps dropping what you told them to do what they want. I understand I could turn autonomy off for my zois, but I like it on. I feel this update did something in that parents will literally not do anything but care for their baby/toddler. This is fine for a Zoi with specific traits/values (such as Love) but every Zoi just becomes annoying. Please make it so only Zois with certain traits or values will drop everything to help babies. Other Zois you will have to queue to help.

At first I'd wondered why my Zois looked less realistic, with their hair looking like it was painted on, and light shining through their eyes and mouths. Then when I checked my settings, it had reset options to low, after update. So once I'd reset to high or ultra, it's nice and clear again 😀
It would be great to have all age groups in CAZ, as I have aging turned off, so I like to create a new family through CAZ. Please have babies, older toddlers, child, preteen, teenager, young adult, adult, older adult, senior in CAZ 🙏🏼 thanks! ❤️
Also could camera mode be a bit easier to put on lower height, as it's quite difficult to put it on eye level height, for realistic photos, as if taken by another Zoi, rather than a drone.

So this update was supposed to have benefitted from optimization? Before this update I was getting 60 fps I had it set to max 60 fps and it was rock solid 60 fps all the time. Now I only get between 20 and 30 fps, I was getting the 60 fps in medium settings with some custom settings at high. What have they done to this game that made such a drastic difference? This was without frame gen. I don't consider my pc to be low end I have a ryzen 7 5600x and a rx 6600 graphics card and msi reports Between 70 and 99% GPU usage and cpu of 28%. I'm really disappointed.

Kjun, since family and family interactions are being improved, would it be possible to add an option where multiple Zois can take a walk hand in hand? — for example:
👨‍👩‍👧 a mother, father, and child walking together in the park
👵👦 a grandparent with a grandchild
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏽 or two lovers strolling romantically along the beach at sunset, sharing loving glances 💖

These little moments of connection would make daily life feel even more emotional, warm, and realistic. 🥹🙏🏻

I would like to talk about the trait system that was implemented.
Would it be possible to have specific traits that relate to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents?
This could look like:
Infant Traits: easygoing, fussy, squirmy, independent, and so on.
Toddlers: Charmer, talkative, easygoing, wild, independent, creative, and so on.
I would also like to see traits added with each life stage.
Infants start with one trait, Toddlers get two, children have three, adolescents have four, teens get five, and young adults get six. With six traits being the max?
This helps each Zoi feel different from the next.
Right now, two traits just feels inadequate. I know more traits will be added in the future and I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
I would also say that some traits should be inherited from parents and grandparents, and some traits we the player, can choose.
I can’t wait for the December update it sounds like you guys have been working really hard.

Hi Kjun, could we please have a new category for hats - "costume hats"? Ideal for events like Halloween and Christmas, these types of hats could be worn outdoors and indoors. Regular hats should be worn outdoors only. Maybe we could have an option, as with footwear, to remove hats indoors and only wear outdoors? Costume could be worn indoors and outdoors.

I get people want more zois hanging about and interacting with their zois but I find it annoying when zois keep interrupting the conversation my zoi is having with another zoi. Please add a way to prevent other zois from joining into a conversation. Perhaps when groups are added, if I add someone to my group then my zoi can exclusively interact with the zoi(s) in their group without interruption from other zois?

Thanks for all your hard work on the update, Kjun - I can see you and the team have put an incredible amount of work into it. There’s a lot more new stuff and changes than I was expecting, honestly. Some thoughts after playing for a couple of days:

  • I’m really liking what I’ve seen of the personality changes so far, and I can already see a difference in terms of making Zois feel distinct from each other. I’m hoping to see these features developed and expanded even more in the December update. For those who aren’t so keen on the addition of traits, it would be nice if they could be made optional, or at least add some more to give people more of a choice.
  • Needs work great with the 96-minute day, so thanks for that! I still think this should have been kept as the default, as I’ve seen many people complain that their Zois are always hungry / sleepy with the 48-min day.
  • Ghost play is more fun than I expected. I actually like the fact that ghosts have limited time to achieve their goals, and only limited interaction with the world of the living. It would be nice to see more quests (perhaps randomised for each ghost), more topics of conversation with other ghosts and with the few Zois who can see you, and maybe some special interactions with the ghost’s previous family, and with animals. Also, please give them different voices from living Zois!

Regarding karma, I see some of the ghost text still mentions karma from their previous life affecting their afterlife, so I assume karma scores are coming back in some form. If so, I have some suggestions:

  • Don’t make players manage karma for the whole city; it should be an individual thing for each Zoi.
  • Don’t make the game scold or punish Zois for having low karma levels. Many people enjoy playing evil or criminal Zois.
    = Don’t lock interactions behind a high or low karma score. Find other ways to make karma matter to normal gameplay, such as changing a Zoi’s luck or other Zois’ reactions.

I mentioned it before (in relationship feedback/Halloween discussion), since Kjun is no longer looking at those channels, I will say it here again (I hope y'all don't mind), but I'd love "idle" animations for couples/friends/family members. I feel it will make our characters feel more alive and immersive. So instead of staring into space oddly when doing nothing, they can enter these states when idle for too long (in order for these shared idle states to trigger a zoi has to be present).

Couples: one zoi leans head against shoulder, playing with other partner's hand/ends of hair, leaning in closer, stare of adoration. When sitting one zoi can have their leg over their partner, etc.

Friends/sibling: brushing hair strand away from face, lean in closer, fold arms and observe friend casually.

Parent/child: child fiddling at the ends of parents clothes, child looking up at smiling at parent, parent patting the child's head.

And please consider AI adjusting to player's gameplay style/habits/routine built within the household so when playing with a different household, we can see AI simulate their dynamics and routines. This will help bring our stories to life, create continuity, and helps "control" (not entirely but significantly) unwanted decisions when not playing them.

As for family gameplay:

  • Family nights: Karaoke, watch movie, functional gameboard/card nights, etc.

  • Curfew for children and teens with a grounding system

  • Maybe add separate bank accounts if we choose to (joint account will always be default), so we can give children/teens allowance.

  • Memory system. So let's say, zoi mom hums child to sleep, they will feel nostalgia of mother's voice when they miss them. It can trigger a thought bubble, "my mom used to hum me this song when I had nightmares."

  • Functional photo album that we can decorate and add notes. Zois have access to it and can reminisce when looking through them.

first off, i just want to say thank you all for all the work you’re doing on the game. its really impressive, and i can tell a lot of thought and detail goes into it.

that being said, there’s one thing i’ve been thinking about lately. i’ve noticed that every Zoi seems to have a phone by default. and honestly… when i’m trying to play my game based in a different era i’m not sure how i feel about that.

the thing is, i usually set my game in older time periods—sometimes the 1980s, sometimes even earlier—and back then, obviously, mobile phones weren’t part of daily life. so when every character is walking around with one, it sort of breaks the immersion for me. the vibe just doesn’t match.

i’m not saying the phones aren’t useful or cool. and i’m not saying you should remove them. for modern settings, they totally make sense. but I do wish there was a way to turn them off—or maybe even swap them for something era—appropriate. i’m not exactly sure what that alternative would be (maybe just no device at all?), but having that kind of flexibility would mean a lot for players like me who enjoy building stories in different time periods.

i don’t know if this would be harder to develop, but if we could choose what kind of electronics we want in our world/save file, (for example—toggling off modern computers if we aim for an older-era based gameplay like the 80s) it’d match the vibe of our world ingame and wouldn’t break the immersion, making our gameplay more enjoyable :))

i don’t like the idea of every zoi having a phone either, even if it IS era appropriate. i wish we could choose if our zoi has a phone or not in CAZ. everyone having a mobile phone in the town is weird too, for example if a homeless zoi had a phone it wouldn’t be very realistic.

anyways, just wanted to put that out there. thanks again for everything you’re creating. i’m excited to see where the game goes from here.

Overall I think this update is pretty awesome and one of the best I've seen for gameplay/quality of life. I can see a really good start to both parent/child, infant/toddler and social group interactions...feels more complete and immersive than before. I think best trick or treat I've seen in a Lifesim game (sims 3 generations kinda of had the idea but this is better) I still think biggest missing features are ease with travel as a group about town (see above thread) and customizability of toddlers/infants who really need some hair and clothing and no teeth for babies. It would be nice if the group activities feature as extended a bit so if a family, date, friend group goes out together they travel from venue to venue, will share vehicles or carpool esaily etc. I also agree some interactions (e.g. playing on playground stuff, games like ball need to be longer) and I wish this update would bring back ability to make custom textures for children clothing under My Texture as patterned clothing is more for kids than adults which tend to do mostly solid clothes. I haven't noticed major bugs other than one graphically corrupt file where reloading at an earlier point helped it. I tend to only play on the weekends as my RL is quite busy. I likely won't get a ton of time to play again until the holidays (education field). I like all lifesim games...but Inzoi is my current favorite, especially since the last update...but still play TS4 from time to time and will probably try Paralives. However, what I like about Inzoi compared to cometetitors is both the realism and the slower pace/seems more a lived in world of creating your own story/destination versus wracking up points/goals. The cat/karma story makes a good backstory for some cute lore but doesn't take over and distract.

This is an interactive mod for sims 4 that allows two sims to ride a bike while talking. It will have small animation loops while they bike around the area (they will snuggle, lean back, look around as they converse with small beats of silence). This made me feel like I was watching a drama (there are 4 different ways to ride this bike: scenic - the first pic, intimate - the second pic, casual, and intimate risky - 3rd pic. Two options for any type of relationship and two for romantic). If listening to music on their phones are added, this will elevate the moment so much! It felt like I was watching a movie bloom right before my eyes. Since we are able to ride mopeds together and with the multi-tasking being worked on, I think this will add a cute way for friends/family/couples to do as group activities. Maybe we can even have an option to jog together too!

I'm aware that we can drive around ourselves, and having conversations will probably be prompted by player or AI, but I think creating the option to "bike here together - talk mode" allows us to experience a cinematic moment with our zois if we choose to ❤.

Regarding the Halloween trick or treat event, in a future update can it be possible that we can see more children trick or treaters instead of just one per event? Also once we give them candy or see them out, the child actually leaves instead of staying in the house?

Lastly, can there be animations/interactions for **‘trick’ **if a child doesn’t get candy (treat)? Such as throwing a pumpkin smoke bomb at the adult zoi, throwing a pie at a zoi face, setting pop crackers off or etc?

But there should be a way to disable these "missions" because I can't stand them; they're the exact opposite of what I want from a simulation game.
So yes, they'd probably be very useful to please a certain segment of the audience, but they're absolutely optional, meaning you wouldn't see pop-ups with missions, etc., but you could** disable them completely.**

When I'm on someone's creation, I would prefer if the recommended creations displayed are by the same creator. One person makes a lot of amazing zois, and I want to see more of their zois when I'm looking at one because I like that creator's style.

I have really appreciated all the other Canvas changes, but there's information on uploads that isn't clear, and it could be a translation issue.

All my own creations have no mods, and the description includes this:

Mod Info

Official mod not included.

And creations that have mods include information about those mods.

However, "Official mod not included." sounds like there is a mod and it's not included. It would help if it said, "No mod detected."

I hope the Canvas website can detect when non-official mods are included. 🤞

I love the update but the main issue I’ve had for awhile and still have now is that certain sections of the beach aren’t selectable through map view or the schedule editing list of places (the parts of the beach by the water and the outdoor gym)… these areas were accessible in earlier versions of the game but I noticed at some point awhile ago they were removed and can only be accessed by manually walking your Zoi there… and a very big issue for me is that non household members don’t stay seated in the cars when you pick them up😭… they will immediately exit after sitting unless you drive off with no stopping bc if you stop the car at any point they will get out… hoping some attention is brought to this issue at least by December but seeing that I’ve had this concern and brought it to different forums some time ago and it still hasn’t been addressed in any of the “known issues” I’m still waiting for others to at least give their input in testing this issue bc everyone I’ve personally asked have also said it just doesn’t work?? So I’m assuming people just don’t care if they can’t pickup non household members in their cars😂😭, lol anyways thanks InZoi I hope eventually you look into this issue it seems like an easy to fix bc it’s already in the game, just some technical issues with them❤️

Hey Kjun! For this particular interaction, I think it would be much better if it could be performed directly and also added to autonomous actions. Right now, every time I want to use it, I have to select the chair first and then find the option in the menu — feels like too many steps and gets kind of tedious.

Being able to ride vehicles or bikes together, chat, and have romantic interactions while moving would make the experience feel so much more real.

Even something simple like holding hands while walking together would be a huge breakthrough for the genre — it’s small, but emotionally powerful.

I can’t wait to see Kjun and the team bring these features to life! It would open up endless creative moments — we could even recreate scenes from K-dramas inside the game❤️

The character creation already looks like it came straight out of a K-idol world! Add those features and it’ll be totally purrfect! 💫💞

Hey Kjun! I think it would be great if both Zois and NPCs could autonomously propose and develop relationships naturally on their own. It would feel more organic and engaging!

Also, I've noticed the seasonal weather isn't very noticeable besides snow in winter. When I play, it rarely ever rains — it's pretty much just sunny all the time. It would be nice to see more variety in the weather throughout the year!

I think the Smart Zoi feature needs some optimization. After turning it on, I've noticed that the behaviors of checking themselves in the mirror and cleaning the streets are far too frequent. These actions happen regardless of the Zoi's personality or their current location.

I’m honestly shocked by the huge amount of positive changes in the game since its first release up to the October update!
I truly can’t thank you enough — you are amazing developers.

I’ve been completely immersed in the game for two straight days and just can’t stop exploring!
I loved the family messages, and how neighbors send dinner invitations to each other’s houses, or invitations to the nightclub on weekends, or to gatherings at a friend’s home — it’s absolutely wonderful!

I also noticed that when my character showers, they use a hairdryer afterward to dry their hair — ahh, I can’t even describe how beautiful that detail is!

And as for the funeral feature, it’s truly touching and such a remarkable addition.
I salute you for your incredible work — you’ve proven that you truly want to create a special game, not just one that’s developed based on the developers’ whims.

You actually take our ideas and turn them into real improvements.
You are truly amazing, and I wish other developers would learn from you — some games have been out for 12 years and still haven’t reached what you achieved in just seven months!

I love this so much! I think if we had love languages and attachment styles, no relationship would feel the same. Typically in life sims, getting a significant other or a friend is a matter of quantity instead of quiality; spamming positive interactions of any kind usually does the trick. But with this proposition, both friendships, family relationships and romantic relationship would come to life and have their uniqueness! I would also love if certain memories and things that happen in zois' life when they are childen and teenagers affected what attachment style they get when growing up! Since we are getting memories kind of soon, I think it would be feasible! I just love this idea so much haha ❤️

I stand by every word of this kind of post. The only thing I need to stay interested in this game is the preservation of the original design within all this variety. I’m waiting until the end of EA for the implementation of the original USP and after that the things that deepen the positions

So first and foremost, I want to support the posts about:

  1. Refining and restoring the Karma system (fine, just for a single household or selected Zois), so that Ghost Play becomes what it was originally meant to be: restoration of missing Karma Points from during life to leave the Mortal World and earn the right to reincarnate. This would bring more of that metaphysical edge bordering realism, and let to pay closer attention to Korean culture – Chuseok, etc.

  2. Refining and restoring the personality circle, linked to the very first dynamic and progressive Big Five (OCEAN) across all life stages, where true 5 temperaments Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism were added at each life stage. (where Psycat was lying on the notebook labeled ”Who am I?” and ”Choose 5 temperaments” with life stage icons.)
    Through the development of these temperaments, offer compatible or block incompatible Enneagram motivations. Also, you can keep new Quirks/Traits, and the “temperaments” like Outlaw and Troublemaker without replacing the originals.

  3. The option to choose the original HUD with the compact portrait, emotion bars (it was slick and modern, and many people liked it), and Cat-Eye pointer
    Reduce on-screen UI clutter, esp. other Zoi’s bubbles (inner thoughts) the player shouldn’t see unless they’ve eavesdropped or asked

  4. Refining and restoring the Memory System with a filmstrip of memories that was a super immersive pre-EA element

  5. Refining City Stability / City Edit, which would later allow us to manage city conditions such as Control Environment /Run-Down, City Safety, and configure either a utopia, or a dystopia

What if Zois could interact through windows and balconies? 🪟💬

For example, it would be so heartwarming if they could wave or call out to someone from a balcony, or react when someone is looking at them from a window. It would make the world feel so much more alive and realistic!
Teen Zois could have adorable or even funny moments with this — like when a teenage girl waits for her boyfriend, she could watch for him through the window, wave, or talk to him secretly. 💞 If she’s grounded, she could chat with her friends or boyfriend from the window… or sneak out, jump on his motorcycle, and ride away together! 🏍️✨
And maybe sometimes — just like in old romantic movies — the boyfriend could even throw a small stone at her window to get her attention. 💫💎
This would fit perfectly with the 70s/80s-inspired themes — just like in old romantic or rebellious youth movies from that era. 🎞️🌆

Would it be possible to consider something like this in the future? 💖

I understand these updates take time, but thought I'd maybe ask if in one of the "smaller" updates before your end of December major update, if you could just provide some of the Christmas material a couple weeks before Christmas 🎄 That way it's an exciting lead up to real life Christmas. Even if it's just Christmas lights on the house and a tree with presents. 🎁

I was thinking that they can add "enjoy company" interaction where one zoi naps on the other zoi's shoulders, and the one who is awake can give them loving glances and fix the resting zoi's hair as an idle movement. Or they can simply have that interaction while doing something entirely like sitting down and touching their phones.

When another zoi cooks, they can cuddle from behind. They can also consider creating "cooking together", "garden together", "do chores together" as options as well. I think it will be great for family/couples!

  • Give us the ability to kiss the sleeping zoi's forehead or cheeks (its only available if they are family or have good romance bar).

And so many more! Devs should invest in small details because thats what makes zois look and feel alive. They need to be more context aware, and shouldn't skimp out on "realistic" animations.

Edit: And by realistic animations I meant, they should open a drawer to take out a spatula instead of spawning in their hands, or turning on the faucet to shower/bathe, etc. What makes the game feel immersive and real is the "in-betweens" that bridges the bigger things. We can have wedding venues, funerals, burglars, a beach, a nightclub, driveable cars but the smaller details are what brings the big things to life. Like a painting, big things are the whole picture, but the way the light touches the leaves and the nuances of colors are what brings the whole painting together.

this is also how i feel about adding skincare too!! For some people it might seem so minimal but adding these like usable objects makes the game feel so much alive. Someone also mentioned on here the ability to brush your child zois hair when they wake up from school and i think that would be really cute!! Or just having the ability to have a usable hairbrush in build mode thats functional! I really like your ideas for the animation though it would make the game feel so much more immersive ❤️

I agree. We have cars but we constantly ask for features like parking(without the car disappearing), a mini map, and a radio— small things that make driving enjoyable. Some players want to see their zois enter police cars instead of spawning in jail because it feels more immersive. We also preferred the car crash animation over the clock pop-up. Even the speeding meter (small detail btw), received a positive response. These are the small details within the bigger things.

Imo, the devs should focus on enhancing the personality/multi-tasking system and improving AI, while adding these small immersive touches. That's why the game feels big but feels like something is missing. Sometimes too many big features can feel overwhelming or paradoxically, feel underwhelming. Even the ability to decorate our Phone UI/colors and family tree, buying car parts, idle animations and functional items give players agency and connection to their zois and world. I even recall people getting excited about a functional blender in the sims 4. So wanting something small as functional skin care isn't a big ask at all. I think its about finding the balance between working on big elements while sprinkling in these small details.

Dear Kjun and Krafton Team, please check the implementation of mods. The “Sync your Mods” window isn't working properly. I've subscribed to some mods on Curseforge, and they don't appear in the “Sync your Mods” window. Furthermore, given the current configuration of that window, if you press the “Continue” button, it uninstalls all the mods you have, which is absurd. Apart from that, sometimes when you open the game and load a saved game, a pop-up window opens warning you that certain mods could not be applied (I guess because they need to be updated), but other times that warning window does not appear, and as soon as the saved game loads, the game crashes, so it is not at all clear which mods are working correctly and which ones will cause a CTD. Since you allow installing mods in-game, I think you should pay attention to this issue. Thank you very much.

Just a few suggestions for graves: I would love to have an option for zoi to talk to their loved one about how their life has been and the option to leave flowers ( and have them wilt over time so when we next visit their grave we can replace them), the ability to have inscriptions and family crypts ( for families of 4 or more). I haven’t had a zoi die yet so I can’t speak on funerals yet but I do think a nice touch would be to have family members that don’t live in the same household and friends bring over food to the passed zois family.

Unrelated but there are some things I’d love to see made functional or tweaked a bit. So for starters for the amusement park I’d love to see the duck target game made functional, the train ride and the bumper cars. I’d also like to see it expanded with more rides and activities like the pendolo, the wave swinger, maybe even some water rides. Some fun activities could be bottle ring toss, water balloon darts, dunk tanks and since we have water guns I think that would be really fun to make the water gun game from. I’d love to see the restaurants around become functional too☺️.
Not related to either topic I’d love for the Photo Booth to give us the prints and even have 2 zois allowed and maybe a bigger one for 3-4 zois. I’d love for the pictures we take with other zois be able to be printed too, like maybe there could be an interaction where our zoi takes the photo and then connects to the printer to print them or can hook their phone up to the computer and then print from there.

Can we get a favorites and collection section in Caz and build mode? So that if there are items we use often we can favorite them and they can be found in our collection. Also we can organize our collections as we please, adding more folders and moving items into them? Something to think about. I think one of the sims games had something similar (I can't remember if it was sims 2 or 3). I would just like a faster way to find items I use often, even if it's just a favorites filter

Here are some things I hope to see improved in the future:
1. Mirrors – they don’t clearly reflect my Zoi character’s appearance. I hope reflections become more realistic and detailed.
2. Laundry System – I wish there were a laundry basket at home, and that one household member could wash everyone’s clothes together.
3. Family Mealtime System – I’d love to have the option to call everyone to eat together, with more shared dishes and family-style cooking.
4. Family Car Rides – it would be amazing if I could call my entire family to get into the car all at once.
5. Restaurant System – I wish there were an option to reserve a table for my family or friends.
I don’t want to share a table with random people while eating 🥲

6.    Tanning System – it would be great if I could get a tan by lying near the beach.
7.    Career Progression – I hope there are more career promotions and better ways to earn enough money.
8.    Work System Balance – right now, earning money feels too hard; it’s only three workdays a week, and it’s difficult to make enough income.
9.    Weight Gain System – I didn’t notice any weight gain when eating unhealthy food or skipping exercise. I hope that’s added in the future.

The calendar system should reflect where we live in Inzoi. Dowon is Korea (so no proms there, maybe follow korean traditions like sports day, spring festival, Chuseok, etc). In Bliss Bay (inspired LA/venice beach) we can have American traditions and events and Cayaha (Indonesia) can have their own traditions like community market week, and Galugan festival, etc on the calendars. By doing this, it can give us reasons to visit other cities and see what it has to offer and experience different holidays. Now it truly feels like we are traveling! This also helps make the cities feel different and not a copy and paste world.

  • The calendar can also be customizable by giving us the option to filter Holidays (what we want to have or not have in our gameplays).

  • Have the ability to create our own traditions/holidays, create a name and choose an icon, even the length of the Holiday. Let players schedule personal events like anniversary, reunion, celebrating milestones in addition to city events.

  • It can also be used as a planning tool rather than a driven mechanic for those that prefer a cozier and peaceful gameplay. So, planning tools to mark upcoming events.

  • When its a Holiday, allow it to influence NPC behavior and town decorations. So its tied to gameplay and impacts economy and less of a visual system. So lets say its Christmas eve, stores close early, people head home early from work or travel to other regions for family holidays, etc.

  • Each Calendar's aesthetic is based on the region we are in. So for Bliss Bay there can be palm trees and city skyline. Dowon can have Hibiscus and calligraphy while Cahaya can have temples and cats.

I loved the update but I hope you would develop more the karma system because it's what made inzoi unique. I know you got a lot of negative feedback on the karma system but I really enjoyed it and was hoping it would get more advanced and developed during the early access rather than just tuning it down.

I love the enneagram system and feel it accurately captures how people view and interact with the world. The recent changes introducing Outlaw and Rulebreaker seem to be veering away from that system though into a muddled mess of something else.
I get that people want edgy non-conformist options, but that's already built into the Enneagram through the various stages of health. The Visionary Individualist will turn into a melodramatic drama queen when their needs aren't met. The Romantic Helper becomes irrational and explosive, paranoid and completely shut off from reason. The Pacifist Idealist can't be motivated to do anything, it's like pulling teeth trying to get a response. The Explorer Intellectual sends barbs and nasty jokes that are shockingly cruel.
The darker side is already built in. When you replace the Helper with a Recluse you miss out on one of the best types who is emotionally needy, running around trying to care for everyone else until they run out of steam. If you want a recluse look at the Intellectual or the Pacifist. They're the ones who can lock themselves away and forget about the world.
Rather than changing what the core types are add a slider that can move between their lighter and darker sides. If Zois don't get their relational needs met, if they're financially stressed, get too far out of their comfort zone, etc then let them slide over to the darker side and burn down the world.
There's also a lot of potential for adding in Erikson's stages of development. If an infant cries and no one responds they fail trust vs mistrust and their enneagram personality swings to the darker side.

I agree! The game should be challenging and offer meaningful rewards for my Zoi. Money is one thing, but karma is another. It would be great if karma could build up gradually through meaningful actions, like helping other Zois around the city or visiting different buildings. It shouldn’t be easy to just spam interactions to raise karma.

After many days of hard work, when a Zoi has achieved good karma, other Zois should show more respect toward them. It could become a little easier to build relationships, get a better job, or even earn a raise. On the other hand, with bad karma, it might be easier to get away with things like stealing or breaking rules.

There should also be more creative ways to earn money by developing specific skills over time. For example, if your Zoi becomes highly skilled in music, they could perform concerts on certain days of the week. Or, if they’re talented in painting, they could sell their artwork at the city market, which might only open on Sundays. With a very high skill level, their paintings could even be displayed in a gallery for extra income. These opportunities shouldn’t be available every day, maybe just once or twice a year to make them feel special and rewarding.

I think features like these would really motivate players to keep coming back, much more than just adding cute couple animations...

This looks interesting but also complicated. It seems like the devs felt they had to simplify it a lot to get something that players would actually understand, and ended up over-simplifying it to the point where the types barely felt any different from each other, hence the addition of traits. I'm not really sure how to deal with this, as I like the idea of having a unifying theory behind the personality system, but we have to be realistic that most players don't want to read a textbook to understand how their Zois' personalities work. I also have to admit that I find the new types and the addition of traits to be a big improvement in terms of gameplay, if not philosophy.

As for UI changes: I didn't play the game until the August update, so I'm fairly neutral on this. However I can see how giving options to use the old UI could quickly get complicated, with every player preferring a different version from a specific update. Perhaps the solution is to make the current UI elements more customisable, in terms of skins etc. and the ability to view/resize/hide them easily? The one request I would make personally is to please stop the 'Escape' button automatically closing the Needs window - I like to have it open all the time, but I keep closing it by accident and it's really annoying.

i do love this update a lot. I think Inzoi can really make the holiday events like halloween and christmas unique. so maybe the city changes decorations for each event

I remember how it was framed by inZOI Partner boringbones (and I generally agreed with that take, which also received quite a bit of support overall.)

Answering your question above: The coherence and consistency of all interconnected mechanics, working in perfect harmony together – that is what will make inZOI amazing and different. TS4 has a variety of mechanics and systems that overlap and don’t work well together. This is where inZOI can shine. The only thing inZOI needs to do is: Execute everything it set out to do accurately and correctly.
The core issue with these kinds of games is that certain characteristics get layered on top through patches or DLCs, or awkwardly attached to the side, that makes it hard to interconnect them meaningfully. But if you integrate a 3D personality model from the very beginning, based on a well-established system, including, as mentioned here, growth, progression, stress, conflict resolution, attraction/chemistry, you cover all player needs, regardless of DLC themes or individual preferences. Players can embody highly theatrical, exaggerated personas or play in a more neutral tone, both would be supported organically.

Sure, game design doesn’t have to be too complicated, but a simple model that stays the same regardless of life stage or experience isn’t ok either. That initial wow-effect, when everything feels vibrant and in full bloom, is ok, but it fades too.

I have request regarding family activities and interactions — sorry for my curiosity, but the world of InZoi means a lot to me! 💖 Will it be possible to take babies for a walk in a stroller? 🥹
It would be amazing if we could choose between: a sport stroller / pushchair 🏃‍♀️ for toddlers (for sitting), and a pram / bassinet stroller 👶 for smaller babies (for lying down).
That little detail would make family life in InZoi feel even more real and heartwarming! 🍼✨

Going off a post above I believe laundry should be reworked. If we could have laundry baskets/hamper that fills with household clothes and do everyone's laundry at once instead of individually. I would also like other households to do their laundry so their kids don't come to school stinky.
I would also love to have bunk beds for families with multiple kids but limited on space.
I want kids to play together not just talk. We really need more children's interactions. Playing tag, hide and seek, cops and robbers, make believe, dress up, rock paper scissors, play hopscotch, jump rope, and catch together. Things that form friendship and bonds.

The small portrait image that shows my Zoi’s face and mood doesn’t look as good as it could — the visual quality and lighting seem lower compared to how the Zoi looks in the game itself.

I wish tables could have chairs placed on the left and right sides too, so we could fit six chairs in total. I really love large tables that can hold more chairs — it feels so warm and joyful when the whole family gathers around.
Also, I think the logic of Zoi needs some adjustment. For example, when getting ready for sleep, my Zoi runs to another room to change into pajamas even though there’s a wardrobe in their own room. It just doesn’t make sense.

I noticed that Zois get hungry so frequently. I get that hunger needs was adjusted so Zoi will starve during proper meal times but it needed more refinements. My Zois just had a whole breakfast in the morning but they needed to eat again in the afternoon because their hunger needs becoming low again.

Suggestion: Hunger needs drain speed rate based on the type of meals they've eaten. In real life, certain meals will make us feel full even for the whole day.

  • Eating light snacks/desserts makes hunger depletes normally or fast.
  • Eating heavy/real/energy foods makes hunger depletes much slower.
  • Once the day has passed or after certain times, speed rate returns back to normal. This little details makes food type they ate feels matters.

If InZoi continues to add the small relationship related animation interactions continuously, the game will quickly feel more soulful👌 I think having more small activities with animations attached to them makes the game more fun as well as having more autonomous things to do instead of always cleaning/ checking the mirror appearance all the time… maybe they can autonomously call a friend, invite certain friends to the park, create an event on their own and invite Zoi’s with strong friendship/ romance whenever they like! We still don’t have the ability to talk and make phone calls yet so that’s another small detail they can add with a walking back and forth animation too!

I agree and going to get snacks instead of constantly eating noodles and full meals. Could be a continuous thing they do when at home, especially for kids. But itd be nice when they can eat and do another task at the same time. Like eating chips while scrolling on the computer, or drinking a coffee while talking on the phone, while walking around.

Snacks that can be bought at the store with multiple servings so theyre not having to be reordered more than once in a whole day, and can also be stored in cabinets. But they wouldnt have quick animations maybe 9-10 secs.

More Feedback

For family/group interactions when going out into town or having family outings.

  • Being able to buy fast food for everyone if you're going out as a family/group. When it's fast-food the person buying carries the tray of food then serves it to everyone sitting down. Similar to the 'serve group meal' feature now but for fast food restaurants. So a new interaction for the cashier would say 'Buy food for group' then you'd pick the items.
  • When dining out, families and groups eats at the same table and strangers won't sit down at those tables and avoid it, and zois part of the group won't sit at another table, unless there's not enough seating available of course.
  • When kids are out with parents and say one kid wanders off one of the other siblings could go look for them and tell them to stay close, then they'd walk back together.

Family interactions at home

  • Having household rules be a thing such as: no talking at the dinner table, family conversations allowed at table, no running in house, no cellphone use in house and set which age groups it applies to; phone use would be disabled unless for emergencies, set curfew for children-teens.

Car interactions with groups

  • Being able to have conversations and arguments with others while driving. Being able to also eat , hangout, sleep/rest in car, ask another zoi to drive.
  • Add a feature to cars where you can honk for family members to come outside and get in (if part of a group) and a car honk for traffic that other cars and people react to.

PUBLIC RADIO STATIONS
I DO wish we had public radios like GTA and CyberPunk2077 that had random ads and talking in between the music it'd make the unseen parts of the world seem alive. That could also give desires.

I agree, as does the old user interface presented between the launch of Smart Zoi and the Cahaya update. The UI was minimalist, simple, and updated with current inventory, phone, and calendar options would be ideal. Not forgetting the wish list HUD, which was simply perfect. I love the original, clean presentation of the early access launch and "hate" the current one. I don't like too many UI changes (well, that's my problem).

December Holiday Feedback

  • Will it be possible to buy gifts for others? tag who the gift is from be it a person or anonymous (aka santa 😛) and tag who the gift is to, and be able place them under the tree. So the day Christmas arrives everyone can open their own gifts.
  • Different Christmas tree decoration styles. Some more colorful, some more posh, being able to customize the tree color, skills to make new ornaments from glass or porcelain materials.
  • Being able to call everyone (not just kids) to come gather around and sit to listen to stories. Then we can select story type: A Christmas tale, past family memories, funny story, etc.
  • Being able to leave gifts at neighbors doorsteps or send gifts to other zois in the mail.
  • Interaction to watch the snow fall from a window or 'watch world go by' when clicking on a window.
  • Christmas tree decorating a shared family activity that animation lasts an hr in game. Which can be paused and resume until its complete.
  • Kids being able to have a list of desired gifts they want for Christmas and Birthdays.
  • A Christmas parade would be so cool, like the ones you see in CyberPunk2077 happening in the middle of town. It could automatically happen at a specific time and wouldn't necessarily be interactable but everyone would be able to react to it (clapping, cheering, dancing)

Longer Summer Days & Cozy Winter Nights — Seasonal Daylight and Nightlife Adjustments
Kjun, are there any plans to adjust the length of daylight?
It gets dark quite early, especially during summer.
Since the upcoming update is supposed to include the Seasonal Events Calendar, it might fit perfectly if the daylight duration also changed with the seasons — for example, getting dark earlier in winter during the Christmas season, and staying bright longer in summer evenings for walks and outdoor activities.
This also connects to the opening hours of venues, especially clubs, which could stay open longer — even until the early morning hours. 🌙✨

Thanks for a great October update. I have had a lot of fun carving pumpkins, and the trick or treat event that unlocks some very nice Halloween items. I haven't tried ghost play yet , but it looks interesting. It would be fun in the future if we could go to the grave yard (maybe once a month when there is a full moon) and be able to talk and visit with the ghosts, and next Halloween schedule an event to invite ghosts of departed relatives/friends to a feast or visit the land of the dead (like in the Disney movie Coco).
I was happy to see the clubs with more zois and functional dance floors. It would be nice to eventually be able to assign the same lot traits to a custom build by having an option (public club) when you click on the lot on the map. I also agree that clubs should stay open longer - a lot of rl clubs don't get into full swing until after midnight and sometimes don't close until sunrise.
For the last few updates, I've found things that I wasn't expecting. For the October update, I was glad to see that teens can now purchase vehicles.

I actually like that ghosts only remain in the world for a limited time, rather than hanging around forever like in the Sims games. The ghost gameplay is OK for a first attempt, but I’d like to see it expanded with more quests and more opportunities to interact with other ghosts and mortals (particularly family members). And I’m interested to see how reincarnation is implemented in future updates - including whether karma scores are brought back in some form.

hope to improve the inZOI economic system. Currently, the economic system is incomplete, lacking a sense of real life. Living in the inZOI world lacks purpose. The Sim series games also lack this aspect. I hope inZOI can have a better economic system. Because when a family has more than a certain amount of money, or hundreds of thousands of family funds, or even more, there is no place to spend the money. It feels like money is not that important. Money is a part of life and needs to have the function of consumption. At the same time, we earn money and also need to spend it well.😊

I really love the new romantic interactions on the sofa and bench — they’re so cute! 💕

It’s a bit annoying having to click again and again to choose who to interact with, even when there’s only one person sitting next to you.

This kind of interaction doesn’t feel great with a time limit — it feels more like an MMO. It would be nicer if the animation could keep looping naturally without a timer.

If possible, please make the transitions between animations and interactions feel more seamless.

I’m really happy that Kjun and the team keep adding more and more animations — I just hope they continue treating them like part of an immersive life-sim experience. 🌸

Actually, it’s already ≤1000 (hmmm, the more locally positive reaction update gets, the lower the global retention). Steam reviews sometimes reflect a lack of challenge and meaning, as well as a tendency toward dollhouse, but it’s not a vast majority.

So, I still support equal voting in the game lobby. Whenever any player joins the game, they are fully entitled to accept, propose, or reject suggestions, not overriden by prior consensus.

I believe that evaluation is ultimately the devs’ responsibility, while every opinion shouldn’t be treated as unquestionable like “it’s fine for me, so it must be fine for everyone else” (if things were truly aligned, the outcomes would be reversed.)

Hi there Kjun! I recently saw a video of a burglary some other player had at home, and I wanted to say I feel like burglaries should be more of a dangerous, high-stress event for zois living in the house, and not a quirky one-time interaction where the burglar enters, fights the zoi and then immediately just behaves like they are visiting, all while the wife drinks cocktails like nothing out of the ordinary is even happening. Since you said you were working on crime and police work, hopefully this feedback will help shape how crime works in the future in game. I don't know what is the general sentiment but for me, seeing this was disappointing and I hope to see it improved! This is how I think it could be improved:

  1. **When a burglar enters, all zois that are awake should freak out or be alert. ** They should at least react to the burglar in some manner, not just keep going on about their night like before. Currently, only the zoi that is directly targeted by the burglar for a fight has any reaction at all from what I've seen. I think zois should react to the event according to their personalities: either they want to fight the burglar, or they are terrified and hide away, beg the burglar to not hurt them, or simply freeze and then be stressed out for a couple of days.

I think @timber path idea's on adding an conflict management system for zois that changes how every zoi reacts to a particular situation would be a great way to handle this. For example, not every zoi should have the option to fight the burglar available, it should depend on their personality and conflict management style. In real life, not many people would even think of fighting a burglar as a possibility.

2.** Burglars shouldn't walk in through the main door. **They should have to make an effort to break into someone's house. Breaking a window or lock picking the door should be the way the try to get in. This would also give time to zois inside who notice to hide away and call the police.

  1. Burglars should go around the house stealing what's valuable, be it money or jewels, expensive objects, phones. They should try to stay unnoticed first, instead of directly going to a zoi in the house to fight them off.

  2. After stealing/fighting a zoi, burglars should run away. I've seen burglars just sit there at the house afterwards, just doing normal stuff, as if they were just your friendly neighbour. Please burglars should immediately run from the house.

One thing I'll say about the update is that although it introduces some nice new content and positive changes, it's very buggy and feels a lot less stable than the Cahaya update. I've seen several InZoi partners mention this in their videos, so it's hardly surprising that players are holding off for the moment. While I gave the game a positive Steam review, I definitely wouldn't recommend it to 'normal' players in this state unless they actually want to be beta testers.

Yes, those are the most common complaints (buggy and can’t run on my PC after this update, even though I could launch v0.2.0 or v0.3.0). There are quite a few reviews like that. I rolled back via Steam too.

Zoi literally flew through the windshield and died twice, and ended up in jail three times, I didn’t even see how. Maybe the Zoi-Zoi collision treats as violation.

Probably because the carving can use existing animations to some extent, whereas arrests etc. would require entirely new ones. Kjun did say the Oct update would be relatively small compared to December, and I'm actually surprised by how much was included, but obviously everything that's changed or introduced multiplies the likelihood of bugs (the new sofa interactions are a good example of this).

I appreciate your opinion but don't prefer this type of gameplay. I'm only with them adding extreme theft and dark gameplay if there is a slider for those of us that want to escape from that in our game. That shouldn't be the default mode of gameplay. I do agree they should concentrate on improving current systems. Enough UI tweaking, let's focus on improving interactions with other zois and the environment, multitasking, better autonomy (for npcs too. They need to better care for their needs), longer animations, etc

This. They have personalities, traits, likes, and dislikes, but it still has no effect on Zoi autonomy, and how they react or interact with the world around them. Ex. An introverted Zoi shouldn't be choosing to go to crowded places and chat strangers. Or when Zoi likes certain foods or activities they should choose them over other options. I have a full house of Zoi with all different personalities and traits, there's no clash, no conflict. They all pretty much act the same. I need to see more depth than just a change in facial expression and a buff. 😩

As many have suggested, it would be nice if burglars would have a sneak onto your property instead of strolling in. There are so many examples from stealth games on animation for sneaking. Even if it's too complicated to have a burglar to sneak in through a window at least we can have them try a back door. They should be looking over their shoulder and look a bit nervous inside your house.

Agree. Please improve the trait system autonomy. I tried to let the simulation run by itself for weeks but none of Zois in the family build relationship on their own, it's always "none/zero" relationship level. Love, friendship, business relationship have no progress. Extroverted Zoi didn't engage with more conversations, introverted Zoi didn't avoid talking to strangers, malicious Zoi never seen picked a fight with anyone and build bad relationships. Most traits have very minimal impact but I can see potential if it works well. Let the simulation ran by itself, not by players input.

Let’s wait and see what Kjun says tomorrow about the personality system. Sure, it’s good that the team and players got a clearer understanding of how traits can actually work in inZOI, but there’s still a lot of work ahead. Some people like the system, some don’t. There are pros and cons. I think this is a top foundational system that’ll affect the entire lifecycle of the game. Tbh, I don’t mind more early access time going into this, because it’s exactly the kind of thing that needs constant feedback, listening, improvements, and iterations.

As I see it, both traits and temperaments (motivations) should combine something more fundamental and influential, and then layer on a bunch of surface-level quirks that only show up in specific situations.

Overall I kind wish there were direct actions for this like you'd see in GTA that our zoi could take against defending themselves against a criminal, and the same would apply if we played as a criminal breaking into someone's home. By being able to push, punch people, fight off police etc.

  • Police show up in squad cars to take the criminal off
  • Police taking down criminal, I feel there's no sense of urgency to do so it's a bit of a hesitancy from the police and criminal interactions. I think an animation of the criminal holding up hands and getting on their knees would be more realistic and then the police would arrest them.
  • Police come to get statement from homeowner once they've arrested the criminal.
  • Influencing more than one zoi to rob homes with your zoi

I mapped all current and pre v 0.4 “temperaments” into the Enneagram. Everything fit, but it’s still missing some more neutral ones to balance out the non-conformist types. At the very least, the softer Entertainer is gone, same with Volunteer (some of its options and Mediator got absorbed by Pacifist), Collaborator, and Dreamer. Also, some traits that fit better, emerge through growth (stress), and wants.

I figured… if it all fits, maybe just ask for 27 temperaments (18 soft/neutral, 9 amplified)? For any scenario

Santa Claus could either be a real magical being or a Zoi dressed up as Santa trying to earn some extra money. Either way, the children would believe he’s real and would gain a special moodlet. 🎅✨

  • When getting flowers as a gift zois should be able to sit them in a vase. Also being able to choose more types of flower types as a gift. Also if youre gifted flowers even as a gift we should have the ability to use them in crafting recipes.
  • I would like to see more desires centered around the arts, even if one doesn't have the skills in it. They just appreciate it and its history. Such as: ballet, opera, going to plays, going to museum galleries and finding new paintings, wanting to buy new paintings and sculptures.
  • Ballet being a hobby for children through adults and getting a career from it.
  • One big idea I had was if there was a way to host shows in town in real game time, but use mocap for it to capture our moves in real time. So other zois in the world would watch our zoi 'perform'. It could also work with adding more than one zoi and it sync the same animation as the one youre doing or be asynchronous where a different animation could be set for the non active playing one. If that makes sense.

YES! I need there to be more expensive meaningful objects/properties rich zois can splurge on. The lack of this in sims 4 was why I kept getting bored after my broke sim in my rags to riches finally became rich. I want there to be a real struggle to get rich and once you are rich a lot of things to spend your wealth on that would make you want to keep getting richer. The most expensive boat is a good start but we need more and more expensive stuff.

Also the amount we get when we steal those bags lying around should be reduced by half. It makes it too easy.

The lack of autonomy in many objects and interactions is a noticeable weakness. If every item and interaction in the game could behave autonomously, it would create more delightful surprises and make the gameplay significantly more fun.

I don’t know if I post this here but, when I was playing the trick or treat, it was raining and the trick of treat kid was not in a good mood. I don’t know if it’s due to the rain on her clothes. I think the npc kids needs to wear a raincoat when it’s raining during the halloween event.

I would like to report a bug when creating a zois. The randomize button, some zois turn invisible, mainly kids. Another bug is, the event for the halloween menu to do list keeps cancelling out or don’t work.

🫡This week, many of you shared valuable feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and ideas for the future direction of the game. In particular, you gave detailed opinions on topics such as family interactions, the personality system, karma, UI, multitasking, the economy, holiday events, and improvements to graphics and animation quality.
Many of you praised the improvements to graphics, lighting, city liveliness, and family and social interactions. However, there were also many reports of technical issues such as instability, game crashes, and frame drops due to Unreal Engine 5’s memory leak problems. I’ve read through all your feedback carefully and will work with the development team to address these issues. Starting this week, I’ll also be sharing updates about our plans for the December update and new challenges ahead.
We also received criticism for the “MyTexture modification” update that we released without sufficient communication. This change was made hastily to address performance issues reported by a small number of players. MyTexture had long been a topic of concern due to performance issues when handling many textures and the difficulty of finding one’s own texture.
Unfortunately, we didn’t think deeply enough about the impact and applied an overly simple fix, which caused confusion — for that, I sincerely apologize.
We’ll restore the feature to its original state via a hotfix and look for a better long-term solution that satisfies everyone.
Such mistakes may happen again in the future. The reason is that the inZOI team is large, and internal communication errors sometimes occur. Please understand that these kinds of oversights can happen from time to time.

Family and Group Interactions
Players expressed a desire for deeper emotional exchanges among family members and more realistic family activities — such as walking together, holding hands, family meals, watching movies, and playing games. Many also wanted to see more complex emotional expressions like affection between parents and children, and jealousy between siblings.
There were also frequent requests for realistic family outings — quick food purchases, conversations inside the car, stroller use, and more.
Our goal for the December update is to improve group and cooperative behaviors. We’ll focus first on making multiple characters move and act together, and will continue expanding this system after December.

Karma System
The karma system has been recognized as one of the game’s unique elements, but many players felt the old version was too restrictive and wanted it to return in an improved form.
Players hoped karma could be managed individually, influencing gameplay in more diverse ways rather than simply rewarding or punishing “good” or “evil.”
We haven’t abandoned the karma system — it’s still under development. Because the previous design was too complex, we’ve temporarily simplified it. But we’re exploring better ways to integrate karma as a meaningful core system in the game.

Store Management System
Many players requested a more realistic economy and shop management feature. We’re developing this for December, though it may not be fully complete in the first release. It will gradually improve over time.
We’re updating the city to allow players to open stores anywhere and to make existing shops operate within this system.
You’ve also suggested in-depth management features such as inventory control, pricing, employee hiring and training, promotions, and reputation systems — as well as the introduction of diverse store types (bookstores, florists, bakeries, etc.), malls, and hotels.
We’re also adjusting the development of instance areas (dungeons). We’ve slightly postponed their priority to first tackle city optimization — allowing more buildings in the city without performance loss. This is our next major challenge.
Reading your feedback, I strongly agreed that reducing “fake buildings” and making neighbors feel alive is essential for immersion. Of course, there are still many technical issues to solve.

Holiday and Seasonal Events
There was very positive feedback about the Halloween and Christmas events. Many players hope for expanded city-wide decorations, NPC costumes, more diverse events, Christmas tree ornaments, Santa and child interactions, winter sports, and festive activities.
Christmas decorations are in progress — we aimed to finish them before the end of the year, but they’re delayed by a few weeks. Still, we’ll make sure they happen. It makes me happy to be able to do something special for you.

Crime and Police System
Many players felt that robbery and crime-related events were too simple and lacked immersion. You requested more realistic break-ins, diverse citizen reactions, police arrest animations, and chase sequences.
Thank you for these ideas — we’re already developing improvements for December. It’s challenging, since police need to function as a job, and both immersion and the thief mechanics are difficult to balance. But we’ll keep working hard to complete this. ☺️

ZOI Autonomy and AI Behavior
Many requests focused on improving Zois’ autonomy, making their actions reflect personality traits, building natural relationships, enhancing multitasking, and creating longer, more immersive animations.
We plan to improve this in December. Our goal is to make Zois interact naturally with each other, build relationships, and perform longer, more expressive animations.
In dating scenes, we’re developing ways for characters to move together and share meals. After seeing the BTS concert, someone requested standalone dance functions and rotation between dance animations — we’ve added that. Thank you to whoever suggested it!

Thanks for the post Kjun. I haven't seen it mentioned much, and it sort of coincides with personality/autonomy discussions but I think values are also a really unique aspect to Inzoi. I am not sure how it works, or if it is affecting gameplay (if it is, it's not much) but I'd like it if was more obvious it is in Zoi autonomous behavior and choice throughout their day. As of now, it feels like just a description of what I can imagine the Zoi being, not actually seeing it play out in game. There have been major improvements in personality system, but what I think is most important is making sure Zois act and behave autonomously in the ways the temperament, traits, and values show. I know the game is in EA, and that getting personality and autonomy is no easy feat, but I think working on developing and deepening these systems, rather than constantly adding to it (also, the traits we have now should be fully fleshed out before we add anymore), will provide a much more immersive, emergent gameplay.

Looking forward to the December update! I really home city editing will get some love too. It's improving but is still really restricted. Even with cheats turned on some public lots still have random undeletable objects like trees or furniture. World building feels like it's being left out still, but it's an important aspect to some players, for me it's just as important as character creation so I'm sad to see it not get the same attention.

It is very annoying, a motorcycle or a car or a zoi suddenly appears in front of me." We want you to fix this situation. Because it is very annoying and looks bad.

There is an autonomy option in the game, so if someone wanted to play it that way, why not? It's actually quite entertaining when autonomy in games are done right. I don't play the game like that, but I have let it run by itself intentionally before because I'm the type to push the limits of a game to see what would happen. Anyway, the answer is.. nothing. Nothing interesting happens if you leave Zoi to their own devices. The autonomy is very basic and they rarely interact with other Zoi or do the things they like/want to do.

I have a full fam right now, so I can't control every action a Zoi does at all times. But when I can't, it would be nice to see their behavior reflect the personality, traits, likes, and dislikes I chose for them in addition to taking care of the basic needs. And not just the selected household .. autonomy needs to be improved for npcs /passerbys too. Or is that then getting into.. AI? Coding? I mean.. let's improve that too.

Anyway, I think this is why the game has been called "lifeless". It's lacking personality, Zoi basically act the same unless you tell them to. There should be things about each Zoi that makes them feel unique, not just visually. The excitement of life is that... it's still happening (good AND bad) around you, everyone is unique and complex so people match, people clash, there's conflict, drama. This should occur in a life sim without you having to inititate and guide every single step.

Anyway, the game is still in early access, I'm hoping they will take more time to work on automony. Whether or not they do so depends on what the vision for this game is. Is it dollhouse or a life sim? Is it supposed to be both?

Edit okay and now I see Kjun has entered the chat, He says December. So I will be excited to see that

Having the ability to let all the zois in a household be able to lock their rooms door as a way to have private areas and also more options of who they can or can't allow in the room.

In my view autonomy is mainly there so that you don't have to micromanage everything your Zois do, particularly if you're playing a large household. If the game is to provide any challenge at all, there has to be stuff players can do that the AI can't do independently. 'Nothing interesting' is pretty much what I'd expect from Zois left to their own devices - they'll take care of their basic needs and do some social interactions, but if you want them to pursue specific goals, dreams and ambitions, the player has to step in.

Where I do agree with you is that autonomous behaviour should better reflect Zois' personalities and preferences, and be more varied. They should remember when they're in a relationship, and act like it. They should prioritise interactions they enjoy while avoiding those they dislike - and for heavens' sake, stop them from cleaning the house every two seconds 😄 Luckily it sounds like the dev team is focussing on this kind of thing for the December update.

i'm surprised to see people having this reaction. i think the autonomy is a mixed bag, depending on the traits, some do well and others don't. but i think overall they affect autonomy. but i guess we all have different opinions on how much they affect it. in my gameplay, the traits seem to work especially when just observing Zois day to day. even saw people complaining about Zois still consistently cleaning but the only ones that do it a crazy amount in my games are neat freaks

The trait system does works for certain things like their daily activities, but it have very minimal impact of social interactions. Everyone in the same house only does small talks once and done, every day. So there's no buildup to anything interesting or unexpected no matter what their traits are, everything has to be forced by players input. Its like playing dollhouse, that needed to be improved.

I mentioned that earlier.. Zoi actions and decisions should at least be based on what they like and their personality, not out of character. As it is now, personality, traits, likes or dislikes I chose for them still doesn't seem to make any difference. Ex. Why is my introverted Zoi going out of their way to socialize with stangers? I made a mean one, they aren't leaning towards more mean socials.. they all very much act the same. and they just kinda live along side each other and that's it.

Yeah, you could certainly have exceptions for household chores and the like. But even then, Zois who dislike cleaning (for example) should wait until the house is actually dirty before reluctantly picking up the mop. At the moment it seems to be the default for most Zois whenever they're lacking anything else to do - it does seem to be worse for those with the Neat Freak trait, but all my Zois seem to do it.

i can see that, although the way the system is players are always going to have to do something bc its the only way to progress the relationship. sometimes i wonder if they want it to be something in the middle between dollhouse and realism. i think they should go all in on personality/autonomy bc that's one of the main things that keeps gameplay interesting and dynamic. i honestly could see players complaining if their Zoi ignores a players input and just does what they set their personality/value to be (something similar to Sims 2)

YES. I don't mind if devs decide they want it to be both. I think it would definitely take the gameplay part to the next level if they put more depth into the personality and autonomy.

I don't think Zoi should go as far as completely ignoring orders, 😂 but I do think there should be some negative impact, or discomfort from the Zoi if you are trying to get a them to do something you have set for their dislikes, or isn't part of their personality. Unless! It's the type of Zoi that's down to try new things.. like an adventurer or explorer type.

I agree. Zois need to be more context aware and act based on their personality, values, traits and preferences so they won't be copies of one another. Most zois tend to stare off into space, clean, wander around or go on the computer and occasionally talk to one another but that's about it. I haven't played the update yet so I can't say how much of that has improved (out of space to update atm), but I'd love to see more improvement towards this area.

Enhancing AI adaptability will be nice as well so they can learn the patterns of our playstyle and then adjust according when left to their devices.

One thing I think might be a nice addition is quirks: Figety, protective, avoidant, vain, superstitious, overly friendly, curious, withdrawn, caretaker, blank-faced, etc. It doesn't have to be exactly like this but it's a start. It helps add flavor to the zoi's personality by allowing us to mix match quirks to the already present personality/trait system. So an outlaw may like chaos but are protective to those that are close to them. Things like that.

Kjun, I just want to thank you for the incredible October update and all your hard work! The world and Zois feel so alive! I’m really excited to see the new multitasking and family gameplay features in action for December. It’s amazing to see the world feeling more dynamic and immersive, and every corner feels like there’s something happening, and it really draws you in.

I’d love to see outdoor dining on community lots added in the future, such as cookouts and family picnics in parks or on the beach. It would make family interactions even more dynamic and give players more ways to spend time together. Making grills functional in public spaces, along with functional food coolers for storing food/grilling at parks, could turn these outings into group activities that families can explore together. Maybe even letting players prepare meals together or host little BBQ events or family reunions could add another fun layer to family gameplay.

Regarding the Karma system, I might be one of the few who actually enjoyed it! I think it could be even better if it were tied into the Ghost Gameplay mechanics, maybe as a way to determine whether a soul can reincarnate or ascend. Something along the lines of what The Sims 4: Life and Death expansion did; it adds a meaningful value system to completing missions, while the Karma system could provide an extra layer of depth and consequence. I think tying it more directly to life choices and family legacy could make it even more engaging. For instance, Zois who die or live with bad Karma can possibly cast shame on the family name, which can feed into the gossip and public shaming mechanics already present in the game. Perhaps family reputation can be restored via charity/volunteering.

  • And you would also select a song to play or genre type

So instead of having to organize zoi in a group we normally would by clicking and clicking etc. It would be housed under this one activity similar to the studio, but we still would have choices to select to make each performance unique.

quirks could be a good addition but i don't want them to add things just to add them. like it's all just text to describe our Zois while they act the same (as you said, cleaning, wandering, computer things, and small interactions). traits and values still need ironing out, and until those feel distinct and unique enough in action, not just in descriptions, they should focus on improving the systems

I’m glad to hear that the karma system will be returning later on. As for the December update, I’m really happy they’re focusing on family gameplay. Personally, I don’t think the crime-related features are that important for this update. I’d much rather see a few well-developed, in-depth features than a bunch of half-finished ones. The crime-related features or other things less important, can be updated next year.

  • Having homework not be so computer based but actual books and paper they pull out to do assignments
  • Being able to form study groups with others, and even ask a peer to tutor your zoi
  • Report cards being sent to parents
  • Having an option to ask if students want to go to after school activity instead of it being scheduled every day.
  • High schoolers being able to have a part time job
  • Schools calling parents if students miss 3 days of classes in a row
  • I love my highschool students can drop out of school but also return when they want, im happy that element is there. 😀

FAMILY GAMEPLAY

  • Family rules, values, and parenting styles we can choose from like the likes and dislikes traits. There being both good and bad options with all of these not just positive ones.
  • Asking other zois such as friends and relatives to come over and babysit. Instead of calling a babysitter from the phone, then set how long they would stay for up to 5 days.
  • Being able to set up an arrangement for kids to be dropped off at relatives and say at their homes until parents come to get them. Like for summer vacations or to give parents a break, there'd be no limit for how long they can stay. But the parents would have to drive to the homes to retrieve the children manually with a interaction 'Here to take kids home'.

What ruins the structure of the game?
Before zois were more dispersed throughout the city and you didn't really see zois show up where you were. To which people asked for MORE zois in the city to make it feel fuller. However the more crowded the city, the worse performance will get since it is fully open world.
Therefore they implemented a system where zois now show up wherever your zois are. Which is amazing in my opinion. I'm seeing more zois walking on the sidewalks, filling up the café when I'm there, etc.
It allows us to see the townies already in game more often, instead of just endlessly adding in more zois to fill up every inch of the city.
The person I was responding to, was basically saying that while the city feels more lively now, they don't like seeing zois suddenly spawn. They don't like that they can no longer see zois further away in the background.
All I was saying was that I personally prefer the new system. I don't care about seeing zois far away if it means my game will be laggy. I have a high-end gaming system and even I am seeing some performance issues from time to time at max setting. The game hasn't even fully released yet, prioritizing performance is important if we want to see Inzoi reach it's full potential in the future.👏❤️

Suggestions for Family Gameplay (PT.2)/GROUP

Curfew: Set time curfew when a child/teen is allowed to be out. There should be consequences if they break curfew.

Grounded: Child/teen can be grounded for skipping school, bad grades, stealing, breaking curfew and etc. Examples of consequences can be:
* Not allowed to watch tv

  • Not allowed to use computer
  • No phone access
  • Can’t leave home
  • No toys

Allowances: Be able to give children/teens their own set of money outside of shared household balance. Children/teens can be awarded whenever, having good grades, doing chores such as cleaning and etc.

School:

  • A more fleshed out academic system that ties in with future careers
  • Report cards
  • School breaks for holidays

  • Intractable baby formula (have to make formula to give to baby)

I don’t want to intrude, since I get this is directed at the devs, but I think it’s worth waiting until December, when adaptive and group behaviour will be fully implemented. From what I gather, they’re moving toward NPCs clustering as families, walking together hand in hand, with children, strollers, etc. + switching to the newest engine versions will allow them to optimise crowds. Overall, it’s exactly what we asked for (if you remember the July brainstorms about the journey.) All my threads here also explored crowd behaviour. If they succeed, it’ll resemble +- Spider-Man 2, where the engine pulls up to 200 NPCs from cache and spawns them in different roles. Mass AI does smth similar.

Previously, we were overly focused on building a technically perfect simulation world, which caused several problems — optimization issues, increasing system complexity, and high maintenance costs. After much testing, we realized that maintaining this approach is unsustainable. > We’ve now shifted our design: instead of relying purely on simulation logic, Zois will act appropriately based on adaptive behavioral values that fit their situation.
Players also requested more realistic relationship dynamics, such as betrayal, jealousy, and rumors — as well as NPCs who recognize each other and behave differently depending on their relationships. To achieve this, we’re enhancing multitasking, group behavior, and the event system. These improvements will be included in the December update.
For example, during dates or family trips to amusement parks, Zois will engage in more conversations and interactions with each other. Once this system is implemented, families will naturally talk more often and move together when visiting parks. That’s the development goal — it’s a difficult system to build, but I’m determined to make it happen.

As a builder.. a major issue that I have been running into, occurs while editing public lots.

  • The mandatory objects keep deleting when loading a saved preset.

This is starting to become a major issue, because every time I start a new save file after an update, I am unable to place my previously edited public lots back into the game, without them becoming non-functional.

The only “work-a-round” is to manually edit the lots again. Which is very time consuming..

Could the game either not delete those required objects when placing a saved lot preset? Or could there be a way to manually add all of the deleted objects back into the game, so that the lots remain functional?

—-> There could be an added section in “Build Mode” that displays “Required items” while editing a public lot.. where all of the mandatory items are stored. And the game should tell you exactly which items are required on a specific lot.

You actually kinda brought up one of my questions/concerns for the future of InZoi: DLC. I want to know what we can expect from DLC in the future in terms of pricing and what will be added. My main problem with the other life sim I was playing was how often they shipped out DLC for you to buy as opposed to free updates with little things or bug fixes. I want to have an idea of what I could expect from future InZoi DLC in terms of price and what I'd be getting, and how often they would be releasing the DLC. I know that's in the future, but I want to have an idea of what to expect. Just vague things like "For this price you can expect these unique things and these new versions of existing things(A new chair style that functions the same as chairs already in game for example. New design, same animations)"

I definitely feel like dlc will be around $30-$40 and idk if they plan to stick to the release schedule of every 3 months like now but if so that’s fine with me just as long as they have enough time to flesh out their dlc so it’s feels like it’s worth the money ( which I definitely feel they’ll be able to do). And as long as the dlc is not stuff that should’ve been base game like 90% of the sims 4 dlc then I’m okay ( another thing I’ve already felt they’ve proven and I hope they stick to). I can understand occults being dlc, pets ( though I feel like there’s possibility we could cats and dogs at the very least as base game) and maybe packs that focused on certain activities, for example if we got a pack that focused on big theme parks/ carnivals/ festivals and such( which I would live for!). Those things I can get behind. However I definitely don’t want to see things like how the sims did with say the pack ( I forgot what it was called) that added changing tables, cribs/ other baby and toddler furniture and more interactions. Those things should just be free small updates imho. So I think as long as they don’t pull those moves and make the packs feel fun, unique, and worthwhile I believe it will be great

Yes, exactly. But I went back and reread the posts from the July-October brainstorms, it’s 1:1 our own proposals on group activities and models that have proven reliable in open-world games. tbh, the work is visible: yes, it’s worse in terms of distance rendering for now, but the way locations are populated with dozens of Zois, plus the closing of building shells with pre-assigned roles and (preliminary) spawning, looks like an ideal compromise (again, 1:1 our own proposal) to keep living open world, and potentially one of the game’s unique features. waiting for v.0.5.0-release, current version isn’t for me either

I've been getting back into playing Inzoi, trying not to get too attached to the zois. As December approaches, I can't help but feel excited!

That said, I just wanted to say: please take a break! I really appreciate that you're implementing our suggestions and love how engaged you are with the community. It sometimes feels like you never rest, though. It would be great to see how you all take care of yourselves as part of the development process. Burnout wouldn't be great in the long run!

I really value everything you developers do. You’re some of the most interactive devs out there, and it's clear you listen to our feedback. We appreciate you even if we don’t say it enough!

I would like to be able to sell the paintings, not through the phone ( pocket market ), but to be able to place them in inventory and later put them on display somewhere for Zois to see them and buy them for price that I set...I am not sure if that is possible already?!

I was especially upset about karma being removed because it was a central part of my gameplay, and then I learned from a friend about the negative consequences. I truly hope you can bring it back in a way that's fun for everyone.

I still want to see a citywide karma report, though. I want to play the role of the demigod and choose how to respond to karma. I could be a chaotic demigod even—one day reward good karma, and the next day punish them. 😆 I couldn't imagine a more perfectly dystopian setting than living under a chaotic demigod and a tyrannical government on top. (I really want dystopian play in the future.)

Will the Halloween event end when the December update comes? A recent update said we have to unlock the build mode decorations per family, and I want several families to have them. I'm trying to play them all right now.

I don't know if there will be a regular Halloween celebration with Trick-or-treat events every Autumn that would enable us to unlock those items after the December update as each Autumn season arrives in the game. It would take longer to unlock everything, but that's cool. I'd rather take a longer time unlocking them than not be able to unlock them for current and future families! 🙏

Someone mentioned wanting Values reflected more in gameplay. (Right now, they influence the urges zois get, and unlock certain interactions), and I could see autonomous actions reflecting their values (at least to some point.)

Autonomous behaviour needs to address caring for their basic needs first. After that, their values could play a HUGE role in their autonomous behaviour (if they don't already). Zois with Pleasure as their highest value would want to do their preferred activities. That's just one example. I'm sure the devs would be able to come up with many more awesome ways for values to influence a zoi's autonomous behaviour when their basic needs are satisfied.

Autonomy, Multitasking, and Needs Behavior Since Update

I usually let my Zois act autonomously because I prefer observing their lives instead of micromanaging them. Since the latest update, I’ve noticed more social interactions between family and friends, which is great.

However, multitasking still seems absent. A Zoi will often sit idle with an interaction queued (basically in limbo) while their target finishes their current task. They still can’t talk while eating, watching TV, or playing chess, and group conversations don’t occur. Everything still feels very one-task-at-a-time and procedural.

Another issue I’ve noticed is that activities and social interactions now seem to override basic needs. When I switch between my five active households, I often find Zois with red needs — especially hunger, sleep, bladder, and energy.

When I bring in a Zoi from a temporary non-aging “homeless” household (used to pause aging so their future partner can catch up), and they finally move in together after getting engaged, the Zoi from the inactive household always has all red needs.

Ideally, autonomy should apply to all Zois, even in inactive households. At the very least, fulfilling basic needs should be prioritized. I’m genuinely worried that Zois outside the household I’m actively playing could die from neglected needs simply because I’m not there to intervene.

Improving mod stability would make a huge difference for Inzoi, especially for players who love building. As someone who mainly creates and shares builds on Canvas, having reliable mods would open up so many more furniture options and customization choices, helping me keep my creativity going. Right now, I’ve had to stop using mods because they often break shortly after installing, which means the people downloading my builds don’t get the full experience I worked so hard to create. Using only base game furniture is still enjoyable, but having more stable mod support would keep builders inspired and engaged for much longer. At the same time, the community truly appreciates how open and responsive the devs have been—being part of such an interactive and collaborative early access process is rare and really meaningful. The game is already far more detailed and thoughtfully designed than many other life sims at this stage, and with stronger mod stability, it could become something truly exceptional.

can we have jealousy and relationship status that means "single" zoi isn't automatically someone who isn't married. Boyfriend/Girlfriend dynamics. It would also be great where it was possible for Zois to necessarily feel the same way about each other. Especially when it came to love an attraction. So there could one-sided crush and unrequited love. Or a zoi be unaware that another Zoi has one-sided dislike for them.

I understand that mods are important to people, and it's great that the InZOI team are adding mod support as early as possible, but in Early Access it's pretty much inevitable that updates will regularly break mods. I'm not trying to be harsh here, just realistic. The game is nowhere near content-complete, full of bugs, and a lot of gameplay systems are missing or unfinished - focussing on modding stability at this point would hamper the devs' ability to fix these issues. IMO it's best to stick to simple texture mods etc. until the game reaches a more advanced stage of development.

I really wish I could use a hotfix to remove the 'cleaning the streets' interaction. Ever since I enabled Smart ZOI, my characters keep randomly doing it—almost every NPC is either cleaning streets or staring at mirrors. It just looks so weird. Also, I think this feature is completely pointless.😅 😅

I love this update but please, Kjun when will they finally fix the ability for non household members to stay seated in the passenger seat without getting out after? I like to pick up my non household Zoi’s to be able to travel to the same place together without editing all their schedules or just using “call over” as it sometimes says they are busy or even to do something simple like picking up their date in their car, I can’t do that because if they are non household members they will get out of I don’t drive off and if I stop at any point they’ll get out then too

I love the changes that have been made where venues are much more alive with more zois. The high school had a scheduled event at the Skylounge at the Elegance Hotel in Bliss Bay - the place was absolutely buzzing: packed dance floor, bar/dining/lounge areas. I saw a bartender and host, but I think that's still being flushed out. The one big problem that I still see is the needs of npcs and some created zois not in your family - too many that have depleted hunger/sleep needs where they can't function properly. If this can not be easily adjusted, I would like to see either an option to click on any zoi and fill their needs or to have a new cheat that would adjust the needs. I would also like to eventually be able to hire bartenders/djs/caterers for house parties.

I also have an idea if they were to include the fitness groups as an option to make as an event ourselves and assign roles but leaving the ability for Zoi’s to still go with npcs fitness groups!! I saw that the fitness group was considered a “party” and I was wondering if I could make one as well but it wasn’t there so I wonder if it would be possible to make these groups available to assign roles ourselves. Another idea is to allow us to assign Zoi’s who are already created to populate the lots instead of having to create new Zoi’s every time thanks!!

I think gym membership will be great in the game that’s life challenging no gym centres in real world is free
Zois can go to gym centre n pay the membership at reception or pay using the phone. The membership should have expiring date so you can pay whenever it expires

There should be car insurance in the game . Paying it using phone if Zois doesn’t pay it police will chase the car or the Zois will pay fine

I really hope they fix the non household members not staying seated in cars thing because it really messes with the storyline and gameplay my Zoi’s friend was supposed to pick her up in their car after work sense she doesn’t have a car herself and then with dates where the bf picks up the gf but the passengers won’t stay seated if they aren’t in the same household…😑🙃

For the public lots, wedding and hotel venues (and also for parties)… Could we please get some buffet trays or a buffet table to serve the food on… It is definitely immersion breaking to serve multiple/unlimited portions of meals from the small “single serving” plates

Prior to this update, one of my most-played zois was discovered to have a secret crush on her best male friend, and a secret crush or obsession with her female BFF's boyfriend/fiancé. Secret crushes and obsessions are possible, but I'm not quite sure how to tell if the second one was also just a secret crush or not. The zoi who had these crushes had a boyfriend, but suddenly wanted to break up with him for no reason I could figure out. The urge went away, but she expressed her feelings autonomously to both of the other zois she was interested in.

With my updated characters, one has the emotionally needy trait, and she's prone to snooping in her sweetheart's account because she feels insecure in the relationship. I thought it fit the story well because she's too perfect otherwise. And the couple continues to be powerful, but it's great when she snoops, he catches her, and then they're both mad for a little while. I wonder what'll happen if he really does form even a mutual crush with someone else. 😂

I love your suggestion for other relationship statuses. Can you post it again in the new brainstorming thread that Kjun will post today or tomorrow (depending on time zone). I think suggestions made in that phase of the discussion are easiest to collect and act on or put on a list of things (if they like it, but why wouldn't they?). I'd love if your suggestion is noticed!!

Relationship status is sort of related to the level of romantic connection, but it's not recognized by other zois (or the zois themselves in some situations).

Since mutual crush happens automatically, that should be the level where one zoi can ask the other zoi to be their boyfriend/girlfriend. (I would add partner for nonbinary, but that's hurtful to people want gendered relationship labels in their same-sex relationships.)

It happened in one of my Let's Plays. The male bff was out to meet his girlfriend with the female friend messaged to ask "are we friends or something more?" even though they didn't have a romance connection. I had him respond to the message saying of course we're just friends, where is this coming from? She said it was a joke, but one of the viewers pointed out it was likely the reason she had the very mysterious urge to break up with her boyfriend all of a sudden (three episodes prior).

Friendships (especially in early stages) can be one-sided as well. One of my characters was Authoritarian, and she could have no or negative friendship with a roommate while the roommate had at least some positive friendship toward her.

So I have a suggestion for vehicles!! I think it would be cool to have a transportation shop. So we could actually go there and buy scooters, motorcycles, bikes, rollerblades/ roller-skates and customize them right there. So there would be an outdoor area for the different motorcycle designs and then a regular shop with the other forms of transportation. Rollerblades and skates lined on one wall, bikes ( regular and double seated ones) hung on another wall and then scooters lined up on the opposite side. And customizing options could be something simple like baskets and led lights for bikes. Stickers, different colored wheels and handle bar grips for scooters. Rollerblades/skates can also have different colored wheels or led ones, glitter designs, patterns or plain colors. For motorcycles: led lights for the tires ( and different kinds of tires) and helmet, custom paint job, etc. And of course depending on what you add to them the price would increase. I think it would be a nice immersive touch

I'd like to be able to play families in different cities in the same game. For example, the grown son moves from Bliss Bay to Cahaya but can return to visit his family, or his parents (or friends, relatives) can visit him.
I wish there were more options in the Caz in "Customize." The clothing variety is too limited—I like dressing the Zois according to the season, but there's really too little for fall/winter.
I use a few mods, but they're causing problems, especially during updates. And anyway, most of the mods are for short, sexy, and elegant dresses. I wish even those who aren't good at modding could customize more.

If you haven't played through that event, it's designed to quickly move a relationship forward romantically. I haven't tried doing it and then turning the person down, but she would've only sent the text if she had developed romantic feelings toward him. Just yesterday, I deleted all my backup saves I made at the end of every episode. Otherwise, I'd hop into the backup of the previous day's episode and check everyone's relationship panels.

Just after 9 minutes in, I opened the relationship panel to check why the old woman got mad. You can see the girl who messaged him in the upper right side of his panel. He's at -10 romance with her at that point. He was definitely at 0 when she messaged him. I have no idea what her relationship score with him was because I didn't check it during any episode between wanting to break up with the boyfriend and sending the text to her bff. (I had checked off camera to try to figure out her reasoning. All I could think of was her "Life of Freedom" desired life, but that's not what the urge text suggested. It was just a total mystery to me until my viewer commented on this episode in question.)

**FEEDBACK GAMEPLAY part 1 **

Pharmacy

  • Having actual pharmacies we can go to and create as a business to buy all kinds of vitamins, pregnancy tests,and medicines to help our zoi. Instead of buying everything from the phones or automatic..

Grocery Stores

  • Having separate aisles and sections you'd find in real life to buy different kinds of groceries. And needing a shopping cart to push around. Having to wait in line to pay for groceries it's not automatic like in Sims 2 Open for Business I loved customers had to wait in line to pay I'd like to see this realism brought to this game.
  • Interactions: steal items, eat item, eat samples (if available), compare prices, abandon cart, use coupons.

Illegal Businesses

  • Being able to run a illegal business but have it disguised as a regular store or restaurant (like italian mafia stuff). There would be potential if the business to get shut down by authorities and people being sent to prison. Like an ice cream parlor posing as a money laundering chain in the back.

Jail & Prison

  • I feel jail needs to have longer sentencing depending on the crimes committed. This where the courthouse could be of great use, to announce criminals sentencing that also get published in newspapers and broadcasted on tv. Then they would get transported back to jail/prison if they have a sentence of 6months or more.
  • Going to jail will create a permanent record for all zois who do crime and get caught. This would hinder job hiring them, create city wide reputations (like in watchdogs), and also hurt or help relationships when others find out.
  • Family and friends being disappointed in the zoi who got sent away is released.
  • Being able to visit prisoners in jail would be nice too and they can send letters

I had a thought here, let’s say two people are communicating, then they just fall silent and each go about their own business, this is strange, maybe it’s worth introducing a farewell into the characters’ dialogues, which ends the dialogue, this will also help exclude from the conversation a third character who was just interfering in the conversation.

However, I have a really big request—is it possible to unlock the Halloween decorations for all families? 🧡 👻 🎃 It's such a shame that you have to unlock them laboriously for each individual family. 🥺 On top of that, the event seems to be bugged for one of my families (a child comes, but doesn't collect any candy). I would love to decorate houses and lots with the Halloween stuff—the candlesticks in particular are so beautifully made. Thank you very much! text_ThankYou 🙏
