hey Kjun
(Note: I used AI assistance to write this message because I have dyslexia and ADHD. I just wanted to share my ideas as clearly as possible.)
First of all, a big thank you for your amazing work – it’s clear that every detail of InZoi is made with passion. 🙌
While playing, I thought of a few features that could make the experience even more comfortable, realistic, and creative:
⚙️ 1. Manage Mods Directly In-Game
Ability to enable or disable mods during gameplay.
Download new mods from the Workshop without having to return to the main menu.
Ideally, mods should be ready to use immediately, making spontaneous play sessions smoother.
👉 Benefit: Creative sessions would flow much better, and players wouldn’t face unnecessary interruptions.
🧩 2. User-Friendly Cheat Menu
Cheats like “Add Money,” “Unlock Objects,” or “Speed Up Time” available directly via an in-game menu.
Instead of console commands or text input: clear buttons & quick options for easy access.
👉 Benefit: Fewer barriers, more freedom – especially for players who enjoy experimenting or just want to relax and build.
🏗️ 3. Building & Expansion Ideas
Expandable Building Lots
Currently, building lots feel a bit limited. It would be great if players could expand their lots freely, especially for larger or more detailed projects.
Build up to the street or over sidewalks
Allow buildings to extend right up to sidewalks, or even over them (e.g., with balconies, bridges, or terraces) while pedestrians still walk underneath.
Expansion with neighboring lots
Players could buy neighboring lots, removing existing buildings and turning them into expandable buildable areas.
Freer pool placement
Pools should be placeable anywhere – next to buildings, across levels, or integrated with terraces.
Stable editing system
When editing lots, sometimes foundations or objects disappear. It would help if existing structures stayed stable during editing.
Workshop and save improvements
When reinstalling the game, custom textures and Workshop items currently get lost.
Automatic Steam Cloud backups for both personal creations and subscribed Workshop items would solve this.
Also, a “My Subscribed Items” tab in the Workshop could let players re-download everything at once after reinstalling or changing PCs.
🧹 4. Flexible Hiring of Cleaning Staff
In addition to the current one-time payment for cleaning services, it would be great if players could hire cleaning staff for longer periods (for example, a month) so they come regularly without needing to rebook them each time.
How it could work:
Players can set a schedule — daily, weekly, or specific days.
Players can dismiss them anytime, but if they end the contract mid-month, the full month’s fee would still apply.
Benefits:
More convenience and realism: No constant rebooking.
Flexible planning: Players decide exactly when cleaning happens.
Clear and fair rules: Even if dismissed mid-month, payments stay simple and transparent.
This would make property management smoother and more immersive.
🌆 Overall Benefits
More realism: Cities and buildings feel truly alive.
More creativity: Larger, more flexible building projects.
Better stability: Fewer bugs and data loss.
Player freedom: More tools, more control, more fun.
Thank you so much, Kjun, for being so open to community ideas and for your dedication to creating something truly special.
Your passion and interaction with players make InZoi stand out as one of the most exciting creative simulators in development.
