It probably doesn't need much introduction, but our goal with cheats was simple: to let players quickly modify and configure their play environment to suit whatever scenario they can imagine. We’ve already received a lot of positive feedback on this feature—but like everything else in inZOI, we want to keep improving and refining it to make it more useful for players.

Which brings us to today’s question:
What “new cheat” would you like to see added to the game?

As always, please leave just one suggestion per comment (you're welcome to leave multiple comments!). This helps us track which specific ideas other players like the most!

Also, I'd love to hear which of our current cheats you’ve been enjoying most in your day-to-day gameplay. Knowing this helps us decide the overall direction for future additions.

Edit: About which cheets I enjoy/use most. So far add money, showing zoi info, set skill level, set relationship type/level, customize zoi, and all of the pregnancy ones. I've used these and appreciate them a lot, especially for storytelling. I would suggest build cheats, but I'm sticking to my one and only suggestion, which would also help me with my storytelling.

This would also be easy to implement since the resizing already works with a workaround and resizing is also already scheduled for the December update, just add the raising/lowering and tilting with the whole 'gizmo' thing.
Like you did with the glasses, earrings and headphones and stuff in CAZ.
It would be so awesome to freely place objects on surfaces, the bigger plant pots on tables, objects on stairs, stack objects like boxes, for example, hang rugs and plants on walls, place objects on half walls and on objects with no slots or on roofs, decorate a christmas tree with the plushies from the claw machine... Endless fun!

CAZ cheats for content creators, I would like to be able to adujt the speed of the animated poses. - maybe not a cheat: be able to easily safe and switch between differnet studio background settings

Icons like the bus/train station and elevator, as well as special effects that appear when Zois sing, when the radio is on, or when like/dislike overlays show above their heads.
Anything necessary that will improve both screenshots and videos. Or just live mode for players who prefer to play without it on.

Unless they plan to make roofs overlapping in the future, I'd love a cheat that allows this, to give me more freedom and autonomy when building.

As for my favorite cheat, it would be the money cheat. Sometimes I like to build homes live in game with a Zoi present so that I can see how well they move about the build and compare them with the space of a room. Since it costs to build, having money available helps a lot.

I suggested the cheat because I want the cheat, not just because it's in the sims... It's more convenient to be able to type this kind of cheat to instantly move rather than having to find the amount of a property, use the money cheat to add that amount, and then buy it (what if you changed your mind and want another house? Then you have extra money or have to add again...); and if it can be an option, why not?

Nothing wrong with suggesting similar cheats between games if we know how convenient the cheat was to use :)

For anyone else wondering why a Free Housing cheat would be nice to have, I'll make it clear: Without this cheat, you have to choose a property and stick with that decision, find the amount it costs, add that exact amount, and then move to accomplish the same thing, instead of being able to put in a single cheat and move to whatever property you feel like at the moment.

If you change your mind before moving and after you already added the money, then you'd potentially have to add money again if you decided on a more expensive house or you'll have an excess of money if you decided to move into a less expensive property or not move at all.

The same could be said for vehicles too, but it's less impactful because the price of the cars is much less than housing.

I think you are confused... The steps I outlined above are what you would have to do with the money cheats, as opposed to simply typing in something like "FreeHousing" and then instantly moving (completely hassle free).

Anyway, moving on. I don't want to spam this thread. If you don't get it, you don't get it. But it's what I would like to see, so if it's possible and they add it, it affects no one but those who want it. You can still use your money cheat.

There is more than enough space to open the door and the stairs are so huge, they already occupy 1/4 of the whole house, I don't want to sacrifice even more space for them.
Also the windows, I don't see why we can't place a window there with ALT (see pic 2) when I can put the bed and other stuff there with ALT after I placed the window.
When I want to move the window, I have to remove everything around the window and replace it again

For storytelling purposes, I'd suggest a death cheat that allows the players to choose the cause of death. Right now, "removezoi" cheat triggers death by natural causes. But it would be great to have an extra optional thing to add to it. Leaving it empty will still cause the natural causes, but players will have other options too.

So, in short, add an extra optional argument to removeZoi cheat that allows players to choose how they die.

technically this table exists in the modkit, but you can't change the total for the entire lifespan, to anything beyond 100 days. And that's annoying.

Yeah but even so, say you're playing with the current ruleset (0.20). Young Adult starts at 36days.

If You do a mod to revert it to a realistic aging table, at 36 you're already into the adult stage. So every NPCs and existing Zois you had created in old games will move to the new stage instead of being adjusted into the new Young adult stage. They do not scale and it messes up games and the default NPCs (those static families like the Williams or the Collins) all start MUCH too old.

This is what I wanted to make sure the devs adjust if they give us a Cheat / option in the menu for.
That said, I agree being able to edit max age would be very very good.

Might be tough to impliment, but if we're doing a god sim, what about stasis? Put a Zoi in like... a statue form or something and unfreeze them when you're ready to use them. If you have two sibling Zois and you want to use one now but you have ideas for both, just freeze the other one in a statue, or a... stasis tank or something, and unfreeze them later. In another life sim, years ago, I had a couple that had children, a boy and a girl. The boy got married and had a daughter but I ignored the girl until it was too late and wound up with sort of a disappointing single character who could have turned into something if I just kept her for later.

A cheat to unlock all the interactions. Positive and Negative interactions. For example, I want a Zoi who is bipolar with their mate. One minute they're happy, the next minute they're fighting or arguing. Just to mix things up in the relationship. I don't want to get their relationship status to a certain point to unlock a certain interaction or gesture.

I would like a cheat to make furniture overlap and be able to access the game's debug mode and access hidden construction objects.

Maybe someone already mentioned this but a cheat to be able to add any NPC to your household. The only way I have found to do this is to cheat a romantic relationship with one of your Zoi’s with and NPC Zoi and cheat marriage between them and then they can be added to your household. This is way too much trouble to go through in order to add random NPC’s to your household. If someone knows of an easier way, please let me know. Thx

Suggestion to improve cheats in inZOI — Easier and faster interface

I love the cheats that inZOI already has; they help a lot with gameplay and storytelling. But I think it could be even better with a more practical interface, like a panel or menu where we can just click and type values, without needing to memorize commands or type long codes.

For example, in The Sims 4 there is a mod called UI Cheats Extension that opens a small box where you can enter the value you want to change — money, age, relationships, skills, etc. For relationships, you can increase or decrease affinity simply by clicking on the visual bars, making it very easy and fast.

Like super strength, high metabolism, faster running with a cartoon effect, cold breath to freeze other zoi's a cheat like this would be fun to have so i don't have to mod inzoi therefore gameplay would be full mod proof.
Before I forget I will suggest a manipulator ray gun cheats similar done with the sims 4 get to work expansion pack but blended with vampires game pack. Maybe like making zoi's fall in love with you, manipulating their emotions, turning them into servants to do your hard work. Lol

A simple in-game cheat menu would be a huge quality-of-life improvement. Instead of typing commands manually, players could just click to add money, unlock items, or trigger other helpful functions – similar to features found in other building or simulation games. It would streamline the gameplay without breaking immersion.

This cheat could be "AgeZoi [ZoiID] 999" where 999 is the age.

The game would automatically set that zoi into the proper life stage immediately, and allow ANY life stages, even newborn/toddler/adolescent (which you cannot do in the Studio... Yet).

Please update the editallsites cheat to edit ALL parts of a lot! For example certain lots like apartment buildings and the hotel in Bliss Bay only allow us to edit the top part of the building. And as someone who likes to film machinima, I’d prefer to have all areas open to edit to ensure the lighting stays consistent (I need to have shadow casting lights enabled)

It seems like in an apartment complex you can edit the lighting upstairs but not in the lobby area and it’s breaking immersion.

I'd like to have a cheat to set Zoi's height. Not really height, but we can set certain Zoi's whole scale/size. Make them smaller or larger. I understand height adjustment won't be official feature due to animation and clipping issue, but these issues shouldn't matter because its only a cheat.

There's already a way (long and convoluted) to do this by exporting as preset/modifying preset/importing new preset over an existing zoi. At that point why not allow the agedown too ?

I mean, by all means, sure. Go wild, break your game lol I was just saying why I didn’t include it in my suggestion because what I asked for was a GLOBAL aging cheat, not just a normal “age this specific Zoi” down cheat.

So I was concerned about all young adult Zoi becoming teens at once (or if you use it more than one, them becoming adolescents/children), especially if they have children themselves or whatever. But again, sure. Have at it, if they will actually add that lol

Cheat to add any NPC Zoi (the ones you cannot switch to with the Play button/cannot manage) into a household or a property so that you can finally control them.

Currently, the only way to make them playable is by having them move in with your Zoi or marry them, and I believe those are both romance-locked.

You can "ShowZoiInfo True" and see their ID
Then "CustomZOI 00000" where the zeroes are the ID.
Export zoi as preset.
Create temporary family, import preset
Once back in game, you can transfer Zois in-between family.

A bit convoluted, but it's at least possible.
I agree an easier way would be best tho !

I've seen no mentions of it, so I'll suggest this.

Cheat to change Zoi's values.

You can find your Zoi's values in Zoi info panel and there are 10 values in-game:

• Coexistence
• Authority
• Safety
• Challenger
• Accomplishment
• Autonomy
• Rule-Abiding
• Love
• Pleasure
• Traditionalist
  These values change during the gameplay and once a value is high enough, it'll affect Zoi's behaviour and unlock new interactions.

So a cheat to change it would be nice too. It could be like this: changeValue [ValueID] [Number]

Where "Zoi ID" is just that, from "Show ZoiInfo true"
Where "000" is the age you want to set your Zoi to, from 1 to 100 (currently, 100 is maximum age in game engine)

The game needs to automatically move the Zoi in the appropriate age group they end-up in and change their appearance to that too, of course

This is much better than a "AgeUP/AgeDOWN" cheats as it's precise and does not lock you to the begining of the previous/next age group.

Exactly! It used to enable the detailed mode as well as basic. Now it only lets us use the basic face feature adjustments. We need both again. 🙏
Currently, I've been using Canvas to upload the face private, download it, adjust it in CAZ, and then change the face preset when I use the CustomZoi cheat.

Hope it's all encompassing. The dev cheat seems to me to only unlock building objects that we see in the world but have no access to (like the hot tub or spa stuff). I'm talking about the objects we do have access too but are only unlocked during gameplay (ex the fancier fish tanks or the high end washing machine)

highest? not the lowest? cuz low mean very unlikely, while high means very often, though i am on the lowest buts till a cheat command to completely prevent furniture breaks, and etc, would be better. cuz the description says: effects the probability of household appliances to breaking during usage. which in this case low should be pretty much not breaking high would mean always pretty much breaking.
