After 18 columns posted across 8 months, we have finally reached the end of Kjun's Concerns.

As always, I took the bus to work, and looking out the window, I saw the warm sunshine bathing the streets, and it hit me—spring has finally arrived, as beautiful as ever. Spring in Korea is truly breathtaking. It reminds me of the spring I created for Dowon in inZOI. If any of you ever plan to visit Korea, I highly recommend coming between April and June. Apart from the short yet stunning autumn, summer and winter here can be far less pleasant due to their extreme weather.

For a brief moment, I let myself enjoy a sense of peace, but as I reached my stop, that peace quickly turned into nervous anticipation—after all, I only have 4 weeks left until inZOI is finally released to the world.

Looking back at myself two years ago, when I first decided to embark on this project, I can’t help but smirk knowing how recklessly brave I was to even think about creating a game of this scale. Now, I understand why so few companies have attempted to develop a life simulation game. The challenge isn't just additive the more you try to build—it's exponential. At a certain point, finding bugs in this vast world we've created feels like playing tag with invisible ghosts.

I have to say it again—The Sims team deserves endless praise for their incredible achievements. As a longtime game developer, I can only express my deepest respect and admiration for what they accomplished in this genre.

This journey has been the biggest challenge of my life, but it’s because of you—our community—that my team and I were able to push through every adversity and reach this final stretch. Your unwavering support has been, and continues to be, our greatest driving force.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your love and contributions to inZOI. If, by good fortune, the game reaches the level of success I hope for, I’d love to share my untold stories of Kjun and The Sims—the real reason I set out to create inZOI in the first place.

For now, though, I have to get back to hunting more bugs to ensure that the inZOI you experience on March 28th can be as pest-free as possible 🪲👋

With just one month left, the next four weeks will be the most intense development period for the game. To fully dedicate myself to this final push, I’ll be stepping away from my usual communications with the you all, but don't worry—I’ll see you soon at the inZOI Online Showcase, where I’ll finally reveal everything you've all been waiting to hear.

Early access marks a new beginning for our team, and as much as I want to appear confident, I won’t lie—I’m incredibly nervous. No matter how hard we try, inZOI at launch will still be an incomplete game. However, as I always say, inZOI will keep on evolving and improving with your feedback and contributions.

By the time I return to writing, Kjun's Concerns may have turned into Kjun’s Remorse 😆. Hopefully not—but either way, I'm happy to announce the end of this chapter and open up the start of our next one.

Thank you for speaking positively on the Sims!! There is a lot of bureaucracy that prevents the hardworking team from developing the game to meet their vision, but it needs to be recognized as a trailblazer of the genre! I hope that you don't view inZoi purely as competition to the Sims, but as a complement- you can fill in the gaps in the game that the Sims doesn't, and vice versa. I one day hope for many different life simulators to be on the market so gamers can find a choice to fit their playstyle!! First, I have to say that I always look forward to another Kjun concern; it's pleasant and welcoming to follow the entire game's process, its obstacles, difficulties, and also learn more about the creator of this project, which is certainly the realization of many – mine, at least. In all your posts, the level of dedication and love for your game is noticeable, and that's so rare lately, where companies see their product only as a means to raise money as quickly as possible, forgetting the essential: fun. They see players only as numbers, completely forgetting to ensure that their product arrives in the best possible shape, thus guaranteeing a better experience for the player. That's why it's a breath of fresh air to see that inZOI is going the completely opposite way: in this game, we can really see the soul of the entire team, from the design team, the sound team, the programming team, and even in parts we don't know about. You really put your heart into it, and as a consumer, I'm very happy and delighted that we also were part of it. Every suggestion and time we dedicated discussing was worth it, and because of that, inZOI will be an even greater success, and don't worry about bugs, we understand perfectly! That said, my sincere thanks to everyone on the team who created this game, and for all the Kjun-concern sessions!

Inzoi is my current hyper fixation and being a sims 1-4 player and patiently but eagerly waiting on patalives since 2018, I don't know how I just heard about this game in the last week, but I'm honestly so glad that I myself haven't had to wait too long as it's all I can think about. I'm currently building a new pc just to play this game. I can't wait to play, experience, and admire all the diligent work of you and your team.

I do look forward to Early Access. But I've been in enough betas and early access launches that I'm also walking into this eyes wide open.

There will be bugs. There will be terrible bugs that are so rare it's only when hundreds of thousands of players each in their own chaotic ways do things no one was ever supposed to try that you find them.

And that's okay. That's the point, even. So be nervous, but also be proud. You're about to release one impressive game to the world.

It won't be done, version 1.0 may even be far out, but it will be out there. In player hands. And that is something to celebrate.

And when I do find a way to break the game horribly, I'll report it. I am so very good at falling through geometry holes in games, so expect me to do that.

When I first found out about the project of Inzoi back in late 2023 I was super excited and happy to hear about it. Then as 2024 came along I heard more about the game and seen early play testing for the game. There was only one world and I was so excited still even with not much to see. To see how far the development had come the second time around and watching YouTubers do a second play test made me even more happy and excited to see how dedicated the devs of inzoi were to give us an amazing game. I truly do appreciate all your hard work and I am very grateful that the team has listened to what the people want. First of all, I want to clarify that I am not a person who makes comments and participates so actively in social networks and groups since I already think that my comments or my contributions are not going to generate any impact with so many active members!. But believe me, I am incredibly excited about the development of the game and I am always on the lookout for new updates and Kjun's posts. I really feel and have the need to confess that since I found out about the existence of the game (approximately 1 and a half years ago). I can't stop thinking about it!. You achieved everything you ever wanted in a simulation game that unfortunately other deliveries with years of experience were never able to give us!. I am extremely grateful to the entire Inzoi team and Krafton for all the love, affection and every little detail they are putting into it. The community is really very happy that after so long we are being listened to and given the opportunity to participate so actively!. I have no words to thank you for everything!. We are prepared for anything, we are aware that it is Early Access and that there will probably be bugs but that is where we will be to support you. Fr! Sims 4 may be a very flawed game, but there is a reason we all fell in love with life simulations after all. I'm sure many of us have some wonderful memories, especially with the earlier games. We wouldn't be here without the innovations of those who originally decided to take a chance.

I cannot even imagine how difficult Sims 1 must have been to develop at the time. It was incredibly ballsy to even attempt, but it lead the way for generations of life sims. I feel InZOI is in a similar position, leading the way for generations of life sims to come.
It is the beginning of a new era, carrying all the wonderful innovations and memories of the last 25 years, discarding the bad ones, and creating new ones. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in this new era! 🙇‍♀️

I agree regarding spring is getting here. It is getting warmer right now, even though we still have more days of winter. The sim community has always been extremely pressuring towards the developers of any life simulation game, and now that their eyes are all watching how this game development is evolving I can understand why you feel nervous!
Unfortunately, many people don't want to accept that life simulators are just games as many others and that replicating the real world in all of its aspects and variety is an impossible thing to do. I personally appreciate that your team is lending a hear to what all of us would like for this game to become, but I would personally prefer if you guys could just proceed your own way for now, also because I don't want for you guys to have a breakdown!
As far as I could see, the game looks enjoyable enough for now, so it's just time to focus on making the game bug-free, stable and enjoyable. There's alway time to add other details later anyway, and there's also no need of turning it into a copycat of The Sims.

I can only imagine how nervous you all are, so many people have such insanely high and unrealistic expections for this game. However, do not forget, you cannot please everyone. Things are going to be wanted that aren't in the game at drop or are impossible altogether, this is always the case because some people just can't be happy with what they have. However, so many of us are just so thrilled that we get to be apart of this amazing creation that you and your team have worked tirelessly on, poured your blood, sweat, and tears in, countless hours, and your heart and soul. The game may not be out yet, but I can already see and tell that so much love and care and thought has been put into making a game, not to rival another one, but as a sort of homage to it. Happy Bug Hunting! InZOI, from what I've seen, looks to be fixing all the problems I have with the Sims. When I played around with InZOI to create a character, it already did so much more than the Sims could do. Something as small as tucking in your shirt. Of course, there will be little bugs at launch, and I'm sure there you all will still have so much work to do on the game to make it complete, but the players know and understand that. Heck, look at the Sims 4 when it launched; there were no pools, no toddlers, etc. And don't get me started on all the bugs I run into on The Sims 4 TODAY. We know you and your team have worked extremely hard! We're excited for the next big life simulation game.

I really would like an option to turn off aging in the settings or something. As I personally love being in control of my inzois loves 100% and when they age up or die. Also, I become attached to families i make and just want to keep them for good.

Also, building. Can we have curved walls and floors easier to put down? Also, more roofing options like an octagon roof? I am a Victorian home builder. So I would LOVE stained glass windows or an option to add atain glass to windows and more gable decorations. Also, slimmer windows to go on the side of octagon walls, if that makes sense.

Why did you go with this strange romanization for Korean names, instead of the official Revised Romanization of Hangul, to which we are all used?
Why Eonjae Yoon instead of "Yun"? But it's not consistent, there's a Jihun Kim.
What about "Zhonghui Zheng" instead of "Jang Jeong-hui"... is that woman supposed to be Chinese? Probably yes.

I was watching a streamer and had some feedback, but you don't have any areas open for it, so I thought I'd share it here. The streamer had a box come up with a timer for them to read it and click their choice. But they weren't aware of the timer right away, and struggled to read it all on time. This has me anxious as the streamer was unable to pause the clock, once it started. Id suggest you add a way to pause that clock. You can use the same key as you use to pause the game. This would allow stress free reading, unrushed decision making, and allow streamers to read it aloud, and even to poll their audience, if they chose to do so.

Good morning, I saw the post that the developer made thanking and apologizing for the current state of the game, but I believe that he shouldn't apologize because most of the criticisms are from The Sims 4 militants who are hurting because the game is wonderful. Every intelligent person knows that the game is in early access
and that it still has a lot to grow. So certain types of criticism saying that it has no content, that it has no soul, that the realism takes it all away, is all envy. Ignore those people who are just spreading hate on the net. The game is wonderful, it's beautiful and it has a lot to grow.

If you are still reading this, can I request that wr be able to size up or down the injects we make with the 3d printer? I made a tiffany stained glass table lamp. It came out huge! I would love to be able to size it down and actually be able to put it on a table. But there aren't even options to put stuff on tables (a move objects on chest would be great with a button to raise the object).

And a way to make stained glass windows.

Feel like you only care about the content creators. You open a contest only creators can enter. Lock an item in this contest, merch and cash. Creators are already more well off than the average person supporting your game. They already get plenty of freebies from you. Then you lock items behind twitch drops. Again giving support to creators that already have an audience without your help. You know expect people to buy a 99% complete game because they will never have access to these items. You’re no better than EA.

No issue with the break. I definitely have an issue with only showing you care about large content creators. That contest is a slap in the face to your player base that actually support your games. Large content creators don’t need a large cash price, special merch, they already get that. Also why lock an item behind that contest only to those lucky content creators. Won’t support a dev who only cares about those lucky few.

My only issue/feedback for right now is the problem I have with my game constantly crashes I have a pc more then good enough to play it but still I'm not able to. I've seen a few people with a Nvidia graphics card have the same issue as me I hope this gets fixed as I love the game

Just saw the post that inzoi has sold over a million copies so far. Fantastic considering its in early access and only one week out of release! I hope this result has gone some way to ease the nervousness you had before the release. It's a brilliant game - I can even surf! 👍🏻 🙂

It would be awesome to have a movie career system where players can become actors, directors, or screenwriters. We could create and film movies, attend premieres, win awards, and build fame over time. Imagine writing scripts, choosing scenes, casting Zois, and walking the red carpet! 🌟
