While many of you were probably eagerly waiting for a new weekly update on inZOI through Kjun’s Concerns, I want to use this week’s post for something which I believe is just as valuable.

About three weeks ago, I shared a personal concern—how to express my appreciation for our hard-working development team.

While I truly appreciated all of your wonderful suggestions, one idea stood out to me: relaying the voices of our community to our developers, so they can truly see how much their work means to you all.

It’s always humbling to receive supportive messages from everyone here as I communicate through Kjun’s Concerns. So when I saw this particular suggestion, I knew it was the perfect way to show our team just how much they are appreciated.

Developing inZOI has been no easy feat. Every day, our team spent countless hours tackling unexpected issues while striving to maintain stability in this unpredictable world of life simulation. One thing is certain: creating a life simulation game just might be one of the greatest challenges one can take in game development.

That's why instead of asking for your ideas on a specific topic, I want to ask those who are willing to write your heartfelt, personal message to our developers. Share what inZOI means to you—whether as a life simulation player or a gamer in general—and anything else you want to tell them 😊

I’ll collect as many of your messages as I can, have them translated into Korean, and deliver them at an appropriate moment so our entire team can truly understand how much they are appreciated by people all around the world!

I must emphasize that this request is not for messages directed at me (though I could never get tired of your kind words 😂) but specifically for our unsung heroes—every member of our Art Team, Tech Team, Game Design Team, and everyone else who has made their contribution to making inZOI a reality.

With just six weeks left until we showcase the game to the world, I can’t wait to see all of your messages and to witness how our members will react to them!

Ich bin spieler der aller ersten Sims Generation. Ich war so klein, ich habe Grundrisse auf Blätter gemalt, wenn ich nicht am PC spielen durfte. Während der Entwicklung der diversen Sims spiele war ich immer dabei. Ich habe so gut wie jeden Kontent, den man in diesem Genre haben kann. Und trotzdem seid ihr seit langer Zeit die ersten, die es geschafft haben, das ich mich auch einen Releasday super stark freue. Ich habe bisher so wie alle anderen nur die Trailer gesehen und war schon bei dem aller ersten wirklich überwältigt von dem was ihr dort schafft. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf das Spiel. Ich bin voller Vorfreude.

Ich weiß, ich muss das nicht erwähnen, aber ich denke kaum einer von uns Spielern kann auch nur annähernd nachempfinden, wie viel Arbeit in diesem Spiel steckt. Wir können es nur erahnen. Until a few weeks ago I discovered Inzoi. J'habite dans une résidence sociale qui se spécialise dans l'accueil des personnes avec troubles psychiques. Ce n'est pas un foyer d'accueil médicalisé, nous sommes tous autonomes dans notre quotidien et capable de travailler.
Beaucoup des résidents ont, comme on pourrait s'y attendre, une passion débordante pour les jeux vidéos, qu'ils soient sur ordinateur ou sur console.
Et pourtant, une amoureuse de la nature et des oiseaux vous a mentionné elle-aussi. Et elle était mieux informée que certains d'entre nous.
Nous en parlions déjà entre nous, mais pas en sa présence puisque nous savons que son attention se cantonne aux habitants des forêts.

Pourquoi j'ai choisi cette histoire en particulier ? Si vous connaissez des personnes autistes, vous savez combien il est difficile de susciter l'intérêt d'une personne autiste pour un sujet sans lien avec ses loisirs personnels.
Et il y a peu de rapport entre InZoi et les oiseaux. Si ce n'est que les animaux du jeu sont magnifiques à regarder.
Donc vous touchez un public bien plus large que les jeux vidéos plus ordinaires.
Et c'est sans mentionner le bien que ce jeu, avec son soucis du détail et du réalisme, fera à toutes les personnes avec autisme qui ont beaucoup de difficulté à distinguer les émotions sur les visages. Votre jeu a aussi une utilité dans l'assistance aux personnes handicapées.

Sur une note plus personnelle, est-ce qu'on vous a déjà remercié pour votre professionnalisme ? Je le fais. Je n'ai pas de mots pour exprimer mon sentiment, mais sachez que j'apprécie beaucoup le respect dont vous faites montre dans vos échanges, même si je sais que, pour vous, ça fait partie du boulot.

Hi devs! I'm so thankful that you're being one of the bravest in the industry and be one of the first that give us player another lifesim we can enjoy! The communication has been truly amazing, and even though you're the ones making the game, you make the community feel like we are as involved as you are, and I thank you all for that! It's so rare recently that big studios care about their players as you do. The visuals are amazing, and while being realistic, are not weird or creepy, instead it is really beautiful. The hairstyles and clothes are something that I'd actually wear in real life, and I hope we will get more options too, because I think this could be the life sim everyone can really design themselves or the character they imagine in the best possible way! ( PS: To make it easier, please give us presets for eyes, mouth, nose and cheeks, I beg you!🤣)
I love that you give us player freedom by having an open world, color wheels and even giving us the ability to make our own clothes in the game!!😍
This game finally seems to show some innovation in mechanics, which is soooo rare and I'm glad that there are so many creative minds behind the game!
One thing I definitely want to mention is the soundtrack! The character creation demo had such a relaxing effect on me, because the music that was playing in the background. If the sound in the game is just as half as good as this, I'll be more than happy!😊

I have never yet played Inzoi, so I can't share experiences with it, but I can share my experiences playing other life sim games like it. I began playing them almost 25 years ago. I am a person with a disability, and these games made it possible for me to create whole stories and worlds, from my wheelchair. I am a natural story teller and a creative person, but also one who will go into detail to research a house style to build it accurately. So I will test your build tools with how easy it is to build a hobbit hole, and a Victorian mansion soon after I get them. And I will probably try and play a rags to riches, when I start with nothing but the clothes on my zoi's back, or other challenges. Maybe I'll be able to do an apocalypse challenge, with your world tools. It's going to be fun and I can't wait!

I wanted to give you, as devs, a different perspective on what inZoi means and what it will enable me personally to do that I can't do in real life. I live with multiple chronic health conditions. I share my health concerns openly as I am a voice to many who are too scared to share. I live with myasthenia gravis, cushings disease, spinal problems, Epilepsy, an Immunodeficiency, and other health problems. InZoi will give me the opportunity to do things through my Zoi(s) that I unfortunately can't do in everyday life as I am disabled. This is absolutely amazing! Being very isolated due to my health, I sometimes only leave the house once a month. I can't drive. I can't really cook anymore. I can't enjoy many hobbies that I once loved (like singing light opera). However, games like inZoi have given me the ability to live beyond my own physical scope of life. I believe inZoi is going to take that to a whole new, amazing level! So as you work on inZoi these last few weeks, please remember what an amazing opportunity you're giving people like me. Your hard work, dedication, and I'm sure countless hours of strategizing, is going to make a difference in the life of many people in ways you can't imagine! I have the same belief too in the way playing the Sims and other life simulation games helps me distance myself from the difficulties of daily life. Doing things in game, like cooking healthy meals or having a clean enough home, make them feel less scary in a way. It brings a bit of self-compassion too because by respecting Zois' needs, we learn to respect ours too.
Simple things like that can have a big effect on people, in a good way.

This is simply my my view and down the road genuine concern, Inzoi’s aging system is too simplistic, dividing life into broad stages instead of supporting a rich, multigenerational narrative. Without more detailed life stages or gradual aging, I’ll be forced to track ages manually or rely on mods, creating fragmented and unstable gameplay. Even the rumored Sims 4 aging sliders show a demand for more nuanced mechanics, and without similar updates, I fear Inzoi will weaken the depth and authenticity of its generational storytelling.

When I first heard of Inzoi I was still deep into the sims. And tbh I love the franchise but since The Sims 4 came out it feels like they’ve been taking the fan base for granted. Then came Inzoi, a game that seemed to do all the things that made The Sims 4 fall short. After the first trailer I knew I’d be getting this game day 1 and leaving the Sims. I’m willing to take a chance on Inzoi because I love this genre and lately the Sims has lost me in every way. I have some news and request for the Devs, My husband and I were so excited for this game, but on day one his character that he spent time creating and when he finally got into the game for the first time and was trying to figure out the game, the night of day one his character died, apparently of natural cuases and that to me is not a good thing to have in a game that someone's character can die on the first day, it really leaves a sour taste in the mouth when that happens, also you need to fix the karma thing. Please give us a way to control our character's karma. Also get rid of that they can die on the first day. I mean charging $40.00 for a game, where someone can lose their character on the first day, is not a good thing to have in a video game!

Is something like this planned for the future?

Hi Inzoi Team,

I’m really enjoying the game and appreciate all the creativity that’s gone into it. I do have a few suggestions that I think could make the experience even more immersive and realistic:
1. Checkout Options in Stores
It would be great if Zois could choose between paying with cash or card when checking out at the register.
2. Park Performances
The constant random singing from the same Zoi all day can get a little repetitive. Is it possible for zoi to react to talent like clap or dance.
3. Music Variety
It would be amazing if actual songs (with vocals) were include
4. Theme Park Improvements

•    Allow multiple Zois to ride together.
•    Add an option to buy multiple ride tickets at once at the ticket booth.
•    Make the rides more immersive—right now, you hear screaming, but the Zois don’t physically react. It would be more realistic if they threw their hands in the air, leaned side to side, or showed excitement.

5.    Zoi Thoughts and Emotions

It’s hard to tell what the Zois are thinking or feeling during chats. Adding emotion bubbles, facial expressions, or thought indicators would help bring them to life and make storytelling more engaging.
6. Food & Walking

•    Let Zois eat while walking.
•    Allow multiple Zois to place food orders while waiting in line instead of just one at a time.

7.    Driving Features

•    Add a radio in the cars so we can play music while driving.
•    Include a GPS feature to show the destination without constantly switching back to the map.

Dear Devs, can you tone down the DUST? I'm vaccuming 3 x a day and still have a yicky house when my Zois sleep.

Also, the Calendar, Every family member goes to a different Event. This I dont understand. Why wouldn't a Family ALL go to the same Event to spend time with Each other since school and Work takes up a lot of their days.

I've gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed with a lot of interactions available out there, here are some examples:

• can't eat and drink at once, gotta finish eating to start drinking,
• can't clean all dishes at once like in the sims, gotta carry each plate to the sink separatelly,
• can't hug on a sofa,
• can't go to sleep straight after making love, gotta stand up from bed and get back in,
• biggest crime: can't snuggle in bed while sleeping.
  There are probably a lot more small things like that, that should be a no brainer, cuz they were in probably every sims game out there, but I can't think of them atm.
  So yeah, I'm a bit disappointed... I hope you can add those in soon. And don't even get me started on how few clothes there are available, nothing was added since the 1st character editor demo like half a year ago. I need like a whole room of heels alone 😂
  The game is nice but it feels pretty barebones so far, I get it's an early access and we gotta be patient, but I'm pretty bad with being patient, so I'm here to drop my thoughts. 😜

Life sim games have always been my personal escape, my way of finding peace when the world around me feels overwhelming. Whenever things feel out of control, I know I can turn to inZoi and immerse myself in a space I’ve crafted with care. It’s a world where I can find comfort in stability and creativity (bugs and all, which I totally understand, especially with a new game. It’s all part of the journey, and I appreciate the effort being put into it!).

What makes this experience so special to me is the level of detail and freedom it offers. I’ve always loved games where I can customize every little thing. I’ll happily spend hours building a single character, designing their home, crafting their outfits, shaping their relationships—and for the first time, I feel like a game has truly captured the depth and richness of that creative freedom. The character creation, clothing design, furniture crafting, and world-building are absolutely next-level.

inZoi has given me a place where my imagination can run free, where I can create something entirely my own. It’s not just a game, it’s a safe space, a creative haven, and honestly, something really special to me. I’ve never been this awestruck by a game, nor have I ever anticipated a release like I did with this one.

To the developers and everyone who poured their heart into making this: thank you. Truly. You’ve given people like me a meaningful, beautiful place to come home to.

I would like for the Zoi's to be able to watch tv as a family, not have to have 2 tv's to watch a learning channel.
