I've been looking for Osomatsu-san models, as using models of different characters voiced by the same voice actors hasn't produced similar enough results yet... I'm working on some high effort cover projects for YouTube (no monetization, just for fun) and can credit the creator of the models.

I'm using Synthv as a base for the covers. I need the voices from the original Japanese voice actors

I'm asking since I have no experience creating models myself

Hey—cool project.

You’re probably not going to find accurate Osomatsu-san voice models using the original VAs floating around publicly. Most high-quality ones are private or never released for legal reasons.

If you want that level of accuracy, you’re realistically looking at training your own model or commissioning someone who already does character voice work. Otherwise, SynthV + similar-tone voices is about as close as it gets.

Still, respect for putting in the effort—those covers aren’t easy.

Yeah, I figured as much… Thank you in any case! So far I’ve had realistic results for Osomatsu, Choromatsu and Todomatsu using models for other characters that have their voice actors, but it’s because they have a more generic tone of voice I suppose. Ichi, Kara and Jyushi are more of a challenge so I’ll probably look into making my own models.

Yeah, that makes sense those three are definitely trickier since their voices are way more stylized.
If you do decide not to go the DIY route, I actually know someone who takes on voice model work and might be able to help you get closer to what you’re aiming for. I can point you their way if you want.
Either way, sounds like you’re already getting solid results keep at it.
