#Illegal Cuda Core Usage crashing OBS and my entire system?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
What is your PC GPU? Which W-Okada version are you trying to use? And are you sure OBS Studio is up to date?
PC GPU is a 4090 MSI x Gaming Trio - This is happening specifically with server processing as it stops detecting it within the "Server Info" tab
The fork is a form of detris - https://github.com/tg-develop/voice-changer
There's no form of file to launch to decomplie to figure everything out, I've gone to like 7 different coder friends over the past few months and no one can help me for a myriad of reasons
To add clarification to this, OBS is not at fault as I had it closed and it still happened 9 hrs ago as well
It is very inconsistent and random when it happens
Try another voice changer program, Vonovox, and observe if Vonovox might throw the similar error as well. If OBS Studio, W-Okada fork and Vonovox all show the same error about "CUDA" or "NVENC (Nvidia encoder)", it has to happen with your graphics hardware or GPU driver, themselves.
The problem with that is that it usually happens once every 2 months but sometimes it more frequent like once every 2 days but that’s very rare, trying to capture the error is really hard
