Deiteris' w-okada fork RuntimeError

i’ve been trying to make deiteris’ fork of w-okada work for a few days now, and i keep getting a RuntimeError saying “Failed to find NodeArg with name: skip_head in the def list.” i’ve tried reinstalling the whole thing multiple times while following the guide in case it would fix the issue, but nothing worked. it did start working once on its own, but after a restart the same issue came back.

There has been a newer version of Deiteris W-Okada, but is made by a different author; that one is Tg Develop W-Okada fork. i did try that before i went with deiteris. it worked better than w-okada, but i missed okada’s ui, not because it was easier to understand but because vonovox’s ui was pretty glitchy. thanks for recommending it tho

Wokada deiteris fork doesn't get updates since the 7th December 2024

Wdym with glitchy? I didn't see anyone having issues with Vonovox's UI

when playing around with tune and stuff, vonovox would freeze and become unresponsive, and sometimes when scrolling through the ui the options would overlap each other (idk how to explain it properly)

same RuntimeError as deiteris. i don’t really understand what this error means, but could it be happening because w-okada is still on my system?

You could try extract MMVCServerSIO folder to somewhere like "D:/MMVCServerSIO" or C:/Users/user/Downloads/MMVCServerSIO" but not on your desktop folder, then double click to run the MMVCServerSIO.exe (not right click and run as administrator). Otherwise, it has to happen with your system.

But if you have extracted Tg Develop W-Okada, any other W-Okada version or other unrelated ones overriding in the same folder, better not doing that, because certain files from different versions might conflict each other. To extract a complete MMVCServerSIO, you can delete the earlier one or make copies for different versions.

all 3 are in their own separate folders, and i tried the path thing you mentioned before, but nothing seems to help. guess my laptop just sucks. it’s fine tho, thanks for trying to help me out

Reinstalling Windows 11 from start would be your only last resort at this point, but to do this you'd have to backup your data before doing so.

never had or saw anyone report this issue, be sure to also stop other apps in background and leave only the essentials, check the system tray too

so just vonovox and the other app you're using it in

if it's a game, play at the lowest settings

ok apparently using pytorch models works but the onnx ones don’t

Pth files generally work in both Deiteris/Tg Develop W-Okada forks and Vonovox. The onnx is for DirectML the AMD/Intel GPU variant of W-Okada.
