#what do i do
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
yeah that's a normal thing, you have to manually setup the audio devices for vac lite as said in wokada deiteris fork
i'm guessing you mean wokada deiteris fork, since "fork thingy" just means modified version in tech field
btw what's your pc gpu and operating system?
that's false positive that may detect most Python-based applications
whats a operating system
and yeah, wokada deiteris fork is open source, that's just a false positive
do i turn my avg off
are you on windows 10 or 11?
11
An operating system (OS) is the core software that manages a computer's hardware and software resources, acting as an interface between the user and the computer's physical components
Windows is an OS with different versions
great
for windows nvidia users, vonovox is more suggested than wokada deiteris fork
because it still gets performance updates
if you followed youtube/video tutorials, be aware they are all outdated btw
is it almost the same as the wokada deiteris fork
i only watch youtube tutorials
it uses RVC AI STS Voice Models, it still gets performance updates, while wokada deiteris fork doesn't get updates from 7th december 2024
that's bad, forget about any youtube tutorial for ai realtime voice changers, they are all old
ok

Guides for Programs that use RVC Models in Realtime for Calls/Games
A Realtime Voice Changer with similar performance to Wokada Deiteris Fork, with extra features, but supported only for Nvidia GPUs on Windows. and without cloud options GUIDE
A personal fork (modified version) of Wokada Deiteris Fork, it just adds some Quality of Life improvements to it like supporting Spin Embedder and Audio Effects. Don't expect too much about it since the creator made it originally as a personal project. GUIDE
Most suggested WebUI with the best general support for many platforms. GUIDE
For Windows Nvidia, Both Wokada Deiteris fork and Vonovox have similar performance & quality. Users should read the pros and cons for both and choose based on their differences, such as UI and Vonovox's paid effects.
Read Wokada Deiteris Fork Pros&Cons & Vonovox Pros&Cons
These options are not recommended for use.
Not suggested, older versions in youtube tuts are even way worse. GUIDE
The program is worse compared to the ones above, and much less updated. GUIDE
you can read the vonovox guide
the virtual audio cable lite is explained in the same vonovox guide, id suggest you to read it to understand how to use that too
@pine folio what do i do after i start.bat
as long as you got a decent microphone, it should work fine
upload your model
use rmvpe or swift
is the fa507nu built in mic good
- vonovox:
- input: microphone
- output: line 1
other programs:
- input: line 1
- output: headphones
not sure since I don't have that, in case even a decent headphones would be fine
you don't need a 1k ultra deluxe microphone
but neither a 99 cents microphone off temu
i mean also any headphones with microphone in it
i dont hab too
then if you got only your built in microphone, just try it and see how it goes
be aware also to play with the pitch and different models
and rvc can't usually do non speech sounds always perfectly, such as screams/laughs
what does all this do
Ohhh
can i hear myself
or i cant?
- Output volume: Controls how loud the output volume is.
- Pitch: This is the pitch. Going into negative will make it lower pitch (masculine), going higher will make it higher pitch (feminine). If you have a male voice using a female voice, aim for 10 - 14, this depends on your voice, try around those numbers until you find a sweet spot.
- Formant: Alters harmonic frequencies and changes the voice timbre without affecting the pitch (AKA Formant Shift).
- Index Rate: This controls the accent of the voice model. In most cases, using Index on Realtime Voice Changer can add realism if you speak the language the model was trained in. If you have a heavy foreign accent, you may use this at a low rate. Beware, this increases CPU usage

did you use the workaround method explained in the docs?
theres no listen on the properties
can you show a screenshot?
this
close that one, open line 1 from the recording tab
did u click apply and ok?
yeah
did u click start in vonovox?
yeah
show your whole recording and playback tab
uninstall vb audio cable https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uninstall-or-remove-apps-and-programs-in-windows-4b55f974-2cc6-2d2b-d092-5905080eaf98
Uninstall or remove apps and programs in the Settings app.
did you do it?
now, in both your recording and playback tab, set your usual devices as default devices
- playback: click your usual output device -> click set as default -> apply
- recording: click your usual input device -> click set as default -> apply
the usual output device is the device in vonovox?
if yes i did it
no, your usual device is the usual device used normally, like your built in speakers
the input is the line 1?
show a screenshot of your settings
no, your usual input device in the recording tab
set extra time to 3
play with the pitch and try different models
about echo, lower your pc volume, it might be related because built in microphones aren't that good
i want to make my voice as deep as possible
you can play with the pitch setting it lower and try different models
there isn't a perfect pitch or model
the echo worked
this model sounds pretty good
so it's all good now?
what does the formant do again'
- Formant: Alters harmonic frequencies and changes the voice timbre without affecting the pitch (AKA Formant Shift).
you most likely would rather use pitch than formant tho
if i lower my laptop volume will they hear me like normal
i mean u can try that to not get echo
but it would be better to have a decent headphone
i have one but i forgot where
I mean I can't do much about that 😭 goodluck finding it
whats a tg develop wokada fork
that's another rvc ai realtime voice changer, a wokada modified version from tg-develop
it's not in active development like vonovox
are you talking about the quality difference between vonovox and wokada tg-develop's fork?
i mean
uhh
no
does my voice changer sounds better on discord than hearing myself
I mean it shoould sound the same
do i make my input line 1 in discord
and my mic on output
yes
no, your headphones as output in discord
i dont have headphones
using normal speakers could leak to the mic, causing echoing
i set my volume to 10
it still echoes like that?
i mean, if it still echoes sometimes, you can't do much other than using headphones
if you dont want to use headphones, you can set the output as your usual built in speakers
the output in the vonovox?
no, in discord
get some cheap ones in temu
uh
cheap 99 cents one won't be that good
i found a 60 cents one in temu
😭
try different models and pitches
there are thousands of models
and there isn't a perfect pitch value
idk where to get a corpse husband voice model
what does the extra time do
