I Need of Super Tech Assistance/Ideas

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to go about this particular problem, I'd appreciate it.

I have a friend who, unfortunately, lost their voice years ago. They use tech to speak now so they sound like your typical waa waa robot. They want to sound more normal on the net so they were using crappy software that didn't help too much.

Trying to use Okada with a better voice to help them out but obviously running into the issue of them sounding "better" but having that synthetic speaking through a pvc pipe sound to it.

Any ideas?

If there are recording of his original voice, then a TTS with voice cloning will do

That would be great is she had that luxury of previous recordings. Looking more so to not have the delay of S-T-S because it's not like they can't talk, just looking to try something to remove the synthetic sound.

it is unlikely a realtime voice changer would fix.
