Because of how long it has taken for GPT-5 it has to be groundbreaking for it to actually not cause massive dissapointment. I'll be more impressed by it's over all general understanding/thinking and how grounded it is in reality.
Can it just go out and do stuff for me and provide really high quality stuff?
Can it work with tools like unreal engine and understand the current version, not mix things up and work with advanced programs and workflows in professional areas. ect.

But overall if it is great at programming, good. Automation means you need less hours for the same amount of work. While providing the same value. So overall: relaxation and improved mental health for alot of people. Something to celebrate
