#I'm using a 6800xt and am considering using a voice changer, what app should I use?

you want a realtime voice changer for calls right?
mostly for content creation, but yeah that too
if you’re using a year old wokada version which needed u to install python, ur using an old original wokada version
wdym?
RVC = Retrieval-based-Voice-Conversion, the best Speech To Speech AI Models (on v2), Inferences (use models) pre-recorded audio (ai covers) and train (make) models. Technically, Mainline RVC does have a go-realtime.bat (aka RVC-GUI), but it's pretty messy and outdated so it's extremely not suggested for realtime.
Wokada = uses RVC for realtime inference. There's 2 main versions, Original made by Wok, and the most suggested one is Deiteris Fork (modified version)
do you need wokada or rvc?
like, I'm willing to take the time to render the mp3 if that takes longer
those are 2 different programs for 2 different purposes
wokada is meant for realtime like calls and games
rvc is meant to change the voice of the audio file
like for ai covers or just generally
Oh, I understand. would using either of them require me to install a driver? I'l just dipping my toes and am a smidge concerned over them being difficult to uninstall if it doesn't work out
if you’re talking about updating your gpu drivers then yes ofcourse that!s needed for everything, drivers help the gpu
if you’re talking about dependencies like installing python and other things manually, no, they are already bundled in both programs
You need to choose the program based on what you are going to do
oh sweet, one moment, I have a screenshot here somewhere about the actual concern
send it then
Oh this
I saw it in a tutorial since I hadn't found the github on my own, I have now though and I was just wondering if this driver was a required installation and whether or not it was easy to remove.
And also, how difficult is it to uninstall RVC in general?
A VAC (Virtual Audio Cable) makes a fake audio device, used to re-route the audio of different programs
In Wokada context, it's used to get the output of wokada as the input in other programs
you ALWAYS need one for any voice changer, but not vb audio cable, bc that one has been reported by users to stop overtime
don’t follow video tutorials
video tutorials are outdated asf for rvc and wokada
delete the folder and uninstall the VAC program, our suggested one is vac lite
vac is needed just for wokada, not rvc
rvc and wokada are 2 different programs
oh sweet, but how do I actually go about installing it on AMD? do I actually just click the AMD version and extract it and then its good to go, or is this the wrong file?
do you want to train voice model and/or convert wavs to another voice?
