#Trying to install RVC
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I'm trying to install RVC on my laptop
You sure that's good enough to do it locally (on ur pc) first?
You can check your pc gpu via:
ctrl+shift+esc (task manager) -> Performance tab -> GPU
hey sorry for the late reply, but is this okay?
Ayo? @timber burrow level 1 !!!
your gpu is not really the best, it’s just an rtx 3050 laptop which is known for its poor vram (6gb), you can only inference (use models) locally (on ur pc) but not train (make models). What are you lookin for? I’d suggest you to do it in cloud (remote good pc)
I'm just looking to make AI covers of songs lol, not trying to train my own models. Is it enough?
well enought for that even if won’t be as fast as Ilaria RVC Zero that runs on a better gpu on cloud
the ones in our docs are pre-compiled
or if you just want an easy quick way which u don’t have to install (even if you use it much you will have to wait an hour or two as the zerogpu quota is unlimited), there is ilaria rvc zero

Don't forget to thank Ilaria if you find it useful! 💖
Between Applio and the mainline one, which one would you recommend?
i mean, they are pretty similar, except applio having a simpler ui and tts
