Is this ok/ fair to other artists that create their own stuff

i have a friend making her oc a real character but she can't draw like to the point it looks like a toddler lol so she used an ai service to give her a rough idea like hair color poses and the like and tasked another friend of mine to draw it (this other friend is a pen and paper as well as a digital artist) but the oc uses things from other comic book characters as her oc goes through portals and to other franchises (don't ask me how she'd get the rights to do that she doesn't want to tell me for some reason) but the ai art takes inspo from no one in particular but is instead almost 100% her own ideas

hello!! i think it’s fair that she’s using ai to help visualize her oc, especially since you said she’s not the best at drawing. as long as the ai art is just for personal use or helping her friend draw, that seems totally fine.

the only thing to watch out for is if she’s planning to share or sell the oc and it includes elements from other comic book characters. that could cause some problems with rights, but if it’s her own ideas or used as inspiration, it’s fair in that sense!** (anyone feel free to correct me if i've misspoken )**
