#Is it possible to dedicate part of the GPU performance to W-Okada?

I'll be honest, this is my first time using any software like this.

The voice results are pretty good once I set them up, and don't seem to need a lot of GPU capacity either.

However, the moment I start a heavy game, the voice gets choppy/laggy.

I have a 4090, so I absolutely don't mind tanking some FPS in return for the voice working properly. But I have no idea if it's even possible to prevent other programs from interfering with W-Okada.

Any help/info with this would be greatly appreciated :3

Tbh, I didn't except a response that quickly sweatsip

If you mean the games performance with benchmark, W-Okada had basically no noticeable impact on any of them.

The games that messed up W-Okada were: "Star Citizen, Minecraft (heavily modded), Horizon Forbidden West, and Cyberpunk 2077"

Even if I lower the settings W-Okada still gets choppy/laggy. pusheenthink

  • try fps cap to 60 or 120 or depending on your monitor refresh rate
  • Minecraft (heavily modded) together with the okada could eat up much usage on even high end cpu. try run vanilla mc or an optimized mod like Oculus (an Iris fork) though you can use your fancy shader on it, and without other unnecessary mods that might contribute significant cpu usage.
  • for demanding games, try lower the settings (and you can enable DLSS upscaling when needed)
  • again I'd suggest fork wokada that could take less cpu usage

for example, when I use it with a 300 ms chunk, neither my CPU nor my GPU is by about 20 percent, but when I switch it to 90 ms, my GPU is loaded by about 75 percent. but for some reason, when I use it at 300 ms, I feel like the sound quality is better. is this psychological or does the quality actually decrease when the ms decreases?
