help! vocals sound like they’re gargling water!

Hi, I’ve been trying to figure out why all my vocals sound like they’re gargling water or drowning. I switched models and even used the generic “somegirl” audios and zero progress. I am using a MacBook Pro M3 Max

Are you converting vocals with no music

correct. just voice, no reverb or effects on the vocals.

Yes, tried a totally different model and audio as well. I used the generic “somegirl” that installed on Mangio

what exactly does this mean? I’m using the generic MP3 vocals provided just for test and also .WAV vocals I processed via UVR. does that answer it correctly?
