#I get an error after trying to convert a file
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I had watched a tutorial on how to insert models, but there was one thing I couldn't do as shown in the video. I could not copy the file path so I copied it via file properties. After I press convert, it loads briefly and then shows me an error.

How To Troubleshoot
- Don't simply mention your issue, like "
my rvc is not working". - Describe the step you are on, what you're trying to do, the RVC you're using, a screenshot, etc.
- The more context, the better.
- Don't be desperate. You can ping a Helper, but if they ignore, they aren't available/don't know the answer.
- It's okay if you're frustrated, but don't take it into this server.
- Don't DM without prior consent.
- Don't ask for every little instruction. Put your own effort & test things by yourself.
- Don't ask to ask.
- Check if your answer is a Google search away/on our guides website.
(additional note: if it shows error, show the error message in the console window)
So, as the tutorial showed, I had inserted the downloaded PTH and index files (there are now 2 index files, 1 PTH file and the Gitnore file) in the weights folder. Then I went to the logs folder and created a folder there, where I inserted the 2 index files again.
In the RVC folder I then created another folder called test and inserted the audio track to be processed with the ai. To copy the file path, I went to properties and copied the storage location there. Since I got an error message there, I tried again and left it in the download path and took the location from there as before. Again I got an error.
Ayo? @feral elk level 1 !!!
As far as I understand the error message, it can't find the audio file, but I don't know how to solve the problem
if not sure, download the latest RVC1006Nvidia that may work
I'll give it a try
I have just looked at it and see that there is no weight folder, is that intentional and if so, will the index files be omitted?
nvm, have seen that it is in a different folder now
I have repeated the steps and again the cmd shows that it cannot find anything
you must input full path to a wav file
and make sure it doesnt contain some weird special characters ɫɪk̚ɛ ʈɦɪʂ
made it to the end of the path up to the .wave
from the sound file
