Hello, I was wondering what the best way to do tts for mac locally was. I heard tortoise, tacotron, vits, etc are good, or even pairing RVC with a standard tts or one of those are good, but I'm not sure what's the best and how exactly to set it up. I'd like to easily use it and be able to use it in a project as well. Could somebody help? Thanks.

Best way for AI tts for Mac?
Check #1212368971127590922 those should also work fine on mac but idk honestly
Ok. Tho most of these dont mention anything about rvc, except for microsoft edge. Do the others work with rvc, and how to use rvc tts for mac ?
If not, how do i convert a regular audio file, whether regular speech or tts speech, with rvc? Is there like a pipeline for mac that i can use it in cli or reference it in python code in a project or something?
Btw you can use any tts in that guide and put the generated output tts as an input into rvc to use it
If you want to learn more abt rvc check our docs https://docs.aihub.wtf

If you want a cli version of rvc, you can use https://github.com/blaise-tk/RVC_CLI
There isnt a guide really for that tho
Yeah thats kinda what i was thinking
This doesnt work for mac?
Oh right there isn't a mac installation and idk if @south inlet can add that so i guess not
You can still use applio locally in your mac and put the tts generated aduio as an input and choose a voice model
Oh didnt know that

Maybe you should specify that as people just see linux and windows in the github, just suggesting tho
how exactly does applio work again?
sometimes
can applio be integrated with smth like a library install or api?
and how would this fair with a mac m1 16gb?

alr cool
also, i'm getting errors when I try to follow the setup of this
first error it ignored onnxruntime_gpu==1.15.1 saying no matching versions, which I assume because I'm using the mac m1 that has the gpu integrated with the silicon chip?
And the second error said there was no wget module, so i manually pip installed it. then it gave this big thing:
