Hi all,
I have some experience in making AI covers and do it as a fun side project here and there. I have enough general knowledge to navigate everything to create the song I want.

However, recently I've been noticing songs that use an AI voice, but add custom lyrics in the song. For example: https://youtu.be/wzMX9CR38H0?si=qiz0I7vq1DI5CtfZ, a cover of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" using the battle droid from Star Wars, that implements numerous original lyrics that make Star Wars references.

I want to learn how to incorporate my own original lyrics into existing songs. I have little to no knowledge of how to pursue this, and was hoping there's someone here who can help me. Any help is appreciated, feel free to ping me! Tysm!

I'd say AI cover but honestly I had to re record half of the lyrics myself haha

This is what it would sound like if a B1 Battle Droid covered Girls Just Want To Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. If you like, consider subscribing and checking out our series where we overanalyze The Clone Wars!

check the docs

might help

#

but for what you are trying to do, recording it yourself might be better

to cover the emotion

Awesome, thanks for pointing me in the right direction

That's what I was thinking too. Because with tts you can't really give tone so then it becomes "how do I both get the audio to the right notes for the music and give it the right inflection to match the piece"

yeah

#

with tts you would have to play around with the spelling or use melodyne/something similar to make it fit the melody
