i can't open RVC: "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pydantic'"
when I try to open the file "start_http.bat" to open the program, this error appears
There's a space in a folder name leading to voice-changer
Realtime Voice Changer RVC
rename that to something without spaces
Should work after that
Thanks but it actually has my name and I just covered it, it's edited. There are no spaces 😅
I'm talking about the other folder
Unless your user name also contains spaces
You mean this space right? Yes, I just darkened it with black to cover it, it doesn't contain spaces
Ayo? @worldly yoke level 2 !!!
Nope
!
Oh ok ok. Let me check because I also think this is an old ss because I followed the discord tutorial now and removed the files from that custom folder
Brb
@flat depotYes, I moved the folder to the desktop as in the discord tutorial and the problem continues :(
I installed python, I installed those pydantic packages, I updated some things there but the program still doesn't recognize it, I don't know what's going on
voice-changer comes with it's own python install
Which shouldn't be broken to begin with
. But that's why it's not detecting anything you installed
The problem started before installing python and although I don't think it is the problem, I can try uninstalling it to see what happens
You extracted all the contents of the zip right ?
Yes, I normally click "extract here" inside a created empty folder, and then I took it out of that custom folder to paste it on the desktop and follow the Discord tutorial
this is the folder on the desktop
Really not sure what's up with it then
I don't know if I downloaded an unstable beta version, I will try to download previous versions to see if it works
Thanks for the help fired 🔥 🔥
Honestly this has never been seen before
And the error is rather unhelpful lol
When I wrote the error in the discord comment search engine I was hoping to find a comment that said "this is how I solved the pydantic error" which is the one I have, or something like that XD
@flat depotI discovered the cause of the problem XD
I was deleting the last part of the directory where the zip would be extracted to prevent an additional folder from being created, but that folder was key so that all the packages and files would fit where they should. It's something I used to do in previous versions of Windows when extracting things from zips/winrar and stuff, but I see that I have to change those habits
thanks again for the help 👍
