#Ultimate Vocal Remover Model Recommedations
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
There's actually a github discussion where they talk about this and they came up with this "pipeline" ,if you will, for clean extraction. I've only ever done the vocals, but my experience was been good so far. I will say that for extremely vocal-dominant songs, sometimes the step where you do the MXT-NET and VR Karaoke model ensemble will completely remove a good portion of the vocals, but you shouldn't run into that issue too much on a normal basis.
Ayo? @soft field level 1 !!!
Here's a link to the github discussion if you want to see it for yourself: https://github.com/Anjok07/ultimatevocalremovergui/discussions/689
If you're not looking for that level of detail or work, just Kim Vocals is pretty good on its own
It should already be installed for you. I think it comes when you download UVR
Its formatted as "v4 | htdemucs"
ooh
guhh kinda outdates
if your pc is weak use voc ft
otherwise use mdx23c
yes thats the high quality one but usually demucs vocal stems have quite a bit of noise/instrumental residue in them which you have to know how to remove
they prolly changed the name on that
wdym
when do they post this pic? I think there are better model substitutions
November 2023, so it’s probably a little outdated considering how fast AI has been moving recently
mdx23c
Is not on the list
you have to download it
there is a place to enter vip code
ooh
idk then, works for me at least
update uvr
where did you try install it?
no the model
it showed up now
Ayo? @fair pilot level 4 !!!

not really, it's better for cleanups of studio stuff and has no 17k cutoff iirc
Question, like are the denoise models on UVR good
for stuff like, i made a recording on my phone's mic
and its a little noisy due background noise and i wanna clean it
is UVR good for it?
are you using this flow?
Kim Vocal 1 + MDX23C-InstVox HQ + MDX23C-InstVox HQ 2 + UVR-MDX-NET-Voc_FT + htdemucs_ft - Ensemble Algorithm: Avg/Avg
sth close to that
