#EPOCH

Its suggested to use the Tensorboard to get the right amount of epochs, where are you training on ?
ik i have no idea how to do that
on rvc v2 disconnected
Yea i mean,online or locally?
Ohh
When you train, under the output there should be a tensorboard ,do you see it?
all i see is 2 norms
Ayo? @lofty latch level 3 !!!
also the tensorboard closes when i stop training
Dont stop mid training, let it finish, you should put like 500 epochs and use the Tensorboard to see where it overtrains, when it does stop the training
Show?
ah ok
1
look for "g/total" at the top
its at max now
And keep refreshing the chart data and fit the data to the graph while training, see when it overtrains and stop when it does
how do i know whats overtraining
so at 10k
and what do i do when it gets to 10k
how do i know the amount of epoches needed from this
No no, thats an example
You need to check where the line starts rising after hitting the minimum value at the bottom, at that point thats when it overtrains like in the imsge
ok ill just let run it for like 10 mins and ill check if i see it
probably wont cause im not sure
when i see these 2 lines happening or what
im actually clueless
It happens when that red line hits the lowest point in the graph, and starts going up again, that part where it goes up, its overtraining so you can stop
this or no?
yea no, think only of the red visible line, not the transparent one, wait still
ah ok
btw, you might wanna see this more specific guide if you got any questions https://rentry.org/RVC_making-models
THIS WAS ALL TESTED ON THE Mangio-RVC-Fork WITH THE F-RVC-exp CONTINUATION FORK OF Mangio-RVC-Fork
(From what I know, each fork logs differently for TensorBoard)
