Make a pinned post in in the request-models channel linking weights.gg

think i mentioned this before but idk.
basically, link weights.gg and mention that check if a model already exists or not and only request a model (doesnt matter free or paid) only if its a) bad, b) you want a better one, c) it doesnt exist at all

idk if im just tired and going crazy. but i think this was already mentioned once and the explanation on why its not a thing was that pinned posts disappear after a while (?)

dont think thats the case tbh, even if. thats better than nothing. most people probably learn about weights late or dont read anything and go straight to the request channel thinking aihub is a non profit just waiting for people to request models and deliver them instantly

i was mainly talking about free requests or pretty much any kind of request for that matter

also

if a model already exists its scamming in my opinion if you charge to make them a already existing model

if they are aware the model already exists and they still want a new or better one, then its fine. But at the very least inform them first

the majority make a request thinking its the search channel or for people to link the models to them when they are supposed to use the search channel for that

but how are they supposed to know that lol

their fault if they dont read the signs and guides but yknow

just include it using automaze or something
