#Music Bug?

Hi! i´m not sure if it´s only me, but i have a problem when i want to start a match on single player with the music, when i first kick the door the music bugs and stops, doesn´t matter what i do, if i continue playing or anything. The music only comes back when i´m in the menu screen. Does someone knows how to fix it? (i want to add that i tried to close the game and even instaled it again)

Oop yeah, same high pitch breaking point

To add to the bug report : sound actually comes back for a couple seconds if you manage to trigger enough cutscenes in a row that it unloads whatever breaks the sound

In practice that means giving a deadly blow with a sawed off barrel
Dealer death cutscene + win cutscene + barrel reappears cutscene

Sound breaks no matter the game mode, campaign, DoN, or multi-player

Multi breaks the moment the scene loads on screen

It's not just the music either, it's all the sound, including sound effects

I checked the command logs and nothing looks out of the ordinary when it breaks or repairs itself for a few seconds

I think there's an object in the 3D scene that when loaded overrides the game's ability to play sounds

I couldn't say what it is tho

Nothing I did ever fixed it, even manually deleting the files

And I have no idea what triggered it, it just started breaking one day

after fidling with the files:
it'S the low pass filter
wth lmao

somehow when the filter control deactivates it, it breaks all audio

the low pass max breaks if it's too high
at aroung 8000-8010 there is a super loud high pitch sound that I think if the low pass allows to get loud enough breaks the audio

@woeful tulip @warm smelt i was able to fix it! With a post from here, i'll post it down as a response too in case ppl haven't figure out how to fix it
