can't pick up shotgun / items

Linux version v2.2.0 steam

sometimes happens that I can't pick up anything, neither the shotgun or items. I just can move my head around
I dont know how to replicate at all, it's casual ig

A player theorized that this happens when you press ESC in multiplayer, we're not sure about this just yet, so your logs are very helpful to us 🥰
