I'd say the achievement rewards either indecision or cockiness. Neither of which are good. Shooting yourself with a life is either just silly or uncalculated and is less of a hassle to set up.

well the game is about silly cockiness and gambling anyways

its not like you're gonna do it in a double or nothing game

I'd rather suggest: using a magnifying glass, then knowing it's a blank, saw off the shotgun and shoot the opponent
that'd be hilarious to get an achievement for doing that, although it looks quite similar to the one ||where you shoot yourself with a live after using the magnifying glass.||
