I think handcuffs would be nice as they are iconic from the main game and it would be easier to tell at a glance who’s turn is going to be blocked even after the item is used (since you could visually see them cuffed the whole time)

my guess why cuffs got turned into jam because with dealer it works that they break after shotgun is empty, while jammer shouldn't go away, but you still need to grab items
