It would be so cool to implement a small system to quickly match you up with other players without having to fiddle with lobby codes in the discord server

I agree. Discord is banned in my country and that's why entering discord is tiring and troublesome. I don't have any friends either. This situation really puts me in a difficult situation and I know other people in my country who are experiencing similar situations.

Maybe chat with Reissad Studios, they are a very smol studio who developed Bodycam and originally it didn't have automated matchmaking too but they quickly added it. Maybe get some ideas how they did it?

imo this is all BUCKSHOT multiplayer needs to be bassicaly perfect. and if they really wanna add in the immersion. just let players communicate in like thumbs up or thumbs down or smthin
