Give itch.io buyers multiplayer

We bought the game when it first came out and now we dont even get multiplayer access?

It is said in the itch.io page this exact note: "Note: The itch.io version does not feature an online leaderboard or multiplayer compared to the Steam release.". Even tho, I too believe that, in compensation, they can give keys to the people who supported the project at the beginning, so they can acces the multiplayer feature.

yeah i mean i bought the game cause i tough it was a good game and it deserved support, and now, i cant play the whole game even if i bought it ? that's not fair tbh

I don't think that works, specially, when the itch.io version is far from the current version. The itch.io one is on the 1.2.2 I think. So that couldn't be possible.
