item:glass window. you use it on your turn and after your shot a piece of glass is hang in front of you. if you take a live shot before your next turn the glass takes it for you. at the start of your next turn, the glass window (if it is still there)drops onto the table and shatters.

mechanic: sometimes the first player to take damage immediately gets overwhelmed from other players trying to get rid of 1 competitor quickly and it's not a good experience. Maybe if for example in clockwise order players A B C D, A fires at D and lands, for the duration of B's turn, D is immune. C can still fire at D. If C lands a shot and now it's D's turn, D is not immune because its D's own turn. So if some player P takes damage from other players, P is then immune for the next turn unless it's P's turn.

I would also suggest nerfing or banning adrenaline. With a full table of items the player with adrenaline can pretty much take whatever tool they want
