I noticed that after the first player gets shot, others are incentivized to double-team them to knock them out sooner. After all, why just wound someone at full health when you can totally eliminate the player who's already down to 1-2 HP and remove them from the equation?
A counter to this could be an item that prevents other players from shooting you, either for one turn or until it's your turn again. (obviously would need testing for balance)
If any of you have played the card game Love Letter, this item would essentially work like the "handmaid" card from that game, preventing other players from targeting you. idk that's just the first thing that came to my mind after playing the multiplayer alot with friends.
