TLDR: Customizable turn timer that damages whom ever current turn it is if they fail to complete their turn in time.
You sit down at the table but this time It's different each player is hooked on a mysterious substance in a bag linked to each player in a IV. Running out of said substance causes the player to faint requiring a defib charge. At the start of a players turn the substance is no longer kept full and slowly drains until they finish their turn at which point the bag is filled, this bag is visible to all players. The drain rate (player turn timer) should be customizable by the host and entirely optional. If the player fails to complete there turn in time in addition to losing a charge their turn is skipped. Reasons to add this feature is to encourage a high stake fast-paced game.
