There seems to be a desync of items and lives. I was playing 1v1 with a friend in a vc and we were noticing that some items were were not lining up correctly. For example, if they had an inverter, it would sometimes show it as a beer for me. And if I used an adrenaline to grab what was shown to me as a beer but as an inverter for them, the item would use the effect it showed me. Also, if lives were desynced, there is a possibility of softlocking. If you are at one life, another person may see it as multiple. And if they shoot you while this desync is happening, if can softlock you into a game over screen while the other person is just waiting for your turn.
