This is my take on the Dealer from Buckshot Roulette! I adore this guy <3 I wanted to create a model that was as true to the 2D art style as possible.

His model isn't finished just yet, I'm still working on blendshapes and other fun things to get him ready for animation! Small changes and fixes to the model are also being made (I've given him two rhinoplasties already and may get a third OTL).

I'd like to release the model / project file once it's finished!

@severe quiver I haven't yet, but once I return home and find some goofiness happening, I'll post!
Currently only his hands are rigged and two of his phases (Phase 3 and 2) have some blendshapes / shape keys, figuring out how to work all those teefs and toofs is gonna be a challenge

Oh! I know what it is, I just didn't know what you were trying to say lol
The textures for this model is actually baked lighting and normals from the high-res models of each of his heads. The messy black lines you see around his face (not the black outlines, that's the solidify layer, these markings are more apparent on his nose and cheeks) are a result from some funky colliding verts around the edges. This is done on purpose to get closer to that messy line art style in the official art.
I'm pretty happy with the results as-is, but I might go in and manually make some touches once all his animation stuff is done

i ran into a little bug in blender while doing a test animation and wanted to throw it out there incase anybody else runs into this issue if working with models using the solidify modifier...
**If you're enabling / disabling the model visibility in animation and it has a solidify modifier that is not applied to it, the solidify layer can disappear. a very simple solution is to go into the solidify modifier and click on it twice to disable and re-enable its display in the viewport.

im still in the long tedious process of attaching his teeth to all his different head phases, got a bit burned out with this model for the past week. he now has a very simple head / facial rig, but most of the control will be in deformations / blendshapes / shape keys

i wanted to post and say that this project is still in the works, it's on pause for now since i'm focused on another project and work right now. i'm hoping to return to finishing our beloved dealer as soon as possible, then make him available as a free download!

@astral rapids I haven't thought about it (since I've never played), but I'll give a shot at uploading it for VRChat as well!

I plan on releasing exported versions of the model, including a Blender project file, so if there are other games and things you wanna use it for, go right ahead!
