Since Hobby Hangout was started last year, it has pulled fan content from a variety of sources, traditionally Reddit, Instagram, and this Discord. However, with the increased interest in posting to the Discord, and wanting to provide a boost to those that actively choose to use this Discord to show off their projects, CGL will be making some slight changes to the Hobby Hangout format moving forward.

CGL will only be taking submissions from the Catalyst Game Labs Discord server, starting May 9th, 2024.
They will be featuring between 4 and 10 individual images each week.
Posts will be featured on the Catalyst Game Labs Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as the BattleTech Facebook account.
CGL asks that if you would like to drive traffic to your social media account, include a link to a detailed "sister" post on your preferred platform.

We have a quick addendum to the guidelines.

Please try to make sure that if you are making a submission, please have your image sized appropriately for social media and it is under 900 kilobytes in size.

Another quick addendum, as we have been seeing it a lot.

We are perfectly fine with sharing your Instagram posts, but you need to upload your image directly to the Discord server.
