2 Player remains unfunctional

Either this is user error or the setting does not work as I am trying to beat codependence with a friend via globed and after we link the 2 player portion does not work and even with good internet he is not synced with me whatsoever. Any help?

Also if i can get confirmation on practice mode not being compatible with it that'd be nice. Ive tried playing without ever restarting the level or going in practice and the same problem persists when we get to the dual portion.

practice mode generally doesn't work

luck with 2p mode generally depends on the level

there are levels where it just won't work

how bad it is depends on your ping to the server, but generally one person will always be desynced due to network delay, this isn't possible to fix
