The “levels” tap just doesn’t load anything as soon as i go into a priv server to play with my friend.

the level list shows how many people are in levels, if there is nobody in a level then there will be no levels shown
since you are in a room and its just you there is nobody playing a level so no levels will show up

you just enter a level like in normal GD
and then when people join your room they can join you

get out of the globed menu
and enter a level like in normal geometry dash
like you didnt have globed installed
