#Packet limit

Is there any way to fix it?
the packet limit is based on your connection latency
usually whatever the settings on your packet limit set by globed is fine
I have it set to 0 in the Packet limit setting
you can set the packet limit manually
vpn will lead to more latency, meaning more lag and less smooth experience with other players
its probs best to connect to a server that is closest to you to reduce the latency
Okay
You only need to use a vpn if your isp doesnt let you connect to globed in some way
I'm from Russia, I always need a VPN for Discord.
thats fair
you could try the relay server option on globed
that allows u to connect to a russian relay that lets you connect to any server without getting block or doesnt let you conect
I'm using
Ping 100 Maybe another 110 tops.
then thats likely the best you can get tbh
It's probably normal for Russia
There's nothing to be done in this situation, so let it stay that way.
yea, just probs keep the packet limit settings
It may not work, because if I click on Connection test then everything resets to 0. I've tried it.
then manually set it to 1400
hm
then honestly idk probs have to ask about this later
I can set the value to 1400 and then log out of the server and log back in and it will stay that way.
that usually shouldnt be happening tho
Only if I make a value of 1400 and then do a Connection test and then go to my server again, I will have a different value
If I set the value to 1400 and do not do Connection Test, the value will remain the same
Here it is clear that Connection Test makes the value different
it is normal
this value depends on your router and your internet provider
for most people ~65000 works fine, but for many its around 1400
nothing wrong with that, just means your network blocks fragmented packets
if globed works fine with 65000 (or 0, which means unlimited) then you don't need to change it
this is intentional
connection test finds the best (most optimal) value and sets it
Okay
Okay
Well, that makes sense.
