how will the follow trigger work in the upcoming co op update? i mean can you use it to make something follow the closest player in the level, or can you also make something follow the furthest player for example? Also, i wanna know if this co op thing will cause any more lagging in globed levels because there's a deeper connection between players then.

have not done anything specific to the follow trigger
and no it shouldn't cause extra lags
but i will also optimize it before it gets officially released it
then u prob should make like a setting that allows players to make follow trigger focus on the closest player in the level, as its gonna be a very useful feature for many creators to make co op bossfights especially. and ig this shouldnt be that hard to make once atleast the move trigger also updates for everyone so if u can just make follow trigger know where others are

currently it's anything that deals with item ids
pickup, count, item edit, etc.
which alone lets you do a lot
everything that's in matmarts video is done just by sharing item ids
move got target group and follow got that too, so shouldnt other target id triggers be able to work too just as well then right
well yk doesnt move deal with item ids too

and spawns a move trigger
somehow to make it follow closest player, unless that still needs extra work

a object following the closest
then we will know if its already gonna be possible anyways
so anyway this trick is all done in the same level editor and then its automatically gonna make it sync between all players in the level when the update is out, right
