So ever since 2.207 update, I'll just randomly disconnect and reconnect to the server after ~5 minutes of playing, and it seems like dying in the level was the trigger for causing disconnection, but I have no idea why it's happening, I tried to reinstall geode and globed, and even only downloaded globed to see if it could be other mods conflicted with globed, but it still did the same thing, no idea how to fix that as I would like to play a deathlink 2p level with my friend but I just kept disconnecting and ended up having to rejoin the room every 5 minutes or so.

thats really strange, are you sure that dying is what causes it?

if you don't die at all do you never get disconnected?

it's like if i play a level normally, sometimes i just disconnect from the server, and it seemed to almost always happen after i die after a certain amount of time

i'll try to play a platformer and stay afk in there and see if i'll disconnect

seems fine if i just afk

but i started playing after afking for like 6 minutes so maybe playing and dying caused something to happen?

and then it auto reconnects after like 10 seconds but i would have already got kicked from the private room

so i had to rejoin everytime it happens

is there a way to fix this, or maybe there can be an auto rejoin feature that gets you back into the private room after disconnecting and reconnecting?

ive thought of the latter and likely will implement eventually

i have a feeling it's cuz of the high ms in both server + i'm in Taiwan and it is definitely really far away from the host

this shouldn't really matter if you have stable internet

i know people playing from nz with 300+ ping and it works well for them

okay, so i tried with my phone, and it actually worked, so i think my router was the problem, thanks for the help! 🙏
