i dont think its for a punishment + u can disable death effects (sadly not in-level if u dont have any mod menu with "No death effect" option)

I’ll kick them for now to stop the annoyance but afterwards if you’re wanting to play hard platformer levels we do suggest you have the option off like terma suggested
