So, before the update my last run was with the red fox, with the talents +5 ice dmg and +10 MP regen

even though the talents and character selection were reworked, i kept said things upon loading the game

I guess it couldn't detect the old save points so it didn't initialize. After the patch, if you play the game and then turn it off and on, do you still have the talent?

I think it was actually caused by not deleting the talent feature itself before the patch, just locking it down. I'll fix it to reset it if the user has talents in their save data.
