IGDB uses an internal priority system, which determines the order in which contributions are reviewed.
The priority score on IGDB is decided by several factors such as:
Who contributed to the change group (Admins/Keepers/Verified Developers and Publishers)
Association with an Event page within a 30 day window
Association with a release date within a 30 day window
Votes on your change group
Cover/title contributions on existing games in the database
If you want to get your submission reviewed faster, we recommend having your community vote on the submission.
Contributions are reviewed in order of priority score and then age.
We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but we are continuously looking for ways to improve the experience for all contributors to IGDB. Every contribution will be looked at however in due time, so please be patient and in the mean time, feel free to encourage your community to vote for your change as well.
Also seeing as you represent a game developer or publisher, you can get your account verified on IGDB. This will drastically improve prioritization towards your changes of your games. You also get a beautiful blue badge! You can apply for verification on IGDB by sending an email to verification@igdb.com with the following:
- Your website. The domain should match the email account that you are sending from.
- Link to your IGDB account. Your IGDB account should be in good standing. (note it has to be your IGDB account, not just your Twitch account).
- Link to one of your game page on IGDB.
- Link to your company page on IGDB.

May I ask is the IGDB web working rightnow? I found I cannot sigh in the IGDB on PC website, and I am still waiting for the review, it's almost 10 hours, longer than before, IDK if the website of IGDB is under maintance so noone can review my update
