I came across this game where they removed the parentheses from the name. However, the game deals with a conflict between marked characters and unmarked characters and the title ends up playing between the two and the removal of the parents (even with the capital M) ends up leaning only to one side.
Is "UnMarked" really the best way to deal with the title?

👋 Can you clarify your question? If you are asking if UnMarked is a proper way of naming "(Un)Marked" on IGDB...it seems that way. We have the title in the "stylized title" field.

The thing is, (Un)Marked is a play on words between two tribes in the game and the name is that way to represent both (the Markeds and the Unmarkeds). In my opinion, removing the parentheses changes the meaning of the title.

@vale jungle that’s a product decision for our PM @thorn vortex but I imagine it’s just something we haven’t prioritized
There hasn’t been any request to have it primarily featured as far as I know

i think it might help with this because i know a lot of people have been confused/upset about titles showing up wrong even though i get the reasons why the stylized title is separate from the main title
