Frontier Gate <> SaGa Frontier series

Hey @daring wasp ! So just to clarify from #bug-report message

From what i briefly looked at Frontier Gate Boost+ is an expanded release of the base Frontier Gate game from 2011, right? In that case, neither Frontier Gate, nor Frontier Gate Boost+ are part of the SaGa series. I think that's what you meant?

Are they a spin-off series from SaGa Frontier then?

as far as I know they are completely unrelated, neither part of the SaGa Frontier series (as it is labeled on igdb) or the SaGa franchise (as labeled on igdb).
Frontier Gate is by tri-ace, published by Konami
SaGa is a Square franchise (of which SaGa Frontier 1 & 2 are a sub series), made in-house.
