The normal tuning is not as strike orientated, but Embrittlement easily carries the damage disparity.

Some opponents without defensive tuning are getting hit for ~200 too.

And if you wish to inflate the numbers in less realistic scenarios, this is the best I achieved.

I'm a big fan of GP/Strike. The build with it here is more attack based but you can do the same thing on the blue cyber fit just focused in reload. Also I don't have overhaul so some of these you could slot him in over Iibara.

Personally, if I'm in Beta, I'll do the two quick betas, circle for a 3rd then cancel it into a gamma or back into a melee combo.

If you cancel it quick enough and the timing is right with their Iframes, yes. The issue I've had with trying to combo out of a beta is when the beta hits, they get knock back. Granted my timing could just be off but usually if I cancel a beta I need to wait like 2 or 3 seconds before I can gamma them or I'm wasting ammo.

Its his wing general heat with revenge strike and gp but to get the most insane numbers you need a strike Shigaraki and a shinso with embrittlement.

Shinso Alpha or SA them to hold still. Shigaraki uses his SA on them. Hawks deletes them.

Its team based. Alone it does solid damage with peaking 200 beta give or take with cards and revenge strike on. But having two teammates to debuff a target? Crazy damage.

I need to test it but Shigarakis SA might stack with embrittlement??? because a beta hit for 350 but never got it to happen again. No idea what caused that.

Need to test how static the conditions are but the mad potential is there.

I was testing the normal output of the build. Then added teammates then tested the tuning then everything together plus a strike card.

After work I'm going to test more and record some stuff to just check everything.

All you really need is a strike teammate with embrittlement. Shigaraki has 2 for free

Probably could run a discount build on basical parallel Hawks. Slot embrittlement and gp sucker or something. Melee 2 into beta. You're just missing 1 red slot in the tuning. Wing has 5 so you can have 3 Beta tunings and 2 HP damage tunings. Parallel has 4 reds. So your going 2 HP and 2 Beta or 1 HP and 3Beta attack slots.

Ok, so, I despise Nejire as a character. She suffers from a lot of similar issues to the writing of mha women, except somehow worse in some categories. She's supposed to be "bubbly" and "curious" but we have Ochaco and Midoriya respectively to fill those roles. She's also written to be ungodly dumb just for the sake of it, and I just hate characters that can be easily boiled down to "Stupid but attractive." I think her costume and quirk are boring, I hate her vocies (so don't tell me to switch to dub/sub) It's so annoying hearing her grating voice start every sentence with "Hey Hey" and end it with "K" or "Okay!" There's also the matter of, she was introduced in season 4 of the anime. We didn't get a backstory until season 7, and her big reveal was that she got called weird ONCE in middle school, and decided to have a full mental shut down and become quiet. Really, bullied in middle school? So were a lot of us, you are not special. This is just a condensed, and nicer, version of a much longer hate rant ab this character

Gameplay-wise, I think she's fine. I have nothing against her gameplay or her players. The players are, mostly, pretty cool. She's also just super easy to counter, wouldn't have around 400 Nejire's under my boot if she wasn't

It depends on how you play

If you are close range and run sisterly or any form of defense tuning
Melee x2 into beta or Melee x 3 into Gamma on hp is good.
You can gamma alpha then go into a combo.

If you stay at range, gamma is a good tool to focus a target with a team. My group usually will target whoever is marked. Remember when you aim alpha it shoots faster and is more focused. If you don't aim alpha it auto tracks but shoots slower and is less controlled.

You can cancel your beta early if you find it hard to move. Like accidentally ending up in a building.

Hawks has almost infinite SA before a match starts. Example, you land away from the team and it's a bad spot. fly away with SA at no cost until it says GO

If you melee x3 into beta they hit iframes most of the time.

You can beta into melee but you'd need to have your iframe timing down to a T and it's depending on the target. Some people recover some wait out wake up.

This is more my aggressive play style and if you're not running a defensive build is very risky. Hawks is very uh squishy with some of the combos that exist out there.

Some of this is sloppy work lol I was asked put this video together to test a build for someone and it just works for explaining things now.

Personally the way I view Hawks is different from other characters. Like some you can just button mash. Hawks takes a little more strategy now like leaning into his melee combos or know if and when to cancel his beta.

My favorite part of Hawks was learning to master his beta within a small building

It's a huge trade-off. You gain a lot of coverage due to the massive hitbox of beta's spin, but you lose versatility and become much more predictable

Something I've noticed with his beta is that the hit box is wider than his attacks. Like if you are going towards someone, 80% of the time if they are infront of you, you'll hit them before the beta animation triggers. But if they are to the left or right it might miss.

His beta is very forgiving when it comes to tapping it early in free flight vs waiting to be really close

If you want high damage you could try the wind general heat. It's GP revenge strike with 5 red subslots.
But i agree. Embrittlement GP would go pretty hard. The locked Hero/Villain slots are a pain and Hawks has a lot of Villain slots on his gear.
