This feels standard. Feel free to experiment with more GP vs HP attack power as well as just more GP or HP as a starting point to help for your playstyle.

I don't think the normal tunings have enough weight to make it significantly more insane. Imo, at the end of the day, special tunings can help you deepen your playstyle on this character and/or pad out your weaknesses, but I don't think it makes you have insane impact. You'll still struggle to have insane timing and presence until you're a better Mirio, yk?

I'd still recommend the build above. If you want to try more aggressive sustain, try the Combat variant with High Speed Replenishment and HP Sucker. I feel like it's faster vs. the top half of the lobby at the end if you can read em well and avoid cA into storm

It gives up the intel of Perception and the reset capabilities of Willpower tho. The cons for me is I feel like Heat does more for my team. Mirio's one of the best characters to use team potions on top of weaving in melees, so the top half of the lobby plays less selfishly with Heat/Base vs. Combat.

Even if you don't focus on supporting, your mobility between Alpha and Special to get civilians throughout the game mean I'm almost always carrying a rezz card and can use a team potion over a normal large when I reset or rotate. HSR gives me way better sustain when changing angles though... Ts fierce lmao

From his Casual fit:
Willpower + High Speed Replenishment

Embrittlement + Revenge Strike

SA reload boost/HP Sucker/ High Speed Replenishment + Perception

Revenge Support + GP Sucker

For his Festival fit:

Crushing PU charge + Muscle Form

Perception + Willpower

Sisterly Disposition + Perception

These are some good ones I can think of! For anything else don't hesitate to ask

For the Assault Tuning slot 1, and in general for Assault tunings, I suggest HP defense which is the one Assault All Might's normal tuning provides

For Special Tuning 2 I'd suggest Hawks' because if you ever have played on a tripple Rapid team with Mirio, you must know the faster Mirio goes the better! It's harder for opponents to catch him and you can be a lot quicker at escaping/attacking

Tuning slot 3 is where I'd suggest putting Strike Bakugo's tuning for extra alpha damage

Tuning slot 4 you could put anything, defense multipliers don't amount to much. But if you have Assault Ochako's I'd recommend hers

Tuning slot 5 I'd suggest either Technical Denki's or Aizawa's for your alpha reload

Tuning slot 6 again random!

Tuning slot 7 I'd suggest either Strike Deku's, or Present Mic's/Endeavor's

Tuning slot 8 whichever you want which buffs your HP!

Tuning slot 9 you can only pick one..! Hahaha

Tuning slot 10 I'd suggest Rapid Toga's

And Special slot you just put Perception and Willpower like we said!

Btw small note, on the Assault tunings do not use Shigaraki's until the 9th slot because there Shigaraki's is the only one you can use!

Alright so I've been meaning to ask, because Kamko said you're extraordinary good at tournaments, and I can't think of a more competitive ground than that, how should a Mirio act in high-skilled lobbies in general? What should he focus on and avoid doing?

Currently no matter the skill level I just went ahead and did what I always do, leveling myself up and then going for fights, but there must be some better play right?

Basically, just try to take out the heaviest enemy on the opposing team so your teammates can comfortably fight a 2v2 without an annoying character (example: red Kiri, Ibaras full bullet). And of course, with the new buff to Mirio, if your team is alive you’re practically immortal — never waste the special on a normal action, always be in teleport, and keep one opponent permanently stunned with combos. When your team needs help, definitely go assist with your teleport to remove their opponents. (I play Mirio in support mode, not aggressively.) (Always be the one to carry revives and as many team heals as possible.)

You may be doing this already but a Tip that might help as support Mirio is carrying specific colour level up cards for teammates as well as communicating with them & ferrying any cards they have to your other teammate if they’re too far from eachother, that way when you teleport you also come baring gifts.

Hahaha, wouldn't agree so much. Not everyone finds Mirio suiting or so fitting, because he requires loads of skill and effort to be able to get damage and KOs in, how do you get good in all these? Experience! You just keep playing, losing, winning, gaining experience! The result of more than half your encounters, will depend on how much you strengthen your skills. By fighting the same characters over and over, learning them, and getting better yourself at landing your blows/combos. That's Mirio's requirements, don't make (not mistakes) a single mistake, predict their next movement, move constantly and rapidly

Yes and no hahaha. Here's my personal opinion on Technical Mirio, anyone who feels like correcting me or adding up feel free!

Technical Mirio

They say this skill set will be broken, op, so on so forth.. I think we've all heard the same titles and comments from everyone hahaha. But, honestly? I don't think that's the case, at all. And the moment the season ends and the Anniversary characters/skill sets pull up, he'll be forgotten relatively quickly and here's why:

-Alpha
His alpha is shown to be an extremely good sort of mobility. You'll be able to move around, being invincible while being able to hit the others, and you can also phase through buildings easier/faster while keeping a momentum unlike Rapid Mirio! Buuuut, this mobility will not be so good when trying to escape for example, without teammates you'll be left basically alone, sure you'll be able to run around a little bit, but people can keep track of you, way easier than Rapid Mirio. Also offensively it'll be hard to use due to the fact you'll have to land all these shots while constantly moving around, messing up the permeation is also a possibility while spamming your alpha, which may result in you getting exposed..! And your bullets aren't infinite, by spamming it you'll run out, and there won't be much you can do offensively. You'll have to tap in and out way more than with Rapid Mirio, and if your aim is bad, you won't be getting any value in either!

-Beta
From what I've been told and seen, the beta will be really tough to implement on any fight, due to the fact most of the meta characters can avoid it by gaining altitude, or by moving quickly to the sides, because the beta will he hard to control/turn. So you'll need to be close to your opponent to immediately connect it! Or else messing it up/missing it, or getting dodged will happen relatively often. The magazine isn't remotely as big as Rapid Mirio's either, so don't expect to just run around and trying to get them will work!

-Gamma
Probably the most op and useful move Mirio will have hahaha. It'll be nice to punish snipers, to approach people without using any other move, and also punishing spammers. It's range is amazing, it deals incredible damage, and if you land it once, the CD is refreshed and you can do it again! Mixed up with SA, it'll be hard for anyone to hit you!

-Overall opinion
This Mirio won't manage to probably surpass the Rapid one, Rapid Mirio has established his place in the meta by either being a good support at high-skilled lobbies, drinking group heals, teleporting to kick people off his teammates, taking on the most tough characters of the opponent team, and some times clutching a match on his own! Technical Mirio has some wits, but even with good mastery over him he seems to be even worse at everything Rapid Mirio can do, third partying, supporting etc. I don't think he'll find his place in the meta, ofc I don't mean to discourage you from summoning on him! He'll still be a nice change of pace, and a fun character. But in the long-term, or in high skilled lobbies, he won't be surviving, and it's unfortunate that probably the skill set will be worse than the original. Although that's always just my opinion, maybe I'll be proven wrong! Who knows hahaha, I hope I am, but from what I've seen and from my own experience, this is where Technical Mirio stands. I can't see me bobbing up and down when looking up then going into Beta, but I was doing the bobbing motion when looking at someone's stream.

I noticed the bobbing motion/being above ground goes away when I hold down a movement key, but your model can stay above ground if you just tap the movement key to start moving.

When you are playing against a player that knows how Mirio works sometimes they can predict that you go on that pillar but if you use that move you can go a little further away or inside the building next to the pillar so they wont be able to hit you

• Aggression/Chase
  From the video I saw you weren't so willing to chase down people, even after you had let them low! With Mirio (and especially the build you have which is Perception and Willpower) you're officially one of the best chasers around, try and pressure more your opponents before giving up on them! You could easily have 5 extra KOs had you done that hahaha

• SA use
  You made amazing use of the SA teleport, repositioning yourself and escaping when needed! You were not using it though as a simple action at all, yes we usually recommend to use the teleport more often because it's better, but the simple action as well is very very useful! When you're trying to confuse/trick your enemy to catch them in their animation, to avoid getting hit by something you can't roll, or just getting your opponent within your melee's/alpha range, which brings me to my next theme (also small tip, when teleporting always stop before the SA fully teleports you to your teammate to avoid getting perhaps hit from something that'll hit your teammate, and to allow for better repositioning!)

• Alpha combo/melee
  These 2 are some of your greatest weapons! You used the charged alpha with incredible mastery, but when you're close to your enemy, don't go for a simple gamma (even if it lands) or a charged alpha! Try and do the normal combo which opens them up to alpha-alpha-melee-gamma, or just the simple melee-melee-melee-gamma combo. That way you mark them with perception as well! And you get tons of damage out of it, and you're making sure they won't escape your sights (maybe you didn't do these because of lag, but it's just general tips!)

• Teamwork
  I don't know if you noticed, but at some point with your Aizawa you 2 landed a sweet sweet combo of his binding alpha into your own charged one! These type of combos are Mirio's specialty. He can either attack someone with beta or charged alpha when your teammate is binding them

Mirio sa is probably the 3 best in the whole game

(Aizawa, Shinso, Ibara etc) or be the one binding them with your normal alpha combo so your teammates take your role instead! I'm not saying to be their babysitter and be always with them, but try to always be within range, especially in high skilled lobbies you're your team's ace up their sleeve hahaha. You take on the toughest character the enemy team has to offer, taking care of the back-line permeating through the front lines, kicking enemies off your teammates so they can heal and so much more! You were doing great with group healing and teleporting to them occasionally, but try and stand by them a little more! Especially when you've got good combinations like the ones I mentioned

Overall you seem to be a great Mirio, and I can't wait how much more you'll grow! If you need anything more, don't hesitate to ask!

Learn to be the last one alive. A lot of people get this backwards in Battle Royales, thinking they need to be the first to kill or do the most damage, but damage and KO's are strong but limited proxies for your performance and ability to sustainably climb a leaderboard. To be Rapid Mirio-specific, your ability to shake enemies is almost unparalleled: that means you having a grip of team GP and team HP pots as well as at least one full rezz card means your team can always come back.

Learn to charge Alpha without being traded: it'll be one of your safest options to do damage as you learn to play Rapid Mirio.

If you can't stay alive as much as you think you should:

• Stop using Beta for offense for now
• Stop dying trying to pick up your teammates unless it's a favorable duel or safe pick up. It's almost always better to try to support your other teammate in fighting people off your downed teammate or taking the 1v1/duel to buy time if not sauce em up
• Learn that it's really easy for people to lose sight of you, so charge Alpha, Beta, or Special to break LoS, STOP MOVING to give away your position by sound alone, then get your GP or HP up

Mirio is hard to pick up b/c he's unforgiving, unfortunately. If you find yourself lacking some joy in learning to play him but think you'd like him if you can get better, choose better goals. Examples:

• DO NOT: tunnel vision on KOs and damage next match. Instead, prioritize on your ability to leave your ranked matches with a positive gain in points. A more specific goal on HOW you get positive gains in points is better than just "higher KO's/damage" like resetting your GP after you've been GB so you can stay alive longer to fight or learning to M1 > M1 > M1 > Gamma consistently to improve KO/damage.
• DO NOT: ruminate on getting down or being KO'd. It's very easy to do that with Mirio as the lowest HP in the game rn: focus on being effective and resetting mentally for your next play/match. To be more specific, if you find your mental leaning negative/unhelpful after being knocked, a big play for you is to mentally reset.
• DO: try to spend 70% of your time within ADS Special range next match
• DO: try to always have a full rezz card next match
• DO: try to learn to only play on the fringes of the fight focusing on a single target and/or if you're getting stronger than fight safely in their backlines. Let your teammates dictate the bulk of where the fight happens since you're so mobile unless you're calling for them to reset or rotate.

At the end of the day: unless you're in an easy lobby you'll cimb out of quickly, being a better macro player/making better bigger-picture decisions will decide how well you do as Mirio.

Yup, ping makes the combo floaty and delayed, it doesn't connect rapidly to keep the opponent stunned, and Mirio floats way too far to continue the combo. If it's though in a corner like that, ping or not it'll land!

The alpha really going to be a problem. Not in terms of damage, the damage is fine, but because it's crazy momentum and invincibility
