It's like you get pieces of a character (like Yellow Deku) after matches. You're more likely to get pieces of characters you already have. You can use 50 pieces to equip a slot in your character's tuning (equipping Yellow Deku gives you Quirk Skill Y Defence + for defence against other peoples Gamma attacks).

Regular/normal outfits have a max level of 3-4 while PURs or rare outfits have level 10-11 to make tunings better.

You use different kinds of Slot Keys to unlock more slots, level them up, etc. Once you fill in 5 slots on each side, you can unlock and fill the Special Slots, the 2 very top slots that need 100 pieces. (Yellow Deku's shortens the time it takes to save civilians)

(sorry if it's long winded... I basically started MHUR when tunings came out so it was mind boggling for an old timer like me)

Oh i should probably mention you can most definitely invest in Speedy Civilian Rescue and as Rydia said above you get these
pieces quite frequently just by playing the game. Though it kind of does make the game pay to win if you dont have PUR costumes.

There are a few slots or subslots that are bugged (meaning they dont work) or the wording is just horrible so you aren't sure what they do

Using slot keys (on PUR costumes) gives you free aura without having to pull for them again

tbf I still dunno what the "willpower bug" actually is. I know it sometimes doesn't give proper invincibility during the knockdown but I wonder if that's just when a roll catch bug happens which isn't unique to it.

additionally it doesn't activate if you reach 1hp naturally as it will only happen if you go from 2hp or higher to 0hp in one go, so if you get low while burned or in decay and reach 1hp, the next hit will kill and willpower won't activate. likewise moves with low damage multi hits like assault overhaul alpha, rapid hawks alpha etc have a higher than average chance to put you at exactly 1hp before downing you without triggering willpower.

it would be sick if willpower also activated if you are already at 1hp but that's not how it works currently. beyond that I'm not sure if there are more bugs with it currently

I just checked a very old clip and I'm not sure if dying while at 1hp naturally will put willpower on cooldown. if it does that's definitely dumb

but yeah I would love for it to get an update, just wondering if there's reasons for failure that I'm not familiar with currently
