Well id say its different bc console cant let u aim like pc, and we all know aiming is crucial on ibara
Still u can play in various form, it all comes to reading the situation tho, analize where u are (is it a open area or the inside of a building or little corridors in between many buildings? Etc etc)
Then analize who r u fighting, people on an average play the same way, so u can kind of predict what they will do based on the char, so adjust how u gonna fight based on who u fighting
And also remember that ibara is a tank, those 400hp arent for nothing, and ppl love to come up close to her, u can bait em and stuff like that, one thing i do when im being followed is run behind a wall for a grab

All i said mostly comes from gamesense, knowing where u standing at, and outsmarting who u fighting

As a general thumb rule on ANYTHING including other games, the high ground benefits u, its easier to aim someone on the ground than high up, so if u have the chance to go into a roof or tall building, go for it and snipe

So yup i think thats it, adapt, adjust, read the situation and know where u at and predict how u can counter who u fighting

On another note, always remember how much hp other chars has, aside from assault kendo afo ibara and kirishima, no one has 400hp i think
That means that if u guard break someone, u will down them in two alpha shots, saying it hits for 180

And what most airbone chars will do is flee when they start taking dmg on hp so try to predict their trayectory based on where they wake up

This is a general reviver thing to keep in mind but 99% of the time do not throw your life away to revive a teammate. If your teammate is downed and you’re either getting chased or would have to go out in the open near a bunch of people to revive them chances are you’re going to get schmacked and die and your teammate will also die

Most of Ibara's gameplay, from what I've seen and had my beloved mentor Gothbara tell me, is constantly changing positioning. My preferred positioning is mid-short range, a distance where I can hit alphas reasonably well but also am able to punish hasty approaches or retreats. I've started to get the hang of closer-range fighting, but I have to get used to incorporating my melee in still

I most like to fight in areas where I can quickly switch between indoors and outdoors depending on what the situation calls for, or just spacious indoors spaces, ones that are just hard enough for characters with superior mobility to escape unscathed

Mostly, I just need to work on my matchups (especially against a lot of high-mobility characters) and general game sense, because I feel like I go on the defensive too quickly in most fights

Now was it my fault that I was not with the team as a no mobility character? Yes, but, this is why I tell people to play low/no mobility characters so they aren't screwed in situations like that because they know what to do after spending some time on them

and yes playing low mobility characters help with pressure outside of just use ur rapid skills to run away

any combo between wallrunner, space hop, and reinforced revive is always good on PUR costumes, but there's a few more options people have tried, those are just the most common ones (and the ones I personally would consider), also apparently she has an outfit for crit perm high speed replenish but that's kinda cringe (and probably not even much better than the other mentioned options, except it might get nerfed sooner or later, probably later)

These are options you can take for builds and costumes however Id recommend staying AWAY from the support build unless you know what you are doing.

For starters the most popular one I'd say is Space Hop and Reinforced Revive

But assuming you do not have yellow ochaco or the like- you use Revenge Assault, Civilian Rescue, and honestly maybe Plus Ultra Boost

If you have the best PUR costume Ibara has (Casual Wear). You can do Reinforced Revive and Wallrunner.

Wallrunner and Space Hop (or other pref minus Indestructible since thats a curse and a blessing)
