Kendo in c is so sad to me. I use to main her and she is incredible if you use her movement well. She even counters alot of rapids although she can't chase them super easily. But hey that's what you have friends to throw for lol

There is no way for the people getting hit to know it’s you

So you shouldn’t receive more reports than usual

You can also get shadowbanned if you’re too good at the game and win a lot, people will rage report you

I like the gamma because if I happen to not get any blood for one reason or another it comes back a few seconds faster. That's the main reason for me. Being stuck with cooldowns on her is rough lol. I feel that I'm combining my moves with whoever I'm taking anyways so I'm doing 75% of their combo kind of thing anyways. I just want to make sure I can transform as much as possible. The damage isn't what I'm worried about as long as I can move around more reliably. That's my thought process anyways. I did the same for purple toga. Gamma to 9 before anything for her tho 😅

it's only half a second faster reload from gamma 4-9
and techga gamma it's the same from 7-9
so I wouldn't really go for 5/2 more levels on each of them
(rapid 4-9
tech 7-9)
leaving them at the earlier number while you focus better offensive tools is a lot better.
if you struggle with cooldowns on rapidga go beta more. since bigger aoe makes combos easier. combos guarantee gamma which = cd reset
that's my view on it

See i feel like id do alpha over beta since against good players the beta is easy enough for them to dodge regardless and the bad players are just getting hit even with level 1 😂 but when I looked into her kit you get an extra second per charge at level 9 so that's 3 seconds off. I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers but I just use the database. Is it incorrect?

impractical because with rapidga you're moving through the air a lot with cd resets. it's not often you'll be in gamma range. a lot of the time you just beam with alpha and it's enough value because of how broken redku is

There's not a tuning meta with her

Just avoid garbage ones like Momo's

Wall run is REALLY good but otherwise she's flexible with tunes so it's up to what playstyle you want to supplement

Why would you wanna use wall run for rapid? I mean I guess if you run out of all your moves then it can be helpful, but she has one of the best movements in the game?

Because the wall run saves your gamma charges so you can use it a lot more offensively

Plus her cooldowns are bad if you don't reset so saving the mobility for when you really need it if helpful

And chasing is better cuz you're not burning movement just to catch up

PSA: If you transform into Tech Denki, make sure you are not aiming in when you turn back into Toga (either manually or because you ran out of blood.)

As Tech Denki, your crosshair disappears when you're aiming because of his fancy lock-on thing. When you turn back into Toga, if you're currently aiming, you lose all Denki's extra screen elements, but still don't get your crosshair back.

Neither transforming into someone else nor even dying and respawning will give you your crosshair back. The only way to get it back is to transform into Tech Denki again and enter aiming mode again so you can leave it properly.

Conservative play with Kurogiri won us the preliminaries. Being able to stay alive until the end and swipe KOs with chip damage and well-placed third parties. I didn't even initially plan to play Kurogiri as much as I did, but it kept working.
We tried the same strategy in the finals, but everyone in the finals was too aggressive. There were very few places to hide for long, and we were constantly on the run.
Primarily, I switched to Toga because it became clear we were not going to win the whole thing, and I just wanted the thrill of battle. Kurogiri is a strategist and support, but Toga is a scrapper.
She's been my main nearly since I started playing, and remains so even now, though Kurogiri is a close second.

No one really uses toga for disguising. I mostly use her disguise as a quick reset when I'm out of abilities or If I need to use that characters particular movement to escape

Sounds like you're underutilizing her. Yeah the disguise doesn't matter but she has dozens of multi character combos between herself and the blood she uses that can be huge damage and even one shot sometimes. If you're only using it for cooldowns then you're missing half the point of toga.

Depends on how you want to play her.
I spend as much time as possible transformed into other characters, so my level order is gamma 4 followed by giving every single rainbow card I find to my teammates. I pick up whatever speed cards I find if I don't have any Rapid teammates, but that's it.
I've been really loving Wall Runner on Rapid Toga. Even though she does have a lot of vertical mobility with her gamma, Wall Runner gives me a ton of mobility while allowing me to conserve my gammas/even after I run out of gammas, and also comes in handy for mobility when transformed into characters that lack it, like Ibara or Kendo.
I also put on Sisterly Disposition because while Toga's melee isn't terribly easy to land due to its short range, the value I get out of the times I do manage to land it is worth it.

I just tested it in training mode and it feels pretty much the same to me. I agree that it occasionally doesn't hit when the enemy is inside the cone, but it doesn't feel reproduceable in a way that suggests actual dead zones, and I'm not confident that it never did that in the past.

Not only that, but look at this:

Two level 1 betas overlaid on top of each other, one with an enemy in view, and one without. The position/angle of every needle is nearly identical, except for the lower-right one. This suggests that her beta does still have some form of trajectory adjustment to facilitate hitting enemies.

If it were a static pattern, the angle of that needle's wire would not be so different.

For example, Sisterly Disposition and Wall Runner work at all times, whether transformed or not. However, Revenge Assault does not work if you are transformed when your shield breaks.

Interesting enough though, High-Speed Replenishment has worked for me while transformed if the person I transformed into also has the tuning. I haven’t seen any cases of tunings from enemy blood doing anything on their own, but I guess tunings that normally wouldn’t work in a transformation can do so if both Toga and her transform are using it.

Is there anything a player can do to make Tech Toga's gamma hit more reliably, or is it really just up to pure chance?
It feels like even when it "tracks" an enemy, 80% of the time it gets to where they are and just disappears without making contact.

It seems to track pretty well in straight lines. So if someone is falling below you, approaching you, or running away from you.
It feels like it's almost entirely thwarted by any kind of strafing, even if the enemy is moving at walking pace.

for rapid u kinda just wanna be in the air and always on the offense side. Always have someone's blood in store, and incorporate especially ur alpha and gamma into ur combos. For example shinso alpha into rapid toga gamma if ur fast. Or rapid toga alpha into hawks beta, etc. u dont always have to have blood especially if u use it in a fight, but u wanna pull off ur alpha (if successful) beta alpha gamma (but u mostly will prob do beta alpha gamma withur that first alpha idk). Once u do that i would like stay as toga and do some alphas and then transform and use their abilities maybe to chase or smth then change back to rapid toga with refreshed cooldowns. Ez. also in team fights i would probably like aim for one person, someone that has good aoe, and use their blood to wreak havoc. Or just like single people out with 1v1 characters idk.

Tech Toga is harder to explain, but I’ll try

Tech Toga is good for up close fights, but she also does well in mid range combat too. What I use to do would be to go for a gamma shot (Tip for controller, jerk your right stick down, not hard just like a quick flick when shooting your gamma.) After the gamma if it lands I’d usally get up close and go for a beta, then transform while their down. Her Alpha is one of the fastest jn the game, and you get more and a bigger range when you upgrade it so keep that in mind. I haven’t played her in so long, so I lost most of my knowledge on playing her, but this is how I remembered doing it

Rapid Toga is a cool character because if you make two Alphas, then a Beta and a Gamma, someone's entire shield is destroyed, or you can make a Beta first and then two Alphas

but the second option is theoretically better because when you do beta the opponent is temporarily stunned and you have time for two alphas and one gamma if you aim well

I just checked it and it turned out that they changed it and you can't do the same combo, but if you have the highest level of attacks, even with one Alpha you can destroy someone's shield

When I play, I try to stay above my opponent as much as possible because it gives me an advantage in attacks and since Toga can take someone's blood and reset her cooldowns, it's pretty OP and lets me stay above the opponent constantly

Yes i spent 1200 and lost her last year but im gonna save for pity, im at 450 pulls so i need 1550 more. Im gonna strategically pull for her on like another skill set's banner so that i can get that other skill set but also guarantee toga. Cuz if i pull for toga on her banner theres a chance that i dont get her while pulling and i have to use my pity on toga where as i could've used it on someone else if u get my thinking
